AEW Collision: Winter Is Coming Results (12/13/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens with a welcome from Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness as they run through today’s show line-up. Next, we recap last Wednesday’s Dynamite: Winter Is Coming, where Samoa Joe defeated Eddie Kingston and “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland defeated The Ops.
Then we got video footage of “Hangman” Adam Page saying he would compete for the AEW World Championship.
Swerve Strickland then steps down to the ring with Prince Nana for the first match of the night, followed by Josh Alexander with Don Callis.
Single match: Swerve Strickland vs. Don Callis Family’s “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander
The match begins with Alexander cornering Strickland and both men locking up in the middle of the ring. He then runs the ropes and tries to take Strickland down, but he stands firm. Alexander tries again, but Strickland doesn’t move. Strickland then runs the ropes, wakes up Alexander and drops him with a buckle bomb. Follow up with a pump kick. Strickland then checks the knee, grabs Alexander and lands a big knee drop on the side of the head. Strickland then hits a big reverse neckbreaker on Alexander and does it again.
Strickland then drives Alexander to the floor. Strickland then attempts a kick to Alexander, but it is blocked as Alexander picks Strickland up and drops him on the announce desk. Alexander then picked Strickland up, stood him on the apron, chopped him and hit a crossbody, knocking Strickland to the floor. Strickland then fights back, pushing through the pain of his damaged knee. Strickland then hits an Avalanche Angle Slam and they both go down. Alexander then blocks a half-and-half suplex and goes for the leg. Strickland then fights off his grip for a while, but eventually Alexander traps Strickland with a single leg Boston Crab. Strickland then gives Alexander a house call, but Alexander doesn’t back down. Strickland then applies big pressure for the win.
Single match winner, Swerve Strickland!
After the game, Strickland picked up Mack and told him it was time to get back to work. Strickland then says that the last time he was in Cardiff, he was AEW World Champion. And Strickland says it’s time to do what he does best. Strickland then says he’s not coming back for the Don Callis family or the Ops. And Strickland says he’s back to win the AEW World Title.
Next, we get a video package promoting the match between The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega against The Don Callis Family on Wednesday’s three-hour show.
We then head to the back where Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa cut a promo saying that the Babes of Wrath can’t toast the championship without the Timeless Love Bomb.
Chris Statlender and Jamie Hayter then go down to the ring for the next match of the night and the Sisters of Sin music plays, but they don’t come out.
Tag match: AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander & Jamie Hayter vs. Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart & Sky Blue)
The match begins with Thecla appearing on the ramp in place of the Sisters of Sin and distracting Chris Statlander and Jamie Hayter, allowing Sky Blue and Julia Hart to jump them. Hater then fights back and takes Blue down. Statlender then teams up with Hater, who picks up Statlender and slams him into Blue. Hayter and Statlender then continue to double team Blue with a double elbow drop. Statlender then kicks Blue in the head, sending her flying into the corner, allowing Julia Hart to make the tag. Hart then nails Hater, who teams up with Statlander. Hater hits a pump kick on Hart and follows up with an Exploder.
Hater then hits Hart with a snap suplex and covers her for just a one count. Blue distracts the referee and Hart gives Hater a leg trip takedown. Hart then covers Hater but only gets a two count. Blue and Statlander return and Statlander nails Blue with a running knee in the corner and covers Blue for just a two count. Blue then rolls up Statrender, but Statrender kicks out at two. Hart is then tagged in and the Sisters of Sin double team Statlander. Hart then nails Statlander in the back. Blue then rolls up Statrender and tags in for just a two count. Hater then appears as all four women defeat each other.
All the girls stand up and exchange blows and thrusts and kicks. Hart then slams Hater to the floor and Statlander hits Blue with a sitdown powerbomb and covers Blue for just a two count. Blue slams Statlender to the floor and hits a pump kick on Hater, who tags in as well. Hayter then lifted Hart with a German Suplex Blue and hit him with a backbreaker, earning him the victory on Hayterde.
The winners of the tag team match are AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter!
After the match, Tecla is seen watching Hayter and Statlender head toward the back from the VIP area.
We then head to the back where Statlander and Hayter are being interviewed and we get down to business right away. It was then officially announced that Statlander would defend the title against Hater at AEW World’s End.
Claudio Castagnoli then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Konosuke Takeshita.
Continental Classic Blue League Match: Claudio Castagnoli of the Death Riders vs. IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family
The match started with both men locked up in the ring, with both men breaking the hold. The two then lock up again, Castagnoli grabs Takeshita’s arm, and Takeshita reverses the hold, knocking Castagnoli down. Castagnoli stands up as Takeshita stands on the ropes. Then there’s a definite break and stare. Castagnoli then puts a side headlock on Takeshita. Takeshita then breaks the hold and both men attempt a takedown with a shoulder tackle. Takeshita then hits Castagnoli with a big kick and knocks him down with a flying elbow. Castagnoli is standing in the corner. Takeshita then nailed Castagnoli in the head as the fans counted. Castagnoli then fought back and hit Takeshita with a running elbow.
It has no effect on Takeshita and both men trade elbows. Castagnoli then nails Takeshita, lifts him up and slams him down. Castagnoli then lifts Takeshita up, but Takeshita counters. Takeshita then hits Castagnoli with a big boot, knocking him out of the ring. Takeshita then flies off the apron and hits a big forearm from Castagnoli. The referee then checks on Takeshita. Castagnoli then jumped up and landed with both feet on Takeshita’s chest. Castagnoli then helped Takeshita to his feet and both men headed to the rampway. Furthermore, Takeshita blocks Castagnoli’s DDT, picks him up and slams him down. Takeshita then charges at Castagnoli, but Castagnoli catches him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.
Takeshita then fights with a sleeper hold and slams Castagnoli to the floor. In addition, Takeshita followed up with a big dive over the top on Castagnoli, followed by a big boot in the ring and a Blue Thunder Bomb. Then Takeshita went to cover and Castagnoli kicked out for two. Castagnoli then blocks a knee kick and hits Takeshita with a giant swing. He then hits Takeshita with a Sharpshooter. Takeshita tries to break the hold and Castagnoli goes for a crossface. Takeshita then counters with a pinfall, forcing Castagnoli to break the hold and escape.
Takeshita then rolls Castagnoli into a handstand position, launches him into a double leg trap tombstone, and follows up with a wheelbarrow German suplex. With five minutes remaining, Castagnoli turned Takeshita over with a European uppercut. Takeshita then blocked the Neutrizer and both nailed each other with uppercuts and clotheslines, leading to both falling to the mat. Takeshita and Castagnoli then traded shots on the floor with less than a minute left. Castagnoli then barely makes it into the goal before the ten count. Castagnoli then eats a boot, kicks out, and counters Raging Fire into the Gotch Neutralizer. Castagnoli then goes for a cover, but Takeshita kicks out. Then time ends and the referee calls for the bell.
Continental Classic Blue League game ends in a draw as time runs out!
After the match, Castagnoli and Takeshita stood in the center of the ring as officials came from behind to stop the match. The two are then separated as the rest of the Death Riders and the Don Callis family descend to split the fight.
We then head to the backside where Lexi Nair is talking with Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight about tonight’s Continental Classic match. They both say they hold nothing back from each other and it’s all out of respect.
Tony Schiavone enters the ring and brings out the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Babes of Wrath. Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron then head to the ring. Willow and Harley then start chanting Babes of Wrath. Willow then says that the last time she was here, she had a fight with Harley Cameron. Harley then talks about how the airline lost her luggage. Willow then says that she doesn’t have anyone willing to be her partner. Harley then starts talking about the other team trying to get a shot as Timeless Love Bombs music plays. They then go down to the ring.
Toni Storm then takes the microphone as fans sing her name. Storm asks Cardiff to listen. Toni then said that she gave Mina and Harley a memorable fight. Then Mercedes Monét’s music plays, announcing that there can be no championship celebration without the greatest champion of all time. Then Mina Shirakawa tells Monet to “shut up.” Monet then says that no one told her to shut up. Toni then challenges Mone to a match, but Mone never says that Wales is not good enough to be a great nation. Willow then said that she wasn’t good at math either and that there were four of them and she was one of them. Monet then says that Toni Storm will accept the challenge, so she will bring her friends to Manchester.
We then head to the backside where Ricochet talks about how 2026 will be a better year for him as he competes in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal.
Next, we get a video package promoting the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale, which will take place this Wednesday in Manchester, England during a three-hour holiday bash special.
Kevin Knight then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Mike Bailey.
Continental Classic Gold League Match: Jetspeed’s “The Jet” Kevin Knight vs. Jetspeed’s “Speedball” Mike Bailey
The match begins with a handshake between both players. Both men then run the ropes, knowing each other’s moves, and perform ducking kicks. Bailey and Knight are then trapped. Knight then takes Bayley down with an armdrag and Bayley is sent to the corner. Bayley then hits a big elbow on Knight. Knight goes to the ropes and drives Bayley to the floor. Bayley trips over Knight’s leg as Knight tries to escape to the ropes. Bayley then jumps over the ropes and lands on Knight on the floor.
Knight then hits a springboard clothesline to the floor. Bayley then slams Knight to the mat with a top rope prana, but Knight counters the Ultima Weapon and hits a hurricanrana of her own. Bayley then hits a shooting star knee press from the apron. Both men then fight to the top rope and Knight hits Bayley with a superplex. Both men then tripped and Bayley gained the advantage, resulting in a near fall. Knight goes for a splash from the top. Bayley then gets up in time and Knight knocks him out of the sky with a windmill kick. There were less than 10 minutes left in the game.
Knight then nails Bayley in the center of the ring. Bayley then crawls to the corner and hits a Coast to Coast. Bayley then counters a UFO splash and nails Knight with a pinwheel kick again. The two then exchange pinfall attempts until Bayley hits Knight with a Rubik’s Cube for the win.
Jet Speed’s “Speedball” Mike Bailey is the winner of the Continental Classic Gold League Match!
After the match, Bayley picked up Knight and the two shook hands.
Next, let’s talk about Kyle Fletcher’s loss to Mike Bailey last Wednesday. It was then announced that Fletcher would face Dynamite’s PAC in the next Continental Classic match.
Next, go to PAC. PAC says he will beat Fletcher because Fletcher is a very different breed, and Fletcher discovers that.
Daniel Garcia then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night, followed by Mark Brisco.
AEW TNT Championship Match: Mark Brisco (c) of The Conglomeration vs. Daniel Garcia of The Death Riders
The match begins with Brisco knocking down Garcia. Brisco slaps Garcia and stomps him in the corner and Garcia gets to his feet. Brisco then chops Garcia and Garcia goes to the corner. Garcia then grabs Brisco and Brisco backs him into the corner. Brisco then knocked Garcia out of the ring with a hard uppercut. Brisco then heads to the apron while high-fiving a fan, but Garcia kicks him and sends him into the barricade. Garcia then hits Brisco with a boot to the face, but Brisco recovers and slams Garcia to the floor. Brisco then jumps over the ropes and nails Garcia. Brisco is on the apron. Marina Shafir then created a distraction, causing Brisco to fall. Garcia then lay down on a pinwheel like Brisco’s swing.
Garcia then hits Brisco with a swinging neckbreaker. Garcia then blocks Jay Driller, but Brisco takes him down with a hammer. Brisco then hits Garcia with a Death Valley Driver and follows up with a sliding elbow to the face. Marina Shafir then interferes again and straddles Brisco on the top rope. Fans then screamed at Shafir, but the referee did not send her to the back. Garcia then hits Brisco with a top rope superplex, lifts him into the turnbuckle and hits another superplex. Garcia then goes for a third top rope superplex but hits it. Garcia then rolled through, but it was too much as Brisco countered the next move with a driver.
Both men then exchange shots. Garcia then attacked Brisco with a series of boots to the face and open chops to the chest. Brisco then responded with a lariat on Garcia. Shafir then stopped Jay Driller’s attempt and the referee ultimately threw her out. With the referee’s back turned, Wheeler Yuta enters the ring and kicks Brisco in the groin. Garcia follows up with a piledriver, but Brisco kicks out at two. Brisco then counters the Dragon Tamer with a rollup. Garcia then broke the hold and Brisco hit the Jay Driller on Garcia for the win.

After the game, Tony Schiavone will use up his current card for a three-hour holiday bash this Wednesday. Conglomeration then enters the ring and celebrates with Mark Brisco as the show draws to a close.
