Dolph Ziggler Shares Exciting Response to His WWE Raw Comeback

2 Min Read

Last Monday on WWE Raw, Dolph Ziggler, also known as Nick Nemeth, made his first appearance in two years. He competed against Solo Sikoa in the “Last Time Is Now” tournament, which marked John Cena’s final match, but Sikoa emerged victorious. Speaking on “Busted Open Radio,” Nemeth shared his excitement about returning to Raw.

“We had to stay hidden all day, but it was enjoyable,” Nemeth revealed. “Over my 20 years in wrestling, I’ve seen many people hide, but I never had to. I wore all black, a ski mask, and sunglasses, and they took me to a loading dock where I ended up hiding for five or six hours.”

Despite their efforts to keep the return under wraps, Nick’s brother and tag team partner, Ryan Nemeth, informed him that the news leaked hours before the show. Nevertheless, Nemeth had a memorable comeback at Madison Square Garden.

Bobby Roode, Nemeth’s former tag team partner and current WWE producer, acted as his WWE contact during Raw. Nemeth praised Roode’s involvement and thanked him for taking part in the tournament marking Cena’s retirement.

“This new stage, I didn’t realize there were people behind you making noise—that sound is very real and energizing. Sometimes you even get dizzy or see sparks from the energy. It’s definitely a special night,” Nemeth said.

Nemeth also noted that his return felt different due to the new circumstances and his role as a guest. His main aim against Sikoa was to give fans a memorable moment, which he hopes they succeeded in doing on Monday night.
