As contract season approaches for New Japan Pro Wrestling, another key member of the Bullet Club Wardogs, Clark Connors, is nearing the end of his deal.

According to Fightful Select, Connors’ contract is set to expire in January 2026. The report mentions that Connors, who hasn’t competed since November 2, is among several wrestlers in New Japan whose futures are uncertain as the new year draws near.

“Connors’ contract is scheduled to expire at the end of January 2026.” Additionally, he is involved in an ongoing review of talent contracts within the organization, as reported by Fightful.

This situation mirrors that of fellow Bullet Club War Dogs member David Finlay, whose own contract is also reportedly ending. Like Finlay, Connors may be exploring options, especially as U.S.-based promotions show interest.

Although New Japan wishes to retain both talents, it’s unclear whether Connors plans to re-sign or test the free agency waters.

“In fact, many New Japan Pro Wrestling wrestlers worked without a contract for several months in 2025, only to be re-signed on one-year contracts later.” Notably, “Others were signed through the January period.”

While fans often assume that all New Japan contracts expire in January, this isn’t entirely accurate. Some wrestlers have negotiated different terms or continued competing without formal contracts until arrangements were finalized.

With Connors sidelined since November and Finlay drawing outside interest, New Japan Pro Wrestling could see significant changes in their roster, particularly within the Bullet Club War Dogs.
