Matt Hardy has officially confirmed that he and his brother Jeff have renewed their contracts with TNA Wrestling. In his podcast, “Matt Hardy’s Extreme Life,” he put to rest any doubts about their contract situation, making it clear that their future with the company is secured.

In one of his well-known “Matt Facts” segments, Hardy addressed the rumors directly, revealing that the deal was finalized partly due to a new TV agreement. He explained, “Jeff and I have re-signed with TNA. We’ve been in discussions for some time, and once we learned the new TV deal was nearly complete, we were close to finalizing everything. The deal ensures we’re in a better financial position, and we love being part of TNA. This was the best choice for us, allowing for exciting opportunities and a vision for the future.”

Hardy also highlighted the advantages of their recent contract, especially emphasizing TNA’s ongoing partnership with WWE. Being considered “legacy acts” with WWE might open doors for crossover appearances, which is an exciting prospect. “Since we have a partnership with WWE, there’s a chance to participate in WWE events too,” he stated, “which is fantastic because of our WWE heritage.”

Moreover, Matt shared his aspiration to transition into a hybrid role where he stays active in the ring but also contributes creatively behind the scenes. “I feel it’s time to work more in the office and help shape TNA, AMC, and everything else while still wrestling,” he said. “I’d like to pitch ideas and help guide upcoming talent; there are many young wrestlers I want to push in new directions.”
