WWE Men’s Speed Tournament: Thrilling Results and Highlights Unveiled!

2 Min Read

Tavion Heights and Lexis King have both advanced one step closer to claiming the WWE Speed Championship. The recent speed tournament began on Tuesday’s WWE NXT, featuring Tavion Heights competing against WWE ID talent Eli Knight. Knight started strong with a dropkick that sent Heights to the floor, followed by a springboard moonsault. Back in the ring, Knight maintained his offensive streak with moves like a frog splash, a double back heel kick, and a second moonsault, all resisted by Heights. As Knight attempted a third moonsault, Heights dodged and capitalized with a belly-to-belly suplex to secure the win with just under a minute remaining.

In another match, it took nearly three minutes to determine the victor between Lexis King and Chase U leader Andre Chase. Chase tried to gain control with a Russian leg sweep and applied an armbar, but King refused to submit. Chase let go, only to be met with an elbow strike to the face from King. King then inflicted further damage with a double boot and clinched the victory with a Coronation (Swinging Neckbreaker).

Following their wins, Heights and King are set to face each other in the finals of the tournament on next week’s NXT episode. Currently, Jasper Troy, the winner of WWE LFG Season 1, holds the WWE Speed Championship after El Grande Americano stripped the title last month.

Fan Take: This tournament showcases the incredible agility and resilience of WWE’s rising stars, highlighting the evolution of fast-paced wrestling. For fans, the final showdown between Heights and King promises thrilling action that could redefine the speed division’s future.
