The former WWE superstar, now a TNA wrestler, has announced his retirement set for next year, as revealed on the latest episode of TNA iMPACT. During the show, all members of The System—Moose, Eddie Edwards, JDC, Alisha Edwards, and Brian Myers—were given a chance to speak.

When JDC took the microphone, he shared reflections on his recent marriage. Known to WWE fans as Fandango, JDC revealed that after discussing with his wife, he has decided to retire following TNA’s Genesis 2026 event.

Although TNA has not yet confirmed the exact date for Genesis 2026, the event typically occurs early in the year. The 2025 edition took place on January 19th, which means JDC has only a few months left before retiring from wrestling.

JDC was trained by Killer Kowalski, who also trained notable wrestlers such as Triple H and Kofi Kingston. JDC debuted in 1999, signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2006, stayed with the company until 2021, and joined TNA in 2023.

JDC joins a growing list of wrestling legends who are concluding their in-ring careers soon. John Cena is set to retire at the main event of Saturday Night in December 2025, Hiroshi Tanahashi will retire at Wrestle Kingdom 20 in January 2026, and AJ Styles is also retiring in 2026.

Keep following SEScoops for the latest updates as JDC prepares to exit the wrestling ring.

Fan Take: JDC’s retirement marks the end of an era for TNA Wrestling fans who have followed his journey from WWE to TNA. This transition could open opportunities for fresh talent while honoring the legacy of seasoned wrestlers, signaling a new chapter for the sport.
