Last year, WWE NXT held its Battlegrounds Premium Live event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, marking the company’s first show at that venue and featuring several intense hardcore moments. The night was packed with excitement, but one of the most hazardous highlights came during a six-way ladder match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship when Lash Legend was thrown off two ladders outside the ring. Recently promoted to WWE’s main roster, Lash Legend shared in a new interview with Unlikely how her opponents worked together to lift and slam her onto the ladder.
“I didn’t think the girls would pick me up. It was definitely teamwork from the five of them… together they managed to lift me and slam me onto the ladder. It was wild, and I’ll never forget that moment,” she said. “My adrenaline was through the roof, and I thought I’d be fine, but it definitely hurt a lot. I took the hit on my lower back first, which was surprising, but thankfully, I’m okay—just a big bruise.”
Last month, Lash Legend made her main roster debut in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series and is expected to continue competing on WWE SmackDown for the foreseeable future.
