WWE RAW Results (12/22/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens with a commentary that welcomes us and reveals the mystery of the masked man and that it is an Austin theory.

Paul Heyman then told Bronson Reed and Bron Breaker to get warm because he had a fever. Paul then goes to Austin Theory and wants to know what the heck he’s doing. Theory then says that she wanted Paul to know why he was wearing a mask. And the theory was that he wanted everyone to feel his actions before seeing his face. Then Theory says he made the wrong decision. The theory is that he got comfortable and got hurt. Then Theory says he saw the group. The theory is that instead of waiting, you receive. Then the theory says he takes it. And Theory says he would love to help with tonight’s match. Paul then says that’s interesting, very interesting, and leaves.

Now let’s take a look at what happened last week with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Asuka, and Kairi Sane. We then see Leah and IYO behind them, but Leah says she cannot protect IYO from Kairi and Asuka and asks her to stay behind. Rhea then tells IYO to stay safe and hugs IYO.

Rhea Ripley then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Asuka and Kairi Sane.

Single match: “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley vs. Kabuki Warriors WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion “Tomorrow’s Empress” Asuka

The match starts with Rea hitting a dropkick and punches, but the referee drags Rea out of the corner. Rhea then hits Asuka with a few beers. Asuka misses a kick and Rhea gets a takedown and fires a flurry of punches. Furthermore, Rea hits a series of punches and headbutts. Asuka then escapes Riptide and goes to the floor. Rhea then sends Asuka into the ringside barrier. Both women then return to the ring and Kairi Sane distracts Rhea so Asuka can hit a dropkick. Rhea is then sent into the ringside barrier.

Asuka then chokes Rhea with the ropes. Asuka then hits a knee into the corner. Rhea then escapes from a bulldog, but Asuka hits a pop-up knee for a near fall. Asuka then hits a Kawada kick and a back heel kick. Rea also throws punches and backfists. Furthermore, Rea hits a series of punches and face busters. Rhea then backslides for a near fall. Rhea then hits a back elbow, and while the referee is distracted, Kairi trips Rhea. Asuka then hits a baseball slider. Asuka hits a series of kicks to the chest. Rhea then blocks a kick and punches Asuka. Rhea then hits a short arm clothesline followed by a back heel kick and a face plant. Rhea then hits a running thrust kick for a near fall. Rhea goes for Riptide again, but Asuka hits an armdrag for a near fall. Asuka then hits Rhea with a series of blows, but Rhea hits a roundhouse kick.

Rhea and Asuka then exchange forearms. Rhea then blocks a kick, takes Asuka to the mat, and applies a Prism Lock. Asuka then counters with an ankle lock, a leg trap German suplex, and a near fall kick. Asuka then goes for the Asuka Lock, but Rhea hits a snapmare. Rhea then hits Asuka with a boot in the corner. Asuka then stops Rhea on the turnbuckle. Asuka then goes for a superplex, but Rhea escapes and shoves Asuka’s head against the turnbuckle and follows up with a thrust kick. Rhea then hits an electric chair blow to the face for a near fall.

Rhea then goes for the Razor’s Edge, but Asuka escapes and counters with a sunset flip for a near fall. Rhea then misses a boot into the ropes and Asuka puts her on the apron. Rhea then catches Asuka with a flying hip and Asuka hits a German suplex on the apron. Asuka then goes up top and hits a kick. Rhea hits another knee and knocks Asuka to the floor. Rhea then hits Asuka with a cannonball from the apron. Rhea then goes up top and Asuka distracts the referee. Sane then drops Rhea into the turnbuckle. IYO then comes out and takes care of Sanae. Sane then hits a leg sweep on IYO on the apron. Rhea then checked the IYO and Asuka got a rollup for the win.

The winner of the single match is Kabuki Warriors’ WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion “Tomorrow’s Empress” Asuka!

After the match, Rhea checks on IYO, who was attacked by Sane.

We then head to the backside where Bronson Reed and Bron Breaker are talking and Paul Heyman shows up. They want to know what’s going on and Paul mentions a theory. Paul then asks who they were 18 months ago. Then Paul said you’re beating Roman Reigns in the main event in Australia. Then Paul said, “Where have you been?” Paul then tells you that you put your life on the line to defeat Seth Rollins and that you will be the main event on Netflix’s RAW anniversary show. Paul then said someone had a vision for you and he was selective. Paul then said he had a vision for Austin’s theory. Paul then says Austin and Reed will face CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. Then Paul said either he executes that vision or you kick Austin Theory’s ass out of WWE. Reed then says he has this and Bron says he has Reed’s back.

Maxine Dupri is then seen walking through the backstage area. Now let’s look at how audiences treated Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch then comes down to the ring. Becky starts by saying that there’s no way this is going to be a celebration for Maxine. Becky then says that she is not the rightful champion. Becky then claimed that she was the real Women’s Intercontinental Champion because there was corrupt refereeing and illegal interference. Becky then says she knows everyone is angry about this corruption. Becky then says that she knows some powerful people who would be the same if Adam Pearce didn’t do anything. Then Becky says she has the best lawyer. Becky then said she went to the biggest wig on Netflix and they told her to go to Michigan. Becky then becomes frustrated with the lack of rapids in the city and says she was told she would have to take matters into her own hands.

Maxine Dupri then interrupts and she goes down to the ring. Maxine begins by saying she’s heard Becky’s story. Maxine then admitted that Sports Illustrated was right and that Becky is the best of all time. Then Maxine says she’s new. Maxine then says that the rookie beat the greatest player of all time. Maxine then said that she had won three times. Maxine then says that Becky has a chance to get the title back and that she can take it anytime, anywhere.

Maxine then said she was going to train to make sure she remained the champion. Maxine then asks Becky to admit that she is the champion. Maxine tells Becky to take it on the chin and admit it, you don’t look like the best ever at the moment. Then Maxine said it looked like you were past your best years. Becky then slaps Maxine and slams her into the mat. Becky then takes Matt away and punches Maxine in the back of the head. Maxine then stands up and puts Becky in an ankle lock. Becky then taps out and Maxine releases the hold.

Next, let’s take a look at what happened last week with Nikki Bella. Jevon Evans and Adam Pearce were then seen, with Pearce wishing him luck in his match against Rajo and saying he wanted to talk to Evans about his future after the match. Evans then leaves and Stephanie Vaquel shows up to talk to Pierce. Pierce asks Stephanie how he can resolve his relationship with her, Nikki, and Raquel. Then Stephanie said she wanted both. Pearce then said the match could take place on RAW next week.

After that, we receive comments from the Usos. They say they are back in the tag division. He then won against The New Day last week and says he will do what he needs to do next week against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. And they say you have a title and a goal. And they say they’re the best team ever.

Los Americanos then go down to the ring for their next match of the night, followed by Jevon Evans.

Single match: “Young OG” Jevon Evans vs. American Ray of The Americans

The match started with both men locking up, Rayo tightening up with a side headlock and a shoulder tackle, but Evans hit a shoulder tackle of his own. Evans then hits a dropkick. Evans tightens up with a side headlock and Rayo hits a back elbow and struts. Rayo then tightens the wristlock and hits a knee drop to the arm. Rajo then hits a chop in the corner. Rayo then locks in an armbar. Evans then hits a kick and hits a slingshot head scissors takedown. Rayo then hangs onto the ropes and backdrops Evans to the floor. Rayo then misses a pescado as Evans moves. Evans then hits a plancha.

Evans hits a kick from the apron and Rayo hits an armdrag off the turnbuckle. Rayo then hits a kick and forearm. Rayo then hits a half nelson and a chin bar. Evans and Rayo then trade punches. Evans then gains the advantage and Rayo lands a punch. Evans then hits a flying boot. Evans then hits Superman with punches and kicks. Evans then hits a suplex and goes to the apron for a springboard forearm for a near fall.

Grande then gets on the apron and Evans goes for a springboard move, but Bravo and Rayo drop Evans on the top rope. Rajo then hits a Michinoku driver for a nearfall. Rayo then hits a kick to the head. Rayo then slaps Evans and Evans hits a thrust kick. Furthermore, Rajo hits a series of kicks. Evans then hits a rebound roundhouse kick for a near fall. Evans then goes for a springboard cutter, but Rayo hits a forearm. Rayo then missed a moonsault and stood up. Evans then hit a double jump cutter for the win.

The winner of the singles match is “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans!

After the match, Grande and Bravo chase Evans, but Evans avoids contact and runs to the floor.

Next, Kathy Kelly heads to the back with AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. She asks them about their title match against The Usos next week. According to AJ, they defeated Judgment Day and were considered the strongest. Lee then says that he has defeated the War Raiders and the New Day. Then Lee says he will bring fire. And AJ says they’re better than the best as long as they have the title and they’ll get it next week.

Bron Breaker then cuts a promo and talks about how he went to the ring and cut him in half now that the real CM Punk is back. Bron then says he took the title and held it high. Bron then says it was everything he thought it would be. Then Bron said it was easy. Bron then said that when he spit out the line about his wife, you think they were having a personal vendetta. Bron then says you don’t care about your wife or anyone else. Bron then says he will take care of himself. Bron then said, will it be a watered-down 2025 version of CM Punk, or will it be the best in the world? Bron then says that the outcome will be the same either way. Then Bron says he can’t avoid it. Bronn then says that he is a mountain he cannot climb, a dog he cannot outrun. Bron then tells Punk to save all his money because after January 5th, a dollar won’t be worth anyone.

Nikki Bella then interrupted Corey Graves and Michael Cole talking about the Austin Theory. Nikki says she has something to say. Then Nikki says everyone has forgotten who she is. Then Nicky says he’s a legend and a Hall of Famer. Nikki then says that she is a former champion. Nikki then says this is what a champion looks like. Then Nikki said, how do we know what a champion looks like? Then Nicky said you were rooting for the Lions. Nikki then says that she wants the Lions to be as strong as the Eagles. Nikki said what about Ohio State. Then Nikki said you were looking at the stars of this division. Then Nikki says there’s a reason she came back. Nikki then says she destroyed Raquel Rodriguez’s face last week and will destroy Stephanie’s title reign next week. Nikki then says that Stephanie is big in the ring, but she’s big everywhere. And Nicki says the title should be around the waist of a true global superstar. Then Nikki says it’s her.

Bayley and Lyla Valkyrie then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan.

Single match: Bayley vs. Judgment Day’s “Prodigy” Roxanne Perez

The match starts with a lockup between both women, Perez pushes Bayley into the ropes, and Perez pushes Bayley on the break. Perez then shoves Bayley again, but Bayley hits a belly-to-belly suplex for a nearfall. Perez then goes to the floor and talks to Liv. Perez then evades Bayley on the floor. Bayley then catches Perez with a suicide dive and she goes for a driver on the floor, but Perez escapes and she clips Bayley. Perez then landed a series of kicks to the hamstring. Bayley then hits the Hotshot into the turnbuckle. Perez then clamped Bayley’s leg against the ring post several times.

Then Perez wraps his leg around the ropes. Perez then hit a running uppercut into the corner followed by a side Russian leg sweep. Perez then closes with a step-over toe hold. Bayley then hits a drop toe hold and escapes. Perez then blocks a backheel kick and Bayley hits a knee. Bayley then hits a clothesline and a Thesz press, followed by a flurry of punches. Raquel Rodriguez then appears at ringside. Bayley then hoists Perez onto her shoulders and hits a satellite side slam. Lyla then kicks Raquel and Liv drives Lyla to the announce desk.

Perez then hits La Mistica, a handspring knee drop to the back of the neck for a near fall. Bayley then kicks Perez away and drives her into the turnbuckle. Bayley then hits a sunset flip buckle bomb for a near fall. She then gets on the apron and tries to enter the ring as Liv trips Bayley. Perez then removes the turnbuckle pad and Bayley is sent into the pad. Perez then covers Bayley, but Raquel distracts the referee. Perez then yells at Raquel and Liv. Lyla then hits a crossbody on Liv and Raquel. Bayley then hits a Saito suplex on Perez. Lyla then slaps Bailey and tries to motivate her. Bayley then loses it and she punches Perez and more punches send her into the turnbuckle. Bayley then hits a double knee strike in the corner. Bayley then nailed an elbow drop off the turnbuckle for the win.

Bayley wins the singles match!

Michael Cole and Corey Graves then address the championship match announced for January 5th.

Then we head to the back and Bronson Reed is in the locker room and Austin Theory shows up and asks what the plan is. Reid then says this is the big leagues and he should follow his example. The theory then says he will start the game since he is not Reid’s kid and can follow his lead.

GUNTHER is then seen walking through the backstage area.

Judgment Day is then seen in the clubhouse and they argue. Roxanne then blames Raquel for what happened and Raquel yells at them for not helping her with Nikki last week. Liv then says they’re just trying to help, they’re family and that’s what families do. Then Roxanne says she wants to know what everyone is doing. Then Rachel says she doesn’t need this. Raquel then says she needs to prepare for the title match and leaves.

Gunter then descends into the ring. Gunther starts saying he shouldn’t be angry. Then Gunther says he should be mad at the guy who tapped out like a little shit. Gunther then prepares to leave the ring, but CM Punk’s music plays and Punk lowers himself into the ring. Punk then gets in Gunther’s face and we are left staring. Gunter then left the ring smiling and laughing. Gunther then passes Rey Mysterio as he enters the ring for his next match. They then exchanged a few words and Gunter stepped back laughing.

Gunter was then seen walking behind him and he looked happy. He then walks up to AJ Styles. AJ then asks if he doesn’t know when to shut up, and GUNTHER says apparently he doesn’t.

And on next week’s RAW, it was announced that Stefani Vaquel will defend the Women’s World Title against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez in a triple threat match, and AJ Styles and Dragon Lee will defend the World Tag Team Title against The Usos.

Vision then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night.

Tag match: WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Best in the World” CM Punk and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio vs. The Vision (“The Tribal Thief” “Big” Bronson Reed and Austin Theory)

The match starts with Theory and Rey, with Theory hitting Rey with an Irish whip followed by punches and a clothesline on Rey. Theory then hits a backbreaker for a near fall. Rey then hits a kick and Punk tags in. Punk then hits a forearm to the back and Rey and Punk hit Theory in the corner with punches and kicks. Then Punk hits an Irish whip and Theory hits an elbow from the corner. Theory then hits a series of elbows. Punk then goes for the GTS, but Theory escapes and goes to the apron and hits a slingshot rolling dropkick.

Reed then tags in and headbutts Punk, and Irish slams Punk sternum first into the turnbuckle. Reed then hits an elbow drop and Theory tags in. Theory then slams a boot into Punk’s chest and Punk stomps on his hand. Theory then hits an elbow to the top of the head and applies a reverse chinlock. Theory then locks him in a side headlock and gets a takedown. Theory then hits a clothesline and gives Rey some words. Reed then tags in and hits an elbow drop and snapmare. Reed then works on the neck.

Reed then hits a headbutt and punches. Reed then hits a back senton for a near fall. Reed then locks him in a reverse chin lock. Reed then hits a forearm and a kick to the chest. Reed then stands on Punk’s back. Reed then hits a headbutt. Punk then throws a flurry of punches, but Reed hits a slam. Reed then misses a back senton when Punk moves. Rey then tags in and knocks Theory off the apron. Rey then hits some forearms on Reed but he gets back to his feet. Reed then catches Rey from the ropes and carries Rey over his shoulders. Rey then hits a sunset flip and Reed tries to block it with a sheet splash but Rey moves. Rey then hits a seated splash for a nearfall. Reed then pushes Rey into the corner but Reed misses a splash. Theory makes another tag and Rey hits a head scissors takedown. Rey then hits Theory with a seating senton from the apron.

Theory then chokes Rey with the ropes. Reed is then seen punching Rey from behind during a commercial break. Theory then chokes Rey on the ropes and Reed hits a kick to Rey. Theory then catapults the bottom rope and Rey falls to the floor. Theory then sends Rey into the announce desk and returns to the ring. Theory then attacks Ray. Reed then tags in and punches Rey in the midsection. Reed then hits an accordion slam and a splash for a near fall. Reed then goes for a delayed vertical suplex and hits it. Theory tags in and kicks Ray.

Theory then kicks and punches Ray. Rey then hits an enzuigiri and both men are down. Theory then blocks a tag from Rey and Theory hits a suplex for a near fall. Theory goes for a slam, but Rey escapes and hits a bulldog. Punk then tags in, punches Theory and hits a leg lariat. Punk then hits a running knee into the corner and a second one. Punk then hits a bulldog on Theory and he signals for the GTS. Theory then escapes with a flurry of elbows and Reed makes the tag. Punk hits a clothesline on Reed but he doesn’t move. Reed then sends Punk into the corner and Punk hits a boot.

Punk then goes up top and hits a flying clothesline. Punk then takes a near fall. Rey then hits a headscissors on Reed and sends Reed into the ropes. Theory then tags in and clotheslines Rey as Rey goes for the 619. Theory then knocks Punk off the apron. Rey then sends Theory to the ropes and hits a 619 and a slingshot splash, but Reed breaks the cover. Reed then hits an elbow on Rey. Punk then sends Reed into the announce desk with a suicide dive and over the ringside barrier. Rey then hits a kick on Theory and Theory goes up top. Theory then swung him into the ropes and straddled Rey, who then hit the Curb Stomp for the win.

The winner of the tag team match is The Vision (“The Tribal Thief” “Big” Bronson Reed & Austin Theory)!

After the match, Punk chases Theory but gets out of the ring. Bron Breaker then tries to ambush Punk, but Punk stops him. Theory then goes after Punk, but Punk clotheslines Theory over the top rope. Punk turns around and gets hit with a spear. Breaker then towers over Punk as the show draws to a close.
