AEW’s MJF Makes a Bold Comeback in a New Wrestling Promotion

2 Min Read

MJF has made his official comeback to AEW, marking his sole return for now outside the promotion where he has gained major spotlight. On this week’s AEW Dynamite, MJF reappeared, positioning himself strongly in the championship scene leading up to the "World’s End" event set for December 27th.

During AEW’s final pay-per-view of 2025, Nick Nemeth, previously known as Dolph Ziggler, challenged MJF’s involvement at "World’s End," with MJF also slated for another return early next year. Limitless Wrestling tweeted that MJF will make a one-night-only appearance on January 26th in Lewiston, Maine, calling it "The King is Back." This marks his first return to Limitless Wrestling since his last appearance in September 2019, where he lost the Limitless World Championship to Anthony Greene.

Since rejoining AEW, MJF appears reinvigorated, though his last outing at AEW’s All Out event resulted in a loss against Mark Brisco in a Tables and Taxes match.

Fan Take: This announcement is big news for AEW fans as it not only reinforces MJF’s key role in AEW’s championship picture but also bridges his presence back to independent wrestling, showcasing his versatility. His crossover appeal and continued momentum can significantly raise the profile of both AEW and the broader wrestling community.
