Tonight’s WWE SmackDown, airing on February 27, 2026, promises an action-packed night of action with KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. WWE SmackDown Results (2/27/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens with a welcome commentary of Jey Uso being carried away in an ambulance while a lot of people are screaming about something. Jimmy then says he’ll find out who did it. Cody asks Nick what’s going on. Then Trick Williams showed up and said he was better than me. Then he says 1 down, 4 to go. Jevon asks Trick if he was the one who put him in the ambulance. Trick then tells Evans to let the adults talk. Drew. Then comes up from the crowd and says he had nothing to do with Jay, but it was funny. He then says that he always tells the truth, but that he is guilty until proven innocent. Then Drew says he has to buy a suite every week because he’s an outlaw in his company. And he says he just wants to stop competing in Elimination Chamber. Then he says that’s too much. And I tell them to do what they want, when they want, and they do it.

Nick Aldis then tells Drew that he told her not to get involved. He then tells Drew to go to his office, because there are 20 guys trying to tear him apart, and he’s ready to tell him to do it for himself. Then Drew says there are six or five guys challenging him for his title. Cody Rhodes comes out and tells Drew to fight him now. Drew then asks the crowd if they want him to fight. And Drew said no because it wouldn’t be of any benefit to him. Drew then says he’s not a troublemaker, he doesn’t break rules, and he’s quitting. Cody then says that Drew has been running around like a bit of an idiot throughout his title reign. At that, Drew stopped walking.

Cody then says there will be no rematch. And he said, “After tomorrow.” Randy Orton then comes out and says what happened to Jey was the worst and he feels sorry for him. Randy then says his only concern is to win tomorrow at Elimination Chamber and become a 15-time champion. Randy then tells Cody as far as they are going. Then Trick Williams interrupts and comes out. He says he hates this, but you have to understand that he’s the hottest guy in the business. And he says that’s why Bruno Mars yelled at him. He then said that for tonight, he was looking inside the ring and he could see them. He then said since we were in Louisville, we could add something to the menu. And he says it can add flavor to the menu. Jevon Evans cuts in and he walks past Trick and into the ring.

Then Evans says, “Let me tell you a crazy story.” He said that although they have history, he would win at Elimination Chamber and break Randy’s record for youngest world champion. He then said the match needed its last healthy member, and LA Knight interrupted and went down to the ring. Knight says he wants to talk, but hears a lot of empty promises. He then said he had 24 hours to get to the elimination room and they were all his. Drew, as far as you and me at Mania are concerned, that title belongs to him. When Trick jumps in, catchphrases are exchanged between Trick and the Knight. Knight punches Trick and is then dragged to the floor by Trick. They trade punches while moving backwards. Cody, Randy and Evans are in the ring and Randy gives Evans an RKO. Randy looked at Cody and Randy looked over his shoulder at Cody as he left the ring.

Then we head inside. So Kathy Kelly says Jey Uso’s position in the elimination chamber is in jeopardy. Cassie then says she’s trying to get more information about Jey Uso. Then Tiffany Stratton walks up to her. Kathy asks if that makes a difference for her and the chamber. Tiffany says it sucks, but she won’t let anyone take her out of the match to get her title back. Asuka appears and says that Tiffy time is over. Asuka says that no one will be ready for her tomorrow. Tiffany then asks Asuka if she wants to prove it tonight. Kairi then asked Tiffany if she was jealous and Asuka yelled at Tiffany.

We then review the arrival of the night’s superstars as we break down the lineup for tonight’s show, including a focus on Oba Femi taking on The Miz.

Solo Chicore then comes down to the ring with Wyatt Thicke’s lantern for the first match of the night. He then teases Wyatt Thicke. Back at ringside, we look back on last week and listen to Uncle Howdy’s message to MFT ahead of tonight’s match. Then the lights went out and Uncle Howdy entered, and he went down to the ring alone. He then enters the ring and starts this match.

Single match: Wyatt Chick’s Uncle Howdy vs. MFT’s WWE Tag Team Champion Solo Chicore

The match begins with Solo pointing at the lantern and speaking to Howdy. They then lock up and Howdy backs Solo into the corner to give him a clean break. Solo then pushes Howdy. They then lock up again and Solo applies a side headlock. Solo then hits a shoulder tackle, but Howdy doesn’t go down. Solo then throws a punch and Howdy punches back. Then they come and go. Solo then hits a headbutt. Howdy then hits a flying back elbow on Sister Abigail, but Solo escapes and falls to the floor. Howdy follows and Solo lands a punch. Solo then went for the Samoan Spike and missed Howdy, but it missed the ring post. Howdy then sends his arm into the ring post multiple times and into the ringside barrier.

Howdy then clotheslines Solo over the ringside fence and into the timekeeper area. Howdy then sees the lantern and hits Solo with an elbow before catching him. Howdy then slams his hand on the announce desk. They then get back in the ring and Howdy kicks Solo, sending him into the turnbuckle. Solo then hits a forearm that sends Howdy face-first into the center turnbuckle. Howdy then falls to the floor. Solo then sends Howdy into the ringside barrier and he picks up the lantern. Solo then brings Howdy back into the ring and tries to regain feeling in his thumb. Solo then hits a chop to Howdy’s head, but he uses his right hand and does the damage. Solo then hits a few headbutts. Solo then applies a nerve hold.

Howdy then stands up and Solo sends Howdy back to the mat. Solo then goes back into a nerve hold. Howdy then hits a jawbreaker, but Solo goes back into a nerve hold and hits some headbutts. Howdy then hits Solo with a series of punches, and Solo hits a Samoan undrop for a near fall. Solo then goes back into a nerve hold. Howdy then grabs her hand and pulls her fingers. Solo then hits a headbutt and Howdy throws a series of punches. Howdy then hits a clothesline in the corner. Solo then hits an Uranage, goes up top and hits a Frog Splash for a near fall.

Solo then takes Howdy to find Sister Abigail, but Howdy fights back with Mandible Claws. This didn’t last long either, as Solo countered with a spike, forcing Howdy into the corner and allowing him a few hip attacks. On the third attempt, Howdy jumps up and hits Sister Abigail, defeating Solo and clinching the victory.

After the match, Howdy exits the ring to retrieve a lantern, but is blindsided by MFT, who quickly retrieves the lantern through the crowd.

We then headed to the back and saw Drew McIntyre being taken to the parking lot being told to stay home tomorrow and stay out of trouble. Nick Aldis then confronts Vision, who tries to get Logan Paul to participate in tomorrow’s men’s Elimination Chamber match. Paul then talks about how easily he could win the match and become the champion. Aldis then finally relented enough to consider it, citing the influence of “politics” in walking away. Heyman then assured Logan that he knew he could win the chamber match, and Logan left before Heyman told Theory to tone down his attitude.

Progressive then introduces the rise of RHIYO ahead of tonight’s Women’s Tag Team Championship match against Irresistible Force.

Kathy is with Iyo and Leah. She asks them about the next few days and Rhea’s focus. Rhea says they should focus on Elimination Chamber, but they need to take it one step at a time. They need to defend their title tonight. That way she can focus on Elimination Chamber. Iyo says that Rhea will win tomorrow and Rhea will become the champion. Jade Cargill stops by and tells Leah that no one will be helping her tomorrow and asks her not to get hurt.

As Nick is on the phone, Jacob Fatu appears and says the finger is pointed at Drew. Fatu says if Nick has a problem with Drew, he has a problem with Drew. Fatu says the solution is to put him in a room. Fatu says he should be a part of it too. He says this is a conversation. He’s going to go into Elimination Chamber, win, and come out of WrestleMania to settle that issue. Nick says he will take the advice.
