WWE Saturday Night Main Event Results (1/24/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with Stephanie McMahon greeting us and she tells us that Joe Tessitore is stuck at the airport in Detroit. Stephanie says in French are you ready? Stephanie welcomes everyone to the main event on Saturday night.
We then get a video highlighting last year’s Saturday Night Main Event and the show where Goldberg and John Cena retired. Then we go inside the Bell Center and see a large fireworks display.
Jacob Fatu was then seen walking through the backstage area and he cut a promo. Jacob says he’s locked up and Jacob says he’ll take care of Cody Rhodes tonight.
Jacob Fatu then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Cody Rhodes.
Single match: “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes vs. “Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu
The match begins with Fatu attacking Cody upon his entrance while he is on the turnbuckle. Fatu then backs Cody into the corner and Cody punches Fatu. Cody then knocked down the referee and Fatu hit Cody from behind. The referee then comes out and checks on the downed referee. Fatu then kicks Cody and Cody slams Fatu to the floor. Cody then does a suicide dive and Fatu hits a punch. Then an officer comes out and separates the two. Fatu then attacks security, goes up top and hits a multi-jump swanton on security, but Cody misses.
Fatu is then escorted to the rear. Cody then caught up with Fatu and sent him into the guardrail. Both men then fight back into the ring and Cody sends Fatu into the ring. Cody then clotheslines Fatu over the top rope to the floor. Cody then landed a suicide dive, sending Fatu flying over the announce desk. Cody then waited for Fatu to get back to his feet and clotheslined Fatu over the ringside fence and into the crowd. Cody then punches Fatu, who heads for the aisle. Fatu then sends Cody Inno into the dashboard. Cody then threw a punch at Fatu, who pushed away the officials who were doing their best to stop them. Cody then pushes a trash can at Fatu and he further tightens his security.
Fatu then hits a back body drop to the floor. Fatu then slams Cody to the floor. Fatu then tightens his security further and leaves. Cody then punched Fatu from behind and he punched Fatu. Fatu is then placed in a storage case. Cody then hits a forearm to the back and Fatu sends Cody into the seat. Cody then spit liquid in Fatu’s face and he punched him several times in the forearm. Then they move up the aisle. Cody then throws a punch and Fatu puts his thumb in the eye. Both men then enter the concourse. Fatu then sends Cody into the wall and punches him. Cody then throws a garbage can at Fatu, but misses and he hits a security guard. Cody throws out more trash cans. Fatu then hit a ulange through the table into the security guard. They then fight to the concession stand and Cody lands more punches.
Then they return to the seating area and throw lots of punches. Cody then throws more punches and Nick Aldis tries to talk sense into both men. Then they go down the aisle and Fatu throws a punch. Fatu fishes for Cody. Fatu then kicks Cody when he gets to the bottom of the aisle. Cody then gets on the ringside fence and Fatu headbutts the security guard. They then work on the case and throw the guard into the other guard. Cody then hits a headbutt and Drew knocks Fatu off the case through a table. Then Drew hits Cody with a low blow. Drew then hits a powerbomb through the table. Later, while Drew leaves, the authorities check on Cody and Fatu.
Singles match ends in no contest!
They then go to the back and Drew McIntyre grabs the title belt. Kathy Kelly then demands an explanation. Drew says it’s a statement. Then Drew says if you speak out, that’s what’s going to happen to you. McIntyre then charges.
Judgment Day then follows as IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley come down to the ring for the next match of the night.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: RHIYO (“The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley and “The Genius of the Sky” IYO SKY) (c) vs. The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan and “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez)
The match starts with IYO hitting a dropkick on Liv and Liv going for a slam, but Liv escapes and drags IYO to the mat. IYO then hits an Irish whip and Liv hits a back elbow. Perez also tags in and goes for a double suplex, but IYO escapes. IYO then hits a forearm and sends Perez’s leg into Liv. IYO then hits a handspring and a leg sweep. IYO then hits a dropkick on Perez. Liv then tries to drag Perez to the floor, but IYO pulls her back and Perez grabs the ring skirt. Then Liv drops IYO on the top rope and Perez hits a windmill punch but it barely misses. Perez then hits an Irish whip and an elbow. Liv then tags in and hits the Code Breaker. Perez then hits a side Russian leg sweep. Liv then nearly collapses.
Liv then hits a suplex and she endures for a second suplex. Liv then hits a third suplex and roundhouse kick for a near fall. Liv then kicks IYO in the ribs. Perez then tags in and kicks IYO to the middle. Perez then hits an elbow to the back of the neck. Perez then stands up his ankle to stop IYO’s momentum heading into the corner. Then Perez stomps on the ankle. IYO then kicks Perez away, but Perez hits an elbow drop to the back to stop IYO from making the tag. IYO then gets Victorol and hits a double stomp. Liv then tags in and she stops IYO, but IYO is able to reach Rhea. Rea then hits a short arm clothesline and a back heel kick. Rhea then hits a fallaway slam. Rhea then hits him with a flying boot on the side of the head for a near fall.
Rhea then uses Riptide, but Liv escapes. Rhea then blocks Codebreaker. Liv then hits a knee kick. Liv then escapes from Razor’s Edge and teams up with Perez. Rhea then slams Perez and headbutts Liv. Perez then screams and punches Rea. Rhea then drives Perez to the apron. Rhea then tries to superplex Perez back into the ring, but Perez hits a kick. Liv then tags in and knocks IYO off the apron. Perez then hits a rana off the turnbuckle and Liv hits the code breaker. Perez then hits an IYO with a suicide dive and Liv gets a near fall.
Rhea hits a kick to Liv. Liv then goes for a springboard armdrag, but Rhea pushes her away. Rhea hits a kick to Liv. Furthermore, Rare will team up with Razor’s Edge and IYO. Rhea then hits a razor’s edge and IYO hits a missile dropkick. Perez then breaks the cover. Perez then hits Rea with a series of forearms and a satellite head scissors takedown. IYO then hits a diving dropkick on Perez. Liv then moves and IYO misses a running knee into the turnbuckle. Later, Liv is hit by a cross bomb and almost collapses. More Irish whips from Liv and a tag from Perez. IYO hits a shotay on Liv, but Perez hits a kick. Perez then hits a sunset flip, but IYO hits a handspring to escape and hits a kick. IYO then goes up top and goes for a moonsault, but Perez raises his leg.
Perez then hits the Pop Rocks for a nearfall. Rea then tags in and Perez hits a back heel kick. Rhea then hits a headbutt and prepares Riptide to hit it. IYO also tags in and hits a moonsault, but Raquel drags Rhea to the mat and Rhea falls on top of the referee before getting the three count. IYO then hits a suicide dive on Raquel, but Raquel catches IYO and powerbombs her to the floor. Raquel then sends IYO back into the ring.
Then Stefani Vaquel’s music plays and she punches Raquel. Raquel then sends Vaquel into the ringside barrier, but Raquel misses the boot. Raquel is then sent into the crowd and Vaquel hits a crossbody on Raquel. They then fight to the rear. Back in the ring, the referee wakes up and Perez covers IYO with one arm for a near fall. Perez then crawls into the corner and makes the tag. Liv then hits Oblivion, but Rhea makes a blind tag and hits a Running Knee and Riptide for the win.

Nakamura then tightens up with a waistlock. Then AJ gets a standing switch. Nakamura then locks into a wristlock and then a side headlock. Next, AJ hits a leapfrog and Nakamura hits a thrust kick. They then lock up again and Nakamura backs AJ into the ropes. Then, Nakamura presses his head against AJ’s chest, and AJ pushes Nakamura away. Next, Nakamura hits a knee, but several stomping shots miss. AJ then hits a dropkick. AJ then hits a backbreaker. AJ then sends Nakamura into the turnbuckle and hits his shoulder.
After that, Nakamura hits a series of punches and forearms. AJ then hits a back elbow. AJ then hits a pescado forearm on Nakamura. AJ then misses a forearm in the corner and Nakamura hits a kick to the head. Nakamura then puts AJ on the top turnbuckle and Nakamura hits a running knee for a near fall. Nakamura then hits a snap Mary and a knee drop. Furthermore, Nakamura hits a series of knees to the ribs. Nakamura then locks him in with a reverse chinlock. Nakamura then hits a kick from the apron, but AJ hits a Dragon Screw into the ropes. AJ then hits the Dragon Screw. AJ then closes it with a calf crusher. Nakamura goes to the ropes despite the pain. Nakamura then rotates, tightens up, and lands a cross arm breaker. Nakamura then turns AJ into a triangle with a forearm to the head. AJ then hits Nakamura with a Styles Clash, but Nakamura escapes. AJ then hits Nakamura with a series of knees. AJ then hits a series of forearms, and Nakamura counters. The two parties then continue to interact. Nakamura then hits a back elbow, but AJ hits a pele kick. Furthermore, Nakamura hits a series of knees to the back of the head.
After that, Nakamura tries to attack Kinshasa, but his knee breaks down. AJ then hits a running knee, but Nakamura gets a hold of the ropes for a near fall. AJ then hits a torture rack bomb for a near fall. Nakamura then escapes a suplex and stuffs AJ into the ropes, but Nakamura can’t land a sliding German suplex. AJ then hits a sliding knee on Nakamura from the apron. After that, AJ brings Nakamura back into the ring, and AJ tries a Phenomenal Forearm, but Nakamura puts AJ on his shoulders and hits a cradle shock, resulting in a nearfall.
AJ then blocks a German suplex attempt. Furthermore, Nakamura hits a sling blade and sets up a reverse exploder. AJ then hits a series of elbows. AJ then hits a pele kick and they are both down. Then they both stand up. Nakamura then hits a series of forearms, and AJ counters. Both men then go back and forth. Nakamura then throws a chest kick, and AJ counters. Both men then continue to fight back with kicks and forearms. Both men then go for chops and forearms. Then they hit him with a kick to the leg. Nakamura then hits a headbutt and hits a cross arm breaker, but AJ rolls up for a near fall. Next, Nakamura hits a kick.
Next, Nakamura set up and hit Kinshasa, but AJ blocked it a little. Nakamura then avoids a Styles Clash. Furthermore, Nakamura hits AJ with a series of knees. Nakamura then misses the Kinshasa and hits the turnbuckle. AJ is then sent to the apron, AJ avoids a boot and drops his foot onto the top rope. AJ then hit the Phenomenal Forearm followed by the Styles Clash for the win.
The single match winner is the “amazing” AJ Styles!
After the match, AJ goes to see Nakamura and gives him a fist bump. Then they show each other signs of respect, shake hands and hug. Nakamura then leaves AJ in the ring to pose by himself. The audience then gives AJ a big ovation.

The match begins with all four standing in their respective corners listening to the crowd. Then the trick goes to the floor. Sami then avoids an RKO and clotheslines Priest over the top rope to the floor. Trick drags Sami to the floor and hits him with a forearm to the back. Randy then hits Trick with a European uppercut followed by a forearm to the back. Priest then hits a splash on Trick and Randy from the ring steps. Priest then hits an elbow in the corner, followed by a flying forearm in the center of the ring. Sami then escapes a suplex attempt and Priest kicks Randy. Randy then punches him in the eye with his thumb and Priest is sent to the floor. Randy then hits a kick and a European uppercut.
Randy then goes to the turnbuckle and punches Sami. Sami then drops Orton into the turnbuckle and Sami hits a punch off the turnbuckle. Trick then hits a knee on Sami and he kicks Sami and Orton. Trick then punches Sami. Trick then sends Sami into Randy on the apron and Trick hits a jumping neckbreaker for a nearfall. Trick then hits a knee on Sami followed by a chop. Sami then hits some forearms. Trick then hits a spinning back heel kick and Priest hits a leaping flatliner on Trick for a near fall. Priest goes for a Razor’s Edge on Sami, but Sami blocks it and hits a tornado DDT on Priest for a near fall. Sami then hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Priest, and when Randy gets in the ring, he tries a Blue Thunder Bomb on Randy, but Randy escapes.
Randy then hits a powerslam on Priest. Randy then hits two clotheslines, ducks a clothesline from Sami and follows up with a powerslam. Randy then tries a draping DDT on Priest, but Priest hits it. Randy then hits Trick with a kick and Trick goes for another draping DDT on the ropes, but Sami grabs Orton and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Sami goes for a helluva kick, but Trick hits a jumping side kick for a near fall. Priest then hits a jumping kick on Trick and Trick falls to the floor. Priest then goes to the floor and Trick hits Urange into the barrier at ringside. Sami then hits a flip dive on Trick. Sami then escapes the Backdrop Driver onto a table and gives the Backdrop Driver to Orton. Sami then hits an Exploder on Priest in the corner. Then Sami hits a helluva kick. Trick then drags the referee out of the ring, giving Sami a nearfall. The referee then yelled at Trick and told him to shut up. Trick then threatened to punch the referee.
Sami then grabs Trick and Trick punches Sami. Orton hits a backdrop driver on Trick in the announce table, and Trick hits his second one. Sami is then dragged to the floor and Randy gives Sami a backdrop driver onto the announce desk. Randy then slams Priest into the table with a backdrop driver. Rand then gives Trick another backdrop driver to the announce desk. Trick rolls to the other side of the ring and falls to the floor. Sami goes for the Blue Thunder Bomb, but Randy escapes. Sami then gets a rollup and gets a nearfall. Sami moves and Randy goes shoulder first into the ring post. Sami then went to the top and jumped and rolled over Randy. Sami then escapes an RKO and Sami goes for a helluva kick, but Randy doesn’t get back to his feet. Randy then hits an RKO, Priest breaks the cover and Trick gets a near fall on Sami.
Priest and Trick then go to the apron and Trick hits a forearm. Priest then hits a forearm. Then they come and go. Trick then hits a boot and Priest hits a kick. They then hang out on the ropes and Randy sets up a double drape DDT on Trick and Priest, which Randy hits. Then Randy looked around, twisted onto the mat and focused on the trick. Randy then goes for an RKO, but Trick shoves him away. Priest then hits the South of Heaven, and Trick rolls up Priest for a near fall.
Trick then yells at the referee and Priest goes for the South of Heaven, but Trick escapes and hits a spinning heel kick. Sami then hits an Exploder into the turnbuckle and a helluva kick. Sami then misses and crashes into the turnbuckle. Trick then goes to the top and Sami stops him. Sami then goes for a superplex but Priest stops him and Priest goes for the Razor’s Edge and hits him. Priest then misses a forearm and Trick hits the shoulder. Trick then misses a forearm and Priest hits a forearm. Sami then hits Priest with a helluva kick for the win.

After the match, Drew McIntyre targets Sami Zayn on the blindside. Sami Zayn saw Drew McIntyre coming and slammed him out of the ring. And as the show draws to a close, Sami Zayn stands tall on the ropes.
