WWE SmackDown Results (9/19/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with the arrival of Drew McIntyre, the indisputable WWE champions Cody Rhodes, Chelsea Greene, Alba Feel, WWE women’s tag team champions Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Carmelo Hayes and WWE United States champion Sami Zayn.
Michael Cole and the Corey Glaves welcome us to the show. Michael Cole then heads back and interviews Brock Lesnar, but Lesnar doesn’t want to talk in the back. Lesnar then goes on stage and Cole asks Lesnar about the logistics of the interview, and Lesnar takes Cole into the ring. Lesnar throws Cole into the ring and picks him up with his throat. Corey then enters the ring and pleads for Lesnar not to destroy Cole. Lesnar then attacks Corey with F5. Lesnar then tells John Cena that he is here for him, and tomorrow is d-day. Lesnar says he’s coming for blood.
Lesnar then leaves the ring and destroys the Prime Hydration Station. Lesnar then grabs the top half of the steel stairs, but the judge asks him. Lesnar then throws the stairs aside and enters the ring, leaving only the defenseless grave of Corey. Lesnar then scoops the grave and slaps him with a second F5. Lesnar screams, “Come on, Cena!” Lesnar leaves the ring.
He then looks back at Brock Lesnar, destroying both Michael Cole and the Corey Glaves.
He then sees Brock Lesnar walking behind with purpose, and he sees Bronson Reed, Bron Blakeker and Paul Heyman. Brock then tells Paul that he should talk. Nick Aldis then stops by after Brock leaves. Aldis says Paul isn’t that day. Aldis later says he has a contract signing. After that, Aldis says that two signatures are required and there is no problem. Paul says they came here to mediate the peace between Mr. Blakeker, Mr. Reid and Usos. Aldis later says Usos is in Indianapolis, and Paul probably knows that. Paul says that Aldis is doing a great job and they will stay and enjoy the show. Paul then praises his suit to Aldis.
Michael Cole then returns to the announcement desk, but doesn’t feel good. Corey says Corey Graves is on the doctor’s appointment as Corey comes to help him. Cole then says he was in the ring, and he was beaten, piloted and pushed away, but never felt as helpless as tonight. Cole says he doesn’t know if John has the answer if it’s something that’s waiting for John Cena.
Then you will get the entrance to the first match of the night.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Alexa Bliss and “Queen” Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Chelsea Green and the Secret Helvis Alba Fele
The match begins with flares and greens, with both women locking up. Flare then takes down and Green knocks Alexa from the apron. Flair then chops, and Alexa tages him, hitting him twice his knee. Flare then hits the neckbreaker with Alba, and Alexa smashes a drop in her knee. Alexa then hits a punch and Alba pulls Alexa to the mat. Alba then kicks and sends Alexa’s head to the ring post. Alba then punches her forearm and slaps her back. Alba then suffocates Alexa with the ropes. Green suffocates Alexa, and the judge deals with Alba and Flair. Alba then stands in Alexa’s hair and pulls her arm. Green tagged him, and Alba hits his knee. Green then follows it with a thrust kick. After that, the greens will soon be fall. Green then sends Alexa to the turnbuckle several times.
Miz then heads to the announcement desk to join the call. After that, when Alba tages you set up a double Glued Buster and hit. After that, Alba approaches autumn. Alexa then hits several punches, and Alba hits Snapmare and knees back. Alba then hits the reverse tinlock. Alba then hits some Alexa chops and green tags. Green sends Alba to the corner, but she runs to her boots. Alexa then punches and slaps her on the knee. Green prevents Alexa from being tagged, but Alexa escapes from Green. Flair is trying to create a tag, but no Alba Trips Flair and tags have been created. Green slams Alexa’s head into the mat into the turnbuckle. The green hits the shoulder of the corner. As Alexa moves, Greene lets his shoulders go away. After that, when Alba tages her, she stops Alexa from creating the tag with the front face lock. Flair tagged.
The flare then hits some clotheslines and chops. Flare chops alba and green. Flare then takes a walk over Alba’s clothesline. Flair then hits Fallaway Slam. Flair then sets up Figure 4, but Alba stops her. Flare then kicks the green out of the apron and Alba gets a near fall rollup. Flare then hits a kick and a flatliner, then sends Alba to the turnbuckle. Green then stops the flare with a turnbuckle and Alba hits a thrust kick. Then, when Greene tagged, she hits the slide bulldog, followed by Swanton from Alba. Alexa then splits the cover. Alba then hits a thrust kick with Alexa and they go to the Double Gurdbuster, but Flare stops them. Alexa then attacks a huge hit with Alba, and Flair hits Green’s natural selection for victory.

After that, we head backwards. There, B-FAB tells Montesford and Angelo Dawkins that there are tough times as brothers. B-fab says that if you want a tag title, you need to do this. Michin then shows up to tell B-Fab that he needs to talk to Nick Aldis about his match between Giulia and Kiana. Montez then tells Angelo that he will get the tag title back and tell Nick that they’re good. Beau Dallas shows up and tells Angelo that his brother doesn’t want to hear what he has to say. Montes then appears and he wants to know what Beau is trying to do. Bo says it is a quest to find the right path. Eric Rowan punches Angelo and Montes.

Nathan Fraser and the axiom then proceed towards the ring. Bron Blakeker and Bronson Reed attack Fraser and the axiom. Paul Heyman then proceeds towards the ring. Paul then introduces himself. Paul says Axiom and Frazer remind him of Usos. Paul gives Jimmy and Jay spoilers for Wrestle Palooza. Fraser and the axiom then hit a missile dropkick and jumped into the lead and breaker the suicide. Nick Aldis says it looks like you’ve filled your hands. Aldis says that if you come to his show, you’ll finish things in the ring and this match will happen now.
Tag Team Match: Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) vs. The Vision (“Unpredictable Bad” Bronbreaker and “The Tribal Thief” “Big” Bronson Reed)
The match begins with Bron and an axiom, and they go to the test of strength. Axiom then hits a leg kick. Bron then returns the axiom to the horn, but the axiom escapes. Axiom hits some chops. Fraser then tags, he kicks Bron and applies a side headlock. Bron then blocks the side headlock takedown and Bron sends Fraser to the corner. The axioms then tag him and he hits the crossbody, but Bron catches the axiom and hits the power slam. Reed then tags and he denies the axiom. The lead then hits an elbow drop. The lead is then carved into the lock on the front, and Bron kicks an axiom into the rib. Bron then pulls the mask and applies the rear tinlock. Axiom then hits a chin breaker and escapes. Bron then slams his knee all the way to the middle. The axiom then hits several forearms from the turnbuckle.
Bron then goes up to the top and as the axiom hits Bron with some punches, he thrusts Bron into his head from the turnbuckle. Bron then gets an axiom on his shoulder. Bron then hits a backdrop on the axiom. Bron then tightens his side headlock and slams the clothesline. Reed then tags, and he punches the axiom and hits the headbutt. The lead hits a slam. The lead then hits the back Senton and front face lock. Bron then tags the rib with axiom and punches it. Bron then hits a suppression and he punches Fraser from the apron. After that, the strap comes down and it’s time for the spear. Axiom hits a dropkick to stop Bron. Axiom kicks out Bron, while Reed and Fraser incorporate the tag. Fraser hits the forearm, but the lead stays on his leg. Reed then places Fraser on his shoulder for a while, but Fraser escapes and hits the cutter with the rope. Fraser then hits a springboard dropkick, and he goes up to the top for a frog splash and hits for a nearby fall.
Fraser then goes up to the top due to a Phoenix splash, but he misses the lead when he moves. Fraser then lands on his feet and rolls. Reed then hits the driver in Rolling Death Valley, and the axiom hits a kick to stop the tsunami. Reed then pushes the axiom from the turnbuckle into the breaker’s spear. Reed then hits a tsunami for victory.

After the match, Paul Heyman says it’s a spoiler for Wrestleparooza. Paul is your winner, and Jimmy and Jay Uso appear on the big screen. They say they are in Indianapolis. Jimmy and Jay say you’re going to get a day one day.
Next, we see Niajax walking behind the scenes.
Nia Jax’s music hits and she moves towards the ring. Nia starts by asking fans if she knows what she’s tired of other than being in Toledo. Nia later says she’s tired of this women’s department. Nia says it’s embarrassing that they continue to call themselves Alpha women. Nia says she is an Alpha woman in this department. Nia says it’s definitely not Tiffany. Nia mimics Tiffany and says that Tiffany is an annoying thing. Nia says that’s why she had to put her in Tiffy’s timeout. Nia says that’s why she missed homecoming. Nia then says that if she can trade out her appearance with anyone in the department, it’s Jade. Nia says she looks incredible. Nia says that if she can trade ring abilities with anyone, Jade needs it, so it’s her. Nia says Jade is amazing. Nia says she looks fantastic until she enters the ring. Nia says she will wipe out her. Nia says she is the most dominant and destroys the time of Storms and Tiffy.
Tiffany Stratton’s music hits and she goes on stage. Tiffany says that what everyone is tired of is that you are running your mouth around her. Tiffany then tells Nia to stop being engrossed in her. Tiffany says no one wants you near this title. Tiffany says Jade can take off that cape. Tiffany says she’s not a superhero and isn’t here to save anyone. Tiffany says she’s here to prove why she is the only women’s champion. Tiffany says there’s nothing you can say about it or can’t. Tiffany is then stopped by an aisle official. Jade Cargill’s music hits, Jade punches security and she passes Tiffany to the apron. Jade is pulled out of the apron. Nick Aldis then tells everyone to stop. Otherwise, serious consequences will occur. Aldis then says that next week the women’s title will be in line with a triple threat match.

WWE US Championship Open Challenge Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Melo is not Miz’s Carmelo Hayes
The match begins with both men locking up. Sami then tightens the wrist lock and takes it down. Sami is then carved into the side headlock and Hayes hits a dropkick. Both men then lock again, and Hayes punches on the break. Hayes then smacks some forearms and cinches with a side headlock. Sami then punches and sends Hayes to the turnbuckle. Sami then punches Hayes with the corner. Hayes then sends Sami to the apron. Sami then drops Haze into the top rope, but Haze drops the kick and the springboard legs.
Hayes then goes to the turnbuckle and punches Sami. Hayes then hits a few kicks in the corner. Hayes then sends Sami to the turnbuckle. Sami then hits the forearm and Hayes hits a few chops. Sami then avoids the chops and Sami hits some of his own chops. Sami then hits the slums and he will be in the fall nearby. Hayes then returns Sami to the corner and slams her shoulder and punch. Hayes then suffocates Sami from the turnbuckle. Hayes then smacks the chop and he will be in the fall nearby. Hayes then punches a few punches, but Sami punches. Hayes then mounts Sami and smacks him with a punch. Hayes then slaps the elbow on his back, and the scissors’ legs fall in the nearby autumn. Haze then hits some forearms and chops against the rope. Sami then jumps over the frog on the haze and hits the clothesline. Sami then hits the boots and double sledges from the turnbuckle.
Sami then chops, goes to the turnbuckle and punches Hayes. Sami then bumps into autumn near the tornado DDT. Sami then jumps over Hayes from the corner and he bumps into Michinoku’s driver for almost autumn. Hayes then escapes the suppression and there is a series of standing switches. Hayes then grabs the ropes in an attempt at O’Connor roll by Sami. Hayes then runs down his knee. Hayes then goes up to the top and asks for a frog splash, but Sami lifts her knees. Sami then sets up a kick for Helba and Hayes hits a super kick, with both men down. Hayes then hits Sami several times. Sami then misses some clothesline loans and Hayes smacks Lamista for the nearby fall.
Hayes then punches, and Sami punches. Then both men go back and forth. The sami then hits a few chops. Sami then exponentially catches Hayes with a frog and strikes a sit-out power bomb for the nearby fall. Sami then hits the forearm and Hayes sets fire. After that, both men continue the exchange. Then both men hit the washing machine at the same time, both of them down. Hayes then charges into the corner and Sami tries the explosiver into the turnbuckle, but Hayes grabs the rope to stop Sami. Hayes then hits the Slingshot DDT on the apron. Hayes then hits a frog splash and welcomes the nearby autumn. Hayes then waits for Sami to stand up, and Hayes goes to Codebreaker, but Sami blocks it. Hayes then escapes the blue lightning bomb, and Hayes bumps into the fall near the codebreaker. Sami then blocks the suppression and asks for the suppression, but Hayes blocks it. Then we look back at last week’s match between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre.
You will then see the stage hand that sets the ring for the contract signature that will occur next.
Afterwards, you will see Solosikoa in the room. Sikor says he has been with him since the beginning of his pedigree and you didn’t betray him. Sikor says to Tonga Roa. Sikor says you were sacrificed. Sikor says you are the most dangerous man on the planet and that is the son of Haku who will put you in danger. Sikor says you brought the money. Sikor says he owe it to Roa to make him the champion. Sikor says he disappointed him. Sikor says that your loyalty will be rewarded as long as you trust him and are part of the family tree. Roa then tells Sikore that she loves him.
Nick Aldis is in the ring and says he is there to remind everyone about tomorrow night’s show. Aldis then says the main event will be a non-disputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre moves towards the ring, and before Drew speaks, Cody Rhodes also heads towards the ring. Cody says he has questions before signing the contract. Cody asks if Drew knows what happened tonight 15 years ago. Cody says he won the tag title. Cody says he knows who’s talking about it. Cody doesn’t say anything. Cody says the world doesn’t revolve around Drew or him. Cody says that’s their story. Cody says there’s no need to know all the lore. Cody says he’ll just pay to watch the two men fight. Cody says he understands who and who. Cody says he has won the Royal Rumble in the past. Cody says he’s won the title in the past. Cody says you killed the dragon. Cody says you are a Scottish warrior. Cody recently says he was a keyboard warrior. Cody then asks Drew to pull out his phone and post something on social media and put one on top of him. Cody, because it’s the last time you’ll get it on him. Drew posts “Cody You Cody.” Cody says he wants to know what that means.
Drew says all he wanted was to have a legal shot in the title and a mess with him without external interference. Drew says you won’t let it happen because you’re a company person. Drew then says you don’t think about yourself. Drew says you’re thinking about the big picture. Drew says he’s thinking about sponsors, stock prices and marquee names. Drew says he kicked Cody through the announcement desk and he went out for five weeks, and he just spoke to him for the death penalty. Drew says he was in Cody’s chair five years ago and they’ll move on from you. Drew says you’re in his chair and you say, “My God, Drew was right. Then Cody signs the contract and says that Drew is right and says that it’s a great night for you. Then he says if you lose, your legacy will be the guy who lost to Cody in his incontroversial WWE Championship debut ESPN PLE.
Drew signs the contract, and he returns it to Cody. Drew then hits the headbutt with Cody, and the table is turned over while Cody goes to the floor. Drew punches Cody into the apron and slams Cody’s head onto the announcement desk. Afterwards, Drew lines up in the desk for Claymore, and he stops thinking about it. Drew says he won’t kick his head into the desk again. Drew says this match will happen and he will take the championship, which means most to you. Drew has some words for Nick, Cody hits a suicide dive with Drew. Cody then hits a few punches. The officials then come out to separate them and they throw some punches. They both become free and eventually fall apart. It doesn’t last long, and Drew slams the boots into Cody’s head and stomps Cody as the show approaches.
