Malik Blade has made his official comeback after being out of action for over a year due to a torn ACL. The NXT talent returned on the night of Friday, November 21st, during a live event in Bartow, Florida, marking his first match since October 2024.
In a singles match against Aigle Blanc at a house show, Blade unfortunately did not secure a win, but his real triumph was simply stepping back into the ring. His last match before the injury occurred during an NXT Level Up taping on October 15, 2024.
Having been sidelined for more than 12 months, Blade celebrated his return on social media with a congratulatory message, stating, “I’m here again!” Despite the loss to Blanc, this comeback represents a significant milestone in Blade’s journey to regain prominence within NXT. There is no word yet on when he will reappear on television, but his return to active competition strongly indicates he is fully cleared to perform.
