Remember the results September (9/17/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens with Excalibur, Taz and Brian Danielson. Tony Ciaborne is in the ring with a table and several chairs for the contract to sign AEW World Championship matches. Schiavone then introduces AEW world champion “Hangman” Adam Page, who moves towards the ring.

Schiavone then introduces Page’s Challenger Kyle Fletcher, who heads into the ring with Don Callis. Page and Fletcher then sit at the table, with Shearborne and Charis standing there. As Schiavone is about to talk, Callis cuts off him and says there is something important to do to convey the page. Charis says he remembers Page taking over Kenny Omega a few years ago, finding someone bigger, faster and better than Kenny Omega or Page. Charis says there’s nothing Page can do for a stud athlete in history, and no one like Kyle Fletcher. Charis says the title is coming to the family. Page then tells Charis that he thought he agreed after last week that he didn’t need help. Page says he’s tired of half of his roster being in the game.

Page tells Fletcher that he is seeing his potential and what he is. Page says Fletcher is 26 years old and he can be at AEW for decades. Page says Fletcher is someone the whole roster can see to carry the company one day, and if he wants it, he must be someone worthy of it. Page says he has to win it himself and myself. Page says that when Fletcher reads the contract, he discovers that if someone from Don Charis or the Don Charis family interferes, the TNT Championship will also be stripped of.

Fletcher then tells Page that he won’t be scared of him. After that, Fletcher says that Page can put anything into his contract and he can still beat him. Fletcher then congratulates the page and says he has it in writing. Fletcher then says he is still the best professional wrestler to step into the AEW ring. Fletcher then says that once he becomes the AEW world champion, his fate will come true. Later, Fletcher says he’s better than 2019 when he first challenged the title. He’s better than 2021. Fletcher then says AEW doesn’t need pages anymore, and AEW doesn’t need Kenny Omega anymore. After that, Fletcher says it needs him and he will allow Page to ride at sunset, as the title and the entire company belongs to him now. Fletcher then signs the contract and signs it with Tony Ciaborne. Schiavone then gives it to the page, and the page looks at it.

Page says he knows he feels he is, but what Fletcher doesn’t know is how he feels every morning. Page then says it will crush him, and it will ruin him and require a little confidence that he has. Page then tells Fletcher that what he does with that feeling will define him. Page then tells Fletcher the days and years that follow so as not to disappoint him. The page signs the contract. Then both men stand up and Fletcher says he hopes he knows by now that he is the man of his words. Fletcher then says that signing this contract will not be physical and will not interfere with the match, but he promises to leave with TNT and the world title. Then Fletcher says tonight that he is beaten the page, bloody, unable to get out of it with his own legs, and tells him to say his full name until the moment comes. He then throws the microphone and leaves the ring.
