WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi has been gaining noticeable recognition within WWE, and he’s recently expressed his strong desire to join the main roster. WWE is currently in a phase of bringing in fresh talent, and many believe Oba Femi is next in line for a promotion. In an interview with Peter Rosenberg on "Cheap Heat," Femi was asked if he ever imagined facing a WWE heavyweight like Brock Lesnar. He confidently stated that he feels ready and worthy to compete on the main roster.

He said, "Of course, I’ve thought about a match with Lesnar. Especially now that I believe in myself and know I’m good enough to be there. At this moment, I’m definitely main roster material, no doubt about it. However, I’ve been patient and focused on the tasks set before me. Sometimes, when we focus too much on what’s at the end of the tunnel, we can get lost and struggle with the present. So, I’ve been committed to staying on the right path as best as I can."

Femi recently battled Cody Rhodes in the main event on Saturday Night, though the match ended in a no-contest due to interference from Drew McIntyre. He also shared some dream opponents he would love to face, including Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes, emphasizing that these match ideas have been on his mind for a long time while he works hard to stay steady in his career.

Having joined WWE in 2021, the two-time NXT Champion is yet to make his debut on WWE Raw or SmackDown.
