AEW Dynamite Results (October 22, 2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show begins with welcome comments to the show before announcing the card for tonight’s Dynamite. We then get news about a 4-way tag team match scheduled for later tonight, as the winner gets to choose their first round opponent.

Next, we get a video package recapping last Saturday’s AEW WrestleDream PPV.

Next, we get some post-PPV video footage. There, AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page is in the trainer’s room. Page is angry at what Ops did to him after their title match at Wrestle Dream and promises to ruin Samoa Joe’s life if he ever meets him.

The Ops then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by The Hart Syndicate.

AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Ops (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata) (c) vs. The Hurt Syndicate (“The Almighty” Bobby Lashley, “The Standard of Excellence” Shelton Benjamin, MVP)

The match begins with a staring contest between both teams, with Shibata and Benjamin starting the match on their respective teams. Shibata then locks him in a side headlock, but Benjamin shakes him off and locks him in a side headlock. Shibata then fights back and Benjamin sends him to the mat with an ankle lock, but Shibata fights back again. Shibata goes for a cover, but Benjamin rolls him up for a near fall.

Lashley then tags in and it doesn’t take long for Hobbs to tag in as well. I heard some “Meat” chants from the crowd, but Joe tagged himself instead. Lashley then sent Joe into the corner and delivered some blows before the referee intervened. Lashley is then sent to the corner and Joe fights back while mocking Lashley. Lashley then responds by taking Joe to the mat and irish whipping him into the corner and sending him back in to hit the tag to Benjamin. Benjamin then goes up top, only for Joe to dodge him and Benjamin lands on his feet.

Joe then tags Hobbs, who sends Benjamin out of the ring and Lashley is brought in. When the situation breaks down, Shibata is brought in, followed by MVP and Joe. MVP was then sent flying out of bounds before Benjamin hit a running knee on Joe, only for Hobbs to take him down hard. Joe then hits a running centone and Ops takes control. Joe corners Benjamin and punches him away, then brings him into the middle and goes for a chinlock. The referee then checks on Benjamin, but Benjamin slowly returns to a vertical base and tries to escape the hold, but Joe pushes Benjamin towards the corner and delivers more blows.

Joe then drives Benjamin into the ropes for more damage, but Benjamin starts fighting back and eventually takes Joe to the mat with a DDT and gets a tag to Lashley. Shibata also tags in, and Lashley easily throws Shibata away and hits a shot in the corner to take Shibata to the canvas. He then kicks the remaining Ops off the apron and knocks Shibata down with a Dominator. Hobbs rushes into the ring and engages in a standoff with Lashley as chants of “Meat” begin.

The two then exchange strikes until Lashley spins Hobbs around and goes for the Hurtlock, only for Hobbs to break. Both men then take each other down with shoulder tackles, and Lashley slowly gets to his feet, but Shibata gets a penalty for a nearfall. MVP then gets the tag as well as Samoa Joe and he gets sent to the mat by MVP and goes for an elbow drop and a cover. Then, a breakup occurs again between all six men before Shibata breaks the pin and Joe hits MVP with the Coquina Clutch. MVP then fires back with a jawbreaker before tightening the hold and goes for the Playmaker before Ricochet drops to the apron to create a distraction. This allows Joe to counter with the Coquina Clutch and MVP submits.

Winners and still AEW World Trios Champions The Ops (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata)!

After the match, the Hart Syndicate chases The Demand to the back. Tony Schiavone then entered the ring and interviewed the champions, specifically Samoa Joe, asking why they did what they did at Wrestle Dream on Saturday. Later, Joe runs down San Antonio and claims that Paige is not the man he says he is. Joe then mocks Paige, saying he is going to slap her before saying that The Ops is never lacking.

And Mercedes Monet can be seen arriving earlier today in a flashy vehicle with the championship in hand for a celebration later tonight.

Next, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander talks about defeating Toni Storm at Wrestle Dream and the challenge of Mercedes Mone. She then mocks Monet for what she couldn’t do and accepts Full Gear’s challenge before telling Monet to have a good celebration tonight.

Darby Allin’s music then hits and he walks down the ramp holding the AEW flag he’s had since his trip to Everest. Allin then goes down to the ring. Allin then went through the ropes and placed a flag over the AEW logo in the center of the ring as the crowd chanted his name. Allin then grabbed the microphone and addressed the people who said he couldn’t be the face of this company. Allyn said people said he might go and kill himself, which he claims is bad for public relations, but he argues the opposite and says he’s willing to go places no one else would go for this company. Allin then talked about how the scars from Saturday still lingered, and said that as long as the Death Riders were still breathing, they would never fall behind. The crowd then cheered as Allin grabbed the flag and left the ring.

Next, we get some post-Wrestle Dream video footage. There, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry talks about what it means to him and Luchasaurus to be up there again. And Perry says they’re here to take it all from now on and sends a message to whoever holds our World Tag Team Titles.

Megan Bain and Penelope Ford then come down to the ring for the next match of the night. Sky Blue and Julia Hart, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale, and Jamie Hayter and Queen Amina are next in the ring.

4-way tag match: “The Megasus” Megan Bain & Penelope Ford vs. Jamie Hayter & Queen Aminata vs. Harley Cameron & The Conglomerate’s Willow Nightingale vs. Triangle of Madness (Sky Blue & Julia Hart)

The match starts with Blue and Nightingale, with Nightingale taking control and sending Blue to the mat. Cameron was then tagged in for a double team, and Nightingale hit a side slam that resulted in a wheelbarrow splash and a near fall. Blue then fights back before receiving a few kicks. He then dodges the third kick and performs his own punching kick. A blind tag is then made by Ford and both women go into it before Ford chases Cameron and sends him to the corner.

Bane is then tagged in and Bane drives a shoulder into the midsection of Cameron. Bane and Ford then go for a double suplex, but Nightingale intervenes, only for Bane and Ford to be sent outside for an attempt to inflict pain. Cameron then rolls around and tries to tag Hayter, but Hayter goes after Bane with force, but Bane counters with a suplex. Hater then regains control, sends Bane to the corner and makes a tag with Aminata. Next, we turn our attention to double-teaming Bane. Bane responds with a suplex on both women before diving into the group of women on the outside.

Blue then gets a blind tag and goes after Aminata. Aminata takes out several women and tags Nightingale in desperation. Nightingale then sends Hart and Blue into the corner for a hip attack, then slams Hart and hits Blue with a spinebuster for a two count. Cameron then goes in for the assist, but Bane stops the Doctor Bomb attempt before Cameron can go after Bane. Bane then drags Blue into the corner and makes the tag to Ford, but Ford is launched with a Nightingale by Bane for a near fall. Blue and Hart then go after Bane but get a Stunner on Ford into a German suplex on Bane.

She then follows Nightingale and hoists her onto her shoulders, but Nightingale shakes her off and sends Bane into the Ford. Bane is then floored as Hater gets a blind tag from Nightingale, and she goes after Ford herself before Aminata joins in on the double team. Aminata’s headbutt and Hater’s Haterade win.

The winners of the 4-way tag team match are Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata!

After the match, Hater grabbed the microphone and announced that she and Aminata would like to face Heart & Blue in the first round of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament. Hater and Aminata then celebrate their victory.

They then head to the back where the Young Bucks want a prize match. They say they will fight anyone in this match and team up with anyone. Tony Khan then came out and accepted this, betting $400,000 on Collision’s 4-on-4 All-Star match, revealing that the final match would be Jurassic Express and Jetspeed vs. The Young Bucks and their match. He then opens the door even wider and we see FTR come out with Big Stoke. Stoke then talks about the team’s history ahead of Saturday’s big match.

Rene Paquette takes to the ring for Mercedes Mone’s 12 belt win celebration and gives an introduction hyping Mercedes Mone’s recent win. She then welcomes “12 Belt Mone” to the ring, and as the men head to the ramp with her championship procession, Mini Mone enters the ring in place of a big pop. She then talks about the bad things that happened with the three of them before Monet’s music plays again, revealing a very angry Mercedes Monet, who tells the boys and Paquette to leave.

She then accused Harley Cameron of mocking her, begging to be her tag partner, making fun of Cameron, and disrespecting her title celebration. She then called the fan a “stupid, stupid trace” before shoving a doll’s face into the cake. She then pulls Cameron out from under the table, but Chris Statlander also appears and lifts Monet and sends her into the table. Later, Monet, who has fallen inside the cake, is left on a broken table, causing Statlander and Cameron to make a fuss.

We then see a post-WrestleDream scene where Jon Moxley is working on coming to terms with his failure against Darby Allin that night. He says there’s no one in pro wrestling that does what he does. Moxley then shuts down the business because it doesn’t meet the standards he set. Moxley then says that Allin framed him as a liar, but when he looks at himself in the mirror, he knows who he is.

Kyle O’Reilly then makes his way down to the ring for his next match of the night, followed by Jon Moxley.

Single match: Jon Moxley of the Death Riders vs. Kyle O’Reilly of The Conglomeration

The match starts with O’Reilly trying to kick Moxley, but Moxley backs away. O’Reilly catches Moxley, but Moxley reverses with an armdrag. O’Reilly then catches Moxley with a leg hook and Moxley immediately scrambles to the ropes for a break. O’Reilly grabs Moxley’s arm and throws him to the mat. Both men get back to their feet, but Moxley cuts back and hits a cross armbreaker. O’Reilly then managed to escape, trapping both arms for a near fall on Moxley, and catching Moxley with a flying armbar.

Moxley then tries to escape, but instead stands up and hits a boot to O’Reilly’s face, breaking the hold. He then began to turn things around, grabbing O’Reilly’s legs, biting him in the head, and shoving him away. Moxley is then sent to the floor by O’Reilly as the crowd continues to remind Moxley of his resignation at Wrestle Dream. O’Reilly then chases Moxley out of bounds for a dropkick from the apron before returning him to the ring. Both men then fight stand-up until Moxley gets caught in the ropes, and O’Reilly gets some more kicks before sending Moxley to the mat. He then drives Moxley into the corner and applies a hammerlock, then goes for a guillotine on Moxley and transitions into a triangle choke.

Moxley then uses his strength to reach the ropes for a break before slamming O’Reilly into the ropes. The fight then ends on the apron and O’Reilly chokes Moxley’s arm and sends him into the hardest part of the ring. Moxley gets back in the ring and O’Reilly goes up top and hits a knee drop, going for the leg before covering. Moxley then kicked out in the nick of time and caught O’Reilly with a cross armbreaker, which allowed O’Reilly to reverse and successfully apply an ankle lock. Moxley then fights back with a chinlock, but O’Reilly hits a cross armbreaker on Moxley, and Moxley takes O’Reilly into a lariat to escape. He hits another stall piledriver, but O’Reilly kicks out and Moxley hits a bulldog choke. The move was loose enough for O’Reilly to reach the ropes for a break, and he avoided a curb stomp and landed a chop block.

A rolling elbow follows, and O’Reilly manages to land an ankle lock after missing a rebound lariat. Moxley didn’t want to give up and chose to blatantly hit the referee with a forearm blow. Other referees then run to the ring and demand a disqualification.

Due to disqualification, the winner of the singles match is Kyle O’Reilly of The Conglomeration!

After the match, things break down like crazy as The Conglomeration intervenes on O’Reilly’s behalf, and the Death Riders also come in and eventually get out of the ring.

Then the next match of the night begins.

Trio match: Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Yuta Wheeler) vs. The Conglomeration (Mark Brisco, “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy), Paragon’s Roderick Strong

The match starts with Cassidy and Yuta, both of them hitting each other near the falls. Yuta then dodged an Orange Punch attack that attempted to tag Garcia, and Garcia got the upper hand on Cassidy, much to the delight of the crowd. This led to Mark Brisco making the tag and hitting Garcia with hard shots before Garcia reversed. This doesn’t last long as Brisco then gets the drop on Garcia and tags in with Strong.

After pushing Garcia to the limit, Castagnoli was tagged in and Castagnoli was attacked by Strong. Strong is then sent to the corner, where he bounces off Garcia and Yuta, and Castagnoli counters by sending him flying out of bounds. Strong then goes for a dive on Castagnoli after dealing with Yuta, but Castagnoli catches him, only to be sent into the barricade due to Strong’s backbreaker. Castagnoli is then brought back into the ring, but Yuta continues to distract Strong long enough for Castagnoli to fight back and the Death Riders take firm control.

Strong and Castagnoli then continued to fight until they fell to the mat. Yuta then gets the tag first, quickly followed by Cassidy, who kicks Yuta out of the ring. Yuta and Garcia then rush into the ring, but find themselves quickly chased back by Cassidy before Castagnoli can rush in. He then sends Cassidy out, but Mark Brisco appears and fights off Castagnoli and Yuta at the same time.

Castagnoli was then sent off when Yuta started fighting back, but Brisco took him down with a near fall. He then looks for Jay Driller, but the situation quickly turns into chaos between all six until Garcia intervenes and Yuta takes a big palm strike. Strong then breaks the pin attempt after taking Brisco down with a rebound and forcing Brisco into a near fall with an ugly knee. He and Castagnoli then left the ring as Yuta hit a series of hammer and elbow shots. Brisco then escapes, but Yuta gets out of the Jade Driller, only to get hit with a short arm lariat, and Brisco hits the Jade Driller for the win.

Winners of the trios match, The Conglomeration (Mark Brisco and “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy) and Paragon’s Roderick Strong!

After the match, there’s no time to celebrate as PAC rushes after Briscoe. Tomohiro Ishii then makes a save, but Moxley comes out to the ring and Marina Shafir gives Ishii a low blow. The Death Riders then try to dump Orange Cassidy on the announce desk before Darby Allin comes out, but Darby Allin shoots Castagnoli in the leg with a baseball bat. The Death Riders then depart through the crowd.

We then head to the back, where we hear from an enraged Mercedes Monet, but are quickly interrupted by Athena. She talks about both women building their own legends before offering to build something together as AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions. Mercedes liked the sound of that, so Athena said she was going to have her clean up and get the minions ready for training.

AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis then exit and the crowd tells Callis how he feels. Fletcher then tells San Antonio to say his full name before speaking his defense against Mark Brisco at WrestleDream. And he says this will be done between them, so there will be no back and forth. He then said after getting a little frustrated with some minor mic troubles that he would be the TNT Champion for a very long time.

Mark Briscoe comes down to the ring to respond to Saturday’s gaffe. Briscoe said he has no intention of facing Fletcher a million more times and is just looking for one more shot. Briscoe then asks Kyle what he’s saying. Caris then says that she has something to say to Brisco on Fletcher’s behalf. And he said Brisco is a great wrestler and a great athlete. And while he says he respects Briscoe, Briscoe seemed desperate. He then acknowledged that Briscoe had children and called them a financial burden. He says Brisco needs a family like the Don Callis family. And he says he’s telling Brisco what he wants to hear, but he’s saying no to a TNT title match. Fletcher and Brisco then stare at each other and Fletcher’s music plays.

The official standings for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament, which begins next week, have been announced.

We then head to the back and hear from Mina Shirakawa who talks about teaming up with Toni Storm in the tournament before Tecla interrupts. This causes Shirakawa to challenge Thecla to a match at Collision, which Thecla accepts.

Bandido then makes his exit for the night’s main event, followed by Kazuchika Okada.

AEW Unified Championship Match: Don Callis Family’s “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. AEW World Tag Team of Brodid and ROH World Champion Bandido

The match begins with both men locked up, with Bandido sending Okada into the ropes before the referee intervenes. Bandido then sends Okada to the ropes again, but Bandido falls to the mat before he can go to the ropes again. Bandido then brings Okada down hard again. Bandido then fires his gun at Okada, who knocks it away and then punches Bandido away. This causes Bandido to send Okada out of the ring, but he is forced to chase Bandido around the ring and gets hit with a boot by Okada. Okada then fought Bandido on the guardrail and taunted Bandido’s family in the front row.

Okada then gets Bandido to his feet, and Bandido reverses with a DDT from the apron and slams Okada to the floor. Okada takes control with an elbow drop on Bandido in the ring. He then taunted the crowd, which allowed Bandido to gain control on Tourneo and send Okada out of bounds for a dive. He then brings Okada back into the ring and hits a frog splash for a two count. Okada rolls onto the apron and Bandido intercepts him, but his arm gets caught in the ropes. Okada then returns to the ring and goes after Bandido’s arm, but Bandido fights back, but Okada kicks him in the injured shoulder.

Okada lifts Bandido up and looks like he’s going for a Tombstone Piledriver, but hits Bandido with a shoulder breaker instead. Bandido then rolls out of the ring and consults a medical for his condition, and Okada chases Bandido back into the ring. He then chases the shoulder some more before Bandido can fight back. He then tries an X-knee on Okada, but Okada shakes it off and Bandido succeeds on his second try. He then swings to the ropes and hits a 21 plex, but Bandido struggles to cover, giving Okada a chance to kick out for two.

Bandido then takes Okada into the corner, and Okada fights back and sets him up in the corner for a powerbomb, but Bandido reverses and hits a hurricanrana. Okada then catches Bandido with a surprise attack, but Bandido holds him up for a two count. Okada goes back, but Bandido hits a rainmaker. He then hits an X-knee, but Okada escapes the 21-plex and hits the Rainmaker for the win.

The winner is AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada of the Don Callis Family who is currently the AEW Unified Champion!

After the match, the rest of the Don Callis family joins Okada in a celebration as Konosuke Takeshita’s music plays and the crowd cheers loudly as the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion comes down the ramp. Callis and Fletcher then leave the ring and try to calm things down with Takeshita, but Okada only seems to smile at the situation and stands up with the rest of the Don Callis family as Dynamite draws to a close.
