AEW Dynamite Results (November 5, 2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens with a video package recapping Fright Night Dynamite and Samoa Joe and The Ops’ attack on AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page. From there, they head to ringside and Tony Schiavone starts announcing the new AEW championship, the Ops music plays, and Joe says, “Houston, we’ve got a problem” until they get down to the ring.

Joe then says there’s an old saying that might apply to ring man Tony Schiavone. The crowd then chants for Tony, but Joe seems angry at the man who helped trick The Ops last week and tells them to shut up when they start showing respect to Tony. And Joe says that actions have consequences, and those consequences came to Tony Schiavone as well. Ops then jumps onto the ring apron as security rushes in to stop the match, but Joe retreats due to the arrival of AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page.

Joe says this means he can deal with two problems at once and security tries to hold Page back, but Hook and Eddie Kingston come down to the ring to even out the numbers. Opps then retreats up the ramp as Paige says she understands the confusion but he’s here. Paige then says that although she may be Joe’s problem, she’s going to hit him with the Wrangler. HOOK then also took the mic and asked The Ops how it felt to hold the title without him before challenging the champion for the title tonight. Joe is then furious at this and finally accepts the challenge upon hearing that Tony Khan has made the match official.

Commentary then teases tonight’s lineup as Orange Cassidy steps into the ring for the first match of the night. Claudio Castagnoli then steps down to the ring.

Men’s Blood & Guts Advantage Match (1st match): Conglomerate’s “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy vs. Death Riders’ Claudio Castagnoli

The match begins with Cassidy diving into Castagnoli on the outside. Castagnoli then brought the match back into the ring and managed to turn things around. Castagnoli then took Cassidy out of the ring and punched him, slamming him into the barricade. Castagnoli then tries to lift Cassidy back into the ring, but Cassidy clings onto Castagnoli’s back and manages to escape. Then, as Castagnoli starts to fade, Cassidy goes for something like a sleeper hold. Castagnoli then tried to fight out of his grip and even spun Cassidy, but Cassidy still held on. Castagnoli finally managed to escape, dragging Cassidy around and performing a Giant Swing, sending Cassidy over the ropes and out of bounds.

Cassidy returned to the ring and started fighting back, but Castagnoli sent him into the corner and landed an uppercut. Castagnoli then stepped back, teasing the crowd, which gave Cassidy an opening to put his hands in his pockets and get another wind. He then ran the ropes and knocked Castagnoli to the mat, scoring a penalty before Castagnoli left the ring. Cassidy then goes for a tornado DDT from the corner, but Castagnoli catches him, but Castagnoli is knocked out of bounds with a DDT.

The match then returned to the ring and Cassidy continued, but Castagnoli knocked him to the mat for a near fall. Cassidy and Castagnoli then wobble to the ropes, but Cassidy hits Castagnoli with a Stand Dog Millionaire from the apron and surprises him with an Orange Punch. Castagnoli then landed a pop-up uppercut on Cassidy for the win.

The winner of the men’s Blood & Guts Advantage Battle is Claudio Castagnoli of Death Riders!

Then we head to the back and Renee Paquette is on standby along with Mark Briscoe, Kyle Fletcher, and Don Callis. Mark says he heard Caris’ reaction to a rematch challenge for the TNT Championship a few weeks ago, but wanting to hear Fletcher’s actual opinion, Mark challenges Fletcher to a no-disqualification match for the TNT Championship at Full Gear. Fletcher is interested, but Caris tells Mark that she wants him to bet something on the match. He tells her that if he loses, he will have to join the Don Callis family. Mark accepts, convinced he won’t lose.

Commentary then hypes up Full Gear’s Million Dollar Trios match before heading to the back to hear from The Young Bucks with Don Callis and Josh Alexander. Amid speculation that Bucks has joined the Don Callis family, Don talks about his recent contributions to the Bucks. When Don asks Okada to testify, the rest of the family except Konosuke Takeshita shows up to greet him. The Bucks then ask for space and the family leaves. Okada told him not to waste too much time before leaving too.

Then, back at ringside, commentary hypes up the Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament as Mercedes Mone makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Athena then descends into the ring. We then look back at Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale’s save against Statlander, and Athena’s aid to Monet before going down to the ring as the match begins.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinals: AEW TBS Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Monet and ROH Women’s World Champion “The Fallen Goddess” Athena vs. Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and The Conglomerate’s Willow Nightingale)

The match begins with Athena and Monet blindside Harley and Willow, followed by a match between Monet and Cameron. Mone then brings Cameron into the corner and tries to boot him to the throat, but Athena continues to attack and nearly falls. Monet was then tagged and as the crowd chanted “Boston sucks,” Monet laid Cameron down and she got a near fall. Cameron then crawls to the corner and makes a tag to Willow, who takes out Athena and Monet with a missile dropkick. Cameron then looks for the tag and gets it and both women take Monet down before Cameron gets a two count. Willow is then sent flying out of bounds and Athena appears, where Willow steals a dive from Athena and Monet almost falls to Cameron.

Monet then hits a few vertical suplexes before building her into Athena, but Cameron and Willow take her opponent down to the canvas. After that, Athena was attacked by Willow in the corner and almost fell, but Athena tagged Monet and fought back. Mone then takes Willow down hard, but only gets a count of two before launching into more forearm attacks. Willow then fights back for a tag to Cameron, but Monet takes Willow down with a backstabber, only to take the sole food from Cameron. Babes of Wrath then sends Athena to the corner, Athena dodges and Mone hits a backstabber on Cameron and transitions into the Statement Maker.

Cameron then looked troubled as Willow got up and ran the ropes to attack Athena and send her into Monet to break the submission hold. Athena then rolls onto the apron as Willow tags in and both women are ejected as Athena gets the tag. She then takes out Willow and sends her to the corner where Cameron makes the tag to come back. Then she charges at Athena. Athena shoulders Willow and catches Cameron in her arms before slamming both women to the canvas. She then demands Billy Starks come to ringside and intervene, but Chris Statlender fends her off before Willow hits a powerbomb on Athena and Cameron hits a finishing maneuver for the victory.

Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron & The Conglomerate’s Willow Nightingale) are the winners of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Quarterfinals!

After the match, the Babes of Wrath celebrate their victory.

Tony Schiavone then returns to ringside to reveal the news that was reported on social media today that the first AEW National Champion will be crowned in the Full Gear Casino Gauntlet Match. Tony then spoke on TBS about the history of the United States Championship and introduced the first two men signed for the match, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. The Hurt Syndicate then makes their way down to the ring to some nice pops and chants of “WE HURT PEOPLE” from the crowd.

MVP jokes that he has confirmed that this is actually Schiavone. He touted the Heart Syndicate as the most interesting in any room we walked into, before talking about the pedigree of national titles over the years. He also talks about the iconic names that have held the title, but who is more iconic than “The Almighty” Bobby Lashley? He then hypes up how good Shelton Benjamin is and Tony asks what would happen if these two met in a match. MVP then stated that they treat things like businessmen and what is best for the business is also best for the AEW audience. Ricochet is then interrupted by Demand, as he is booed from the building for wearing a Philadelphia Eagles cap while paying homage to the Hart Syndicate.

He then joked about the fact that he made sure the Syndicate never won gold again, and asked Lashley how his back was going as the crowd chanted “Shut up!”…Ricochet replied that they were only making things worse. MVP then talked about Ricochet and after declaring that Ricochet would be the first AEW National Champion, he said that he likes to get hurt and that the Hart Syndicate likes to hurt people who try to invite Ricochet and his crew into the ring for matches. Then Ricochet laughs.

Then we head to the back, where Jack Perry tells Luchasaurus that there are things more important than money, while talking to Young Buck, who is facing a difficult situation. He then holds out a $100 bill with a knife stuck in it and tells Luchasaurus to leave it.

Darby Allin then descends into the ring for the next match of the night. We then head to the back where Moxley urges Daniel Garcia to take care of this and Garcia makes his way through the crowd and down to the ring.

Men’s Blood & Guts Advantage Match (2nd match): Darby Allin vs. Death Riders Daniel Garcia

The match started out favoring Garcia, but Allin showed some technical skill and eventually landed a side headlock. Garcia then pulls Allin by the ear and flees the scene. Allin then moved to the apron, but was caught in the corner by Garcia, who attempted to choke Allin with a turnbuckle cover before the referee intervened. Garcia then goes back to attacking, but Allin fights back before he can bite Garcia. Garcia then falls to the floor and takes a dive that sends both men flying to the floor. Allin backs away first, sending Garcia into the ring steps and charging.

He then brings Garcia back in the ring, but Garcia quickly slips out and trips Allin on the ring apron, then hits him with a boot to the face. He then brought Allin back up and the impact sent Allin into the ring steps, knocking him to the floor. Garcia has the advantage over Allin in the ring, and Allin puts Garcia in a guillotine choke on the canvas. Garcia then breaks free, but Allin quickly goes for another hold, only for Garcia to put him in a rear-naked choke. Allin then steps back and tries to force a break with Garcia on his shoulders.

Garcia then quickly returned before going back into the corner, leading to a count to break the hold. The match then goes back to the corner where Garcia goes for a superplex, hits and goes for a second suplex, but Allin counters into a Scorpion Deathdrop. The referee started counting and both men went down.

Allin heads to the corner and stands up, but gets dropped to the floor by Garcia instead. Garcia then dragged Allin around, then moved him away from the ring and pushed Allin’s head against the ring for a vicious dropkick. The referee then intervened and told Garcia to back up as he returned to the ring. This leaves the referee with no choice but to start counting until Garcia is admitted to have tried to go back after Allin. Meanwhile, PAC sneaks to ringside and goes for a cheap shot before slipping through the crowd.

An altercation with Garcia then reset the count, with the referee reaching nine just before Allin jumped into the ring. Garcia then finds the opening he needs as he launches a heavy attack on Allin. He then traps the Dragon Slayer, but it appears to be Scorpion Deathlock when he taunts Sting before handing Arryn over. Allin then crawls to the ropes but is pulled back to the center of the ring by Garcia. Allin. He then managed to break free and counter into his own Scorpion Deathlock, leaving Garcia with no choice but to tap out.

Darby Allin, winner of the Men’s Blood & Guts Advantage Battle!

After the match, the Death Riders defeated Darby Allin, and things broke down as nearly the rest of the Death Riders and Conglomeration descended on ringside. Kyle O’Reilly then looked hurt as Strong led the Death Riders away from the ring. After that, the staring contest between both teams continued.

We then returned to ringside as FTR made his way down to the ring to boos from the crowd. Cash Wheeler talks about another shot at the tag titles, but says he should have been a three-time champion at Forbidden Door. He then said he was up for a fight with Brodid and called on the champions to go one-on-one face-to-face. Brodid’s music then plays, but the champion is nowhere to be seen, locked in a dressing room backstage, and Big Stoke is looking at his phone and doesn’t understand why he can’t come out. Dax then teases this and talks about having Bandido’s family at ringside.

The family, including his younger brother Gravity, then appears when Dax introduces himself in Spanish to Bandido’s grandmother and Cash, stating that it warms his heart to see her cheering for her grandson. He then asks his grandmother how old she is, but she interrupts him by saying that he can’t be any older than 113 years old. He then makes a Dia de los Muertos joke before saying that he and Cash would like to adopt her as their abuela. He then says he wants to seal the deal with Beso (Kiss), but Gravity fights for her honor before Brody King bursts through the door and grabs Big Stoke, taking him to the ring and getting beaten up before he and Bandido can escape.
