AEW World End PPV Results (2025/12/27): Live Match Latest Information and Highlights
AEW World’s End begins with pyro firing from the stage and a video package centered around the growing tension between Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada.
Konosuke Takeshita then steps down to the ring for the first PPV match, followed by Kazuchika Okada.
Continental Classic Semi-Final Match: Don Callis Family’s AEW Unified Champion and AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada vs. Don Callis Family’s IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita
The match began with both men staring at each other, and chants of “Holy ST” and AEW could be heard from the crowd. Okada then holds out his hand to Takeshita, but Takeshita shows his sportsmanship and slaps his hand despite the difference in position. Both men lock up and Okada squeezes Takeshita’s arm. Takeshita then reversed and put pressure on Okada. The exchange forces both men to the ropes, forcing a break from the referee. Both men then complied and returned to the center of the ring for another exchange. Okada then takes Takeshita to the mat and finishes with a toehold. Takeshita then started to fight back and Okada got a side headlock. Takeshita then struggles to his feet, but when Okada takes him to the ropes, Okada takes a break and drives Takeshita into the gut.
Back in the middle, both men pick up the pace and Takeshita narrowly avoids a rainmaker lariat and hits a clothesline on the ropes to send Okada to the canvas. Okada then tries a head scissors for the arm, but Okada manages to shake it off and goes out of the ring. Takeshita then follows, but Okada catches him in a drop toe hold and Takeshita is sent to the barricade for the effort before being slammed face-first into a chair. He then suplexes Takeshita to the floor and sends Takeshita into the barricade before taking the fight back to the ring. Okada goes for a cover, but Takeshita gets up just as he’s about to fall. Okada then teases Takeshita and offers him a free shot, and Okada drops Takeshita to the mat with a DDT.
Okada then goes for a cover, but only gets a two count. Takeshita drops Okada with a brainbuster before they both back up and start attacking again. He then puts Okada on the ropes, and Okada ducks a clothesline, but gets hit with a hurricanrana and is sent flying out of the box. Takeshita then dives for a drop. He quickly brought Okada back into the ring and stopped the referee’s count.
Takeshita then charges out of the corner, knocks Okada down with a boot, and slams him into the canvas with an exploder suplex. He then goes for Okada’s neck, but Okada targets Takeshita’s face and forces a break. Back in the corner, Okada hits Takeshita with a backpack neckbreaker and an elbow drop from the top rope. He then flips both the audience and Takeshita. Takeshita then stands up and delivers a powerful blow to Okada. Both men then move back and forth, rocking Okada and causing him to fall to his knees. Okada stands up and the two fight back and forth again, but Okada drops Takeshita to his knees with an uppercut. He goes for a Tombstone Piledriver, but Takeshita counters with a modified Tombstone and a wheelbarrow suplex. He tries to get Okada back to his feet, but he is caught by Rainmaker and hit with a reverse lariat and Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall.
Next, Takeshita goes up to the corner and goes for a power drive knee, but Okada blocks it and hits a rainmaker lariat, but Takeshita absorbs it and appears unfazed. He then hits a few forearms, but gets hit with a rainmaker lariat and drops him to the mat. Okada then grabs his wrist and goes for a second one, which Takeshita brings to his feet, but Takeshita counters with a headbutt. Okada fights back with a German suplex and goes for a rainmaker lariat, but Takeshita counters with a rollup for a two count.
Okada returns with a dropkick, but the Rainmaker Lariat is blocked again, and Takeshita hits a power driving knee and covers, allowing Okada to kick out. Takeshita gets to his feet, but gets knocked off as Okada heads for the corner and pulls out a driver from under the turnbuckle pad. Takeshita then landed a knee to the back and went for a rainmaker lariat of his own, but Okada dodged it, hid the driver out of the referee’s sight, and hit Takeshita with a rainmaker lariat for the win.
The winner of the Continental Classic semi-finals is Kazuchika Okada, AEW Unified Champion and AEW Continental Champion of the Don Callis Family, “The Rainmaker”!
After the match, Okada celebrates his victory with Callis on the ramp.
We then get a video package hyping up the other semi-final match where Jon Moxley takes on Kyle Fletcher to see who will face Okada in the finals of the Continental Classic.
Kyle Fletcher then makes his way down to the ring for the next match on PPV, followed by Jon Moxley.
Continental Classic Semi-Final Match: Don Callis Family’s “Protostar” Kyle Fletcher vs. Death Riders’ Jon Moxley
The match starts with both men taking some time before locking up. Fletcher then drove Moxley into the corner and called for a break. Another lockup ends with Fletcher going after Moxley’s hand, and Moxley shakes off and hits a hard chop. Fletcher then left the ring to catch his breath, returning to beat the referee’s count before leaving the ring again. Moxley then unloads on Fletcher outside. Moxley then slams Fletcher into the announce desk, but Fletcher hits a scoop slam on Moxley in the ring.
After some back and forth, the action spills outward again. Moxley then sends Fletcher into the barricade and follows up with a big boot, sending Fletcher into the barricade. Fletcher then fights back and slams Moxley into the barricade. Fletcher then hits an elbow on Moxley. Fletcher then jams Moxley’s leg between the ring post and the steel steps. Fletcher then hits a running dropkick on Moxley to gain the upper hand.
Back in the ring, Fletcher continues to attack Moxley’s left leg, and when Fletcher says there’s only five minutes left, the referee intervenes for a count. Fletcher then takes Moxley to the middle and goes for a leglock, but Moxley manages to escape. Fletcher then leaves the ring as he is dealing with dental issues, which gives Moxley the opportunity to dive. He then gets caught in the ropes and almost takes as much damage. Moxley then sends Fletcher into the ring, but is dealing with pain, which allows Moxley to force Fletcher into a near fall.
Moxley stands up looking for a clothesline, but Fletcher barely moves and taunts Moxley. Moxley then fights back with another clothesline and slams the third into the ropes, sending Fletcher to the mat. This causes him to twist his ankle and he prefers it on the mat himself. Both men then get back to their feet and exchange blows. Moxley sends Fletcher into the corner where he goes for a mounted punch, but they go back and forth until Fletcher drops Moxley out of bounds. Fletcher then goes for a kick from the apron, but it’s blocked, and when Moxley gets on the apron, Fletcher hits a thrust kick, setting him up for a brainbuster into the hardest part of the ring.
Moxley is dazed and confused on the floor as Fletcher slowly rises to get back in the ring and asks the referee to start a count. Moxley then narrowly returned to the ring and hit Fletcher’s Ligerbomb to get a two count before getting a nine count. Fletcher quickly switches to a one-legged crab position and focuses on Moxley’s ankle, keeping him in the center of the ring. He then stretches it back and Moxley puts him in a bulldog choke. Fletcher is trapped, but finally manages to escape and goes for an ankle lock. He then settles into a grapevine hold as well, and Moxley wiggles his way towards the ropes, inch by inch, eventually reaching the bottom rope for the break.
Moxley then starts fighting back and Fletcher sends Moxley to the corner, but Moxley bites and escapes. Fletcher goes for Moxley again, but an avalanche cutthroat suplex sends them both to the mat, with Fletcher taking the brunt of the damage. Moxley then hits the ropes for a Curb Stomp and Fletcher struggles to his feet. He struggles, but manages to cover Fletcher. Fletcher then counters with a crucifix and scores a 2 of his own. After that, both men went back and forth, and Fletcher dropped Moxley, but only got a one count. Fletcher goes to the corner and Moxley gets fired up and hits Moxley with a Sheerdrop Brainbuster. Fletcher then goes for a cover, but Moxley kicks out.
Both men then slowly get back to their feet, but Moxley flips over and goes defiant before Fletcher gets Moxley back on his feet. He then heads to the corner, seemingly looking for something, presumably a driver, but to no avail as Okada throws it under the ring first. He then looked to the next corner before turning his attention back to Moxley, who gave him a small load for two. He then stands up and hits a Death Rider DDT, but this only gets a 2 count. Fletcher then fought back, only to receive a second Death Rider DDT. Fletcher then tries to get back up, but Moxley puts him in a bulldog choke, knocking Fletcher out, and the referee calls for the bell.
Continental Classic semi-final winner Jon Moxley of Death Riders!
After the match, Fletcher woke up protesting the finish, and in his anger blindfolded Moxley with a chop block and left the ring. Moxley then regains his strength and walks away from the cheering crowd.
We then get a video package highlighting the recent rivalry between FTR and the Bang Bang Gang leading up to the Chicago Street Fight for the tag titles at World’s End.

The match started with a brawl between all four men that spilled out of bounds, with Robinson narrowly avoiding having his hand crushed by Harwood’s chair shot. They then fight the crowd as Gunn is sent to the ramp with a suplex on Wheeler. After a back-and-forth battle, Robinson slams Harwood into a steel pole, but Wheeler trips him right after. Wheeler then slams Gunn into a trash can before Harwood slams him headfirst into a trash can. Robinson then pushes Wheeler onto Harwood. Robinson then gets a two count on Harwood after a frog splash. He then hits Harwood with some strikes. Robinson then hits a spinebuster on Harwood for a two count.
Wheeler then sends Gunn into the iron staircase. Big Stoke then hits him repeatedly with a kendo stick. Gunn then blocks a kendo stick shot and slams Wheeler with a trashcan lid. Furthermore, FTR targets Robinson’s legs with a chop block. They then delivered multiple blows to Robinson’s left knee. Robinson then sends Harwood into Wheeler and rolls Harwood up for a two count. Robinson then knocks Harwood down, but Wheeler hits him in the left knee with a steel chair. Harwood then applies a figure four leglock as Wheeler stomps on his knee.
Robinson then crawled towards the ropes, only to be pulled away by Wheeler and Gunn reeled in. Wheeler then sent him out of play and Gunn saw an opportunity to dive only to dodge and instead Wheeler crashed through the table. Robinson then finally gets to the ropes, but there is no rope break as this is a street fight. Gunn then grabbed a fire extinguisher that he brought into the ring and used it on Harwood to force a break. He then takes Harwood down hard for a cover, but Big Stoke attacks the referee to stop the count. Robinson then manages to fight back, but Stoke stops using the chair and is sent flying onto the table, falling on top of Robinson. Back in the ring, Robinson is hit with an FTR Shatter Machine, but Gunn barely breaks the cover before the three count.
Gunn then went for the Famouser, but Harwood hit him with a piledriver instead, and Harwood only got a two count. FTR then hits a stuffed piledriver into one of the belts for the win.

Darby Allin then makes his way to the ring for his next match on the PPV, followed by Gabe Kidd.

The match started with Kidd quickly sliding into the ring and being hit by a dropkick from Allin, but Kidd quickly gained the advantage by knocking Allin off the top rope and sending him crashing to the floor. The Kid then continues the damage, sending Allin into the barricade before taunting the crowd. He then charges at Allin, but Allin moves out of the way, causing him to crash into the guardrail instead. The referee then starts a count, but quickly stops the count as Allin slides into the ring and goes for a dive, sending Kidd back into the barricade.
Allin then returns to the ring to beat the count again and returns in pursuit of Kidd, who is sent into the timekeeper table. The Kid then entered the ring and mocked the crowd some more before following Allin back and bringing him back into the ring, where Allin was seen busting open. Buck’s rake then connects with a code red that sends Kidd to the canvas, but all he gets is two. Allin then goes up top and goes for a coffin drop, but can’t capitalize on it before Kidd rolls out of bounds.
Allin got up and went on top, then hit a coffin drop that sent Kidd to the floor. He then brings Kidd back in the ring and covers him, but Kidd kicks out and tries to get back to his feet, but Allin hits a Scorpion Deathdrop. He then chases after Kid and applies a Scorpion Deathlock as Kid struggles to break free. Allin then collapses in pain and has to let go, and Kidd stands up and grabs Allin’s wrists for a few headbutts, followed by a lariat and a jumping piledriver. Kid then goes for a cover, but Allin kicks out in the nick of time and counters Kid’s sleeper hold to prevent the win.

Shafir appears next, and while Cassidy and the two men put their hands in their pockets, Shafir hits an inside thigh kick and a sweep that knocks Cassidy down hard. Furthermore, Cassidy dodges a kick and stands up, sending Shafir flying out of the area before Yuta can get involved. Cassidy then fights off Yuta and Garcia, but Shafir returns as the Death Riders take control. Strong then appears in the ring, only to be violently dropped by the Death Rider. They then helped Strong to his feet and prepared for his wife, Shafir, to violently slash Strong in the chest.
