WWE Teams Up with AAA for YouTube Stream, Sets Sights on AEW Full Gear Showdown

On Friday, November 21st, it was announced that the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide event scheduled for Saturday, November 22nd, will be available to watch live on WWE’s YouTube channel, as well as AAA’s official YouTube channel.

This event highlights the ongoing rivalry between WWE and AEW, as it is set to stream around 9:15 p.m., coinciding with the main event of AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view. Unlike past occasions where WWE did not stream competing events, this time WWE is giving AAA a promotional boost amid their competition with AEW. Historically, WWE’s NXT premium live events often conflicted with AEW’s pay-per-views, with multiple instances this year where both promotions scheduled events at the same time to compete for viewers.

Saturday’s AAA card will feature WWE stars following WWE’s acquisition of the Mexican promotion in April 2025. Highlights include AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio teaming with El Grande Americano against Dragon Lee and El Hijo del Vikingco. Chelsea Green and Ethan Page will defend the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles against Laura Vice and Mr. Iguana, while Natalya teams with Faby Apache to face Flamer and La Hiedra. NXT’s Jevon Evans, fresh from John Cena’s The Last Time Is Now tournament, will participate in a number one contender match for the AAA cruiserweight title against Axiom and Octagon Jr. Other matches include La Parka vs. Galeno Del Mar, and a multi-man bout involving Psycho Clown, Pagano, Dave the Clown, Murder Clown, El Mesias, Forastero, Mecha Wolf, and Sanson.

Fan Take: This partnership is significant for WWE fans as it signals a deeper integration of global wrestling talent, potentially elevating the competitive landscape and offering fresh storylines. It could mark a new era where WWE blurs traditional boundaries, enriching the sport with exciting cross-promotional events.
