WWE NXT Results (4/28/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show begins with a video package recapping the two-week WWE NXT Revenge Special.

Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcome us to the show and Robert Stone will be seen talking about his new call to RAW and Smackdown with WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom. Stone suggests giving EVOLVE and LFG people a chance. Shawn then tells Stone that he can put names on the board, make talent cards, and throw sticks of dynamite around the locker room to see who runs away.

Saquon Sugars then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night against Dark State, followed by Miles Bourne.

WWE NXT North American Championship Match: Miles Bourne (c) vs. Saquon Sugars of Dark State

The match starts with Saquon taking his boot off in the corner and Miles hits a few European uppercuts. Saquon then lands a neckbreaker and delivers a second blow. Saquon then misses a dropkick in the corner and Miles hits a Fisherman’s Express. Miles then hit a gut wrench suplex and Saquon hit a boot. Miles then hits a powerslam and Saquon falls to the floor. Miles then hits a flip dive on Saquon and Osiris. Cutler then pulls Myles to the floor, but Myles throws a punch and chops Saquon. Saquon grabs the ropes as Miles goes for a dropkick. Saquon then hits a crossbody in the corner.

Miles then hits a reverse atomic drop and a clothesline. Saquon then goes to the ropes to stop a backslide and drives Miles into the ropes. Saquon then pulls Miles into the ring post and pins him against the turnbuckle. Saquon then hits a dropkick over the ropes. Saquon then goes up to the announce desk and the referee checks on Miles. Saquon then sends Miles into the announce desk and back into the ring. Saquon then landed several knee drops to the throat, nearly causing him to fall. Saquon then kicks Miles into the corner. Miles then lands a few punches, but avoids a neckbreaker and gets a nearfall with an O’Connor roll.

Saquon then gets a near fall and slams Miles’ throat into the bottom rope. Saquon then nearly falls. Saquon then locks in a reverse chin lock and traps the arm. Saquon then hits a knee to the back. Saquon then punched Miles on the apron and Miles hit a few crossfaces. Miles then hits a shoulder hit and then hits a slingshot sunset flip, but Saquon blocks it. Then Saquon misses a knee drop. Miles then hits a hip toss. Saquon then hits a shot to the throat and a knee to the back. Saquon then hits a northern lariat over the ropes, followed by a leg drop for a near fall. Saquon then locks him in with a reverse chinlock. Saquon then takes Miles to the mat. Miles then lands some punches and breaks out of the hold.

Saquon then puts Miles on the turnbuckle and kicks Miles in the back. Saquon then goes for a belly-to-belly superplex into the turnbuckle, but Miles counters with a lateral press for a near fall. Furthermore, Saquon escapes a reverse DDT and gets a near fall. Miles then gets a rollup for a near fall. Saquon locks him up with a side headlock and Miles hits a head scissors. Miles then receives a backslide for a near fall. Saquon then kicks Miles and goes to the turnbuckle, but Miles dropkicks Saquon to the top rope.

Miles then hits two clotheslines and a European uppercut. Miles then hits the GTR. Miles then hits a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Dion gets on the apron and Myles swings at him. Saquon then hits a Northern Lights suplex and turns into a dropkick. Cutler and Osiris then distract the referee and Dion gets a chair, but Saquon stops him. Myles then sends Saquon into Deion and hits a back body drop to the floor. Miles then hit the slingshot “Born Again” for the win.

After the match, Tristan Angels came out and congratulated Miles on his victory. He then introduces himself to his fans. Then the angels told him not to be fooled by his appearance. The Angels then say they came here expecting Miles to do more in NXT. Cam Hendricks then attacks Miles from behind and hits a Urange.

Later, Kendall Gray and Wren Sinclair meet and they talk about the new talent. Kehlani Jordan shows up and says she has a problem with Kendall. Kehlani then said she made Laura tap. Kendall and Ren then remind Kehlani of what happened in NXT Underground. Wren challenges Kehlani for the speed title, but Kehlani says she doesn’t have to do it to get the title. Then she said she wanted to embarrass the wren.

Tony D’Angelo then comes down to the ring. Tony then picked up the microphone and started saying that the more this place changes, the more it stays the same. Tony said competitors come and go. Tony then said that he has been consistent since the day he stepped foot in NXT and that no man is tough enough to run him off the mountain, including the man who sent him packing. Tony then said there were people attacking Miles and people coming from LFG and EVOLVE. Tony then says that he knows Keanu is looking at him sideways. Then Tony says he wants to know about the box and who sent it.

Then the lights go out and someone comes to the ring. He then hands something to Tony and removes the hood to reveal it to be EVIL. EVIL then leaves the ring. Tavion Heights then attacks Tony and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Tavion then says that he is doing what he deserves. Then someone comes through the crowd and hits a moonsault on Tony.

We then see Tatum Puxley and Shiloh Hill burying Blake Monroe. Tatum says he didn’t want to do it, but Blake made him do it. Tatum then says he can’t hear him and Shiloh says it’s soundproof. Tatum then says he has something in mind regarding the title. Shiloh then says that the title has become a part of him and he doesn’t want to lose it. Tatum tells Shiloh that he has a big match with Ricky. Shiloh then says that he has set up a virtual world to confront Ricky. And Tatum lay next to the grave.

BirthRight then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Lexis King then grabs the mic and says she wanted to be here to support her brothers, but unfortunately EK Prosper has to go alone tonight because his partner got a beatdown. A video is then shown of Dorian being injured. EK Prosper goes down to the ring next.

Tag match: BirthRight (Channing “Stax” Lorenzo, Uriah Connors) vs. EK Prosper, “Super” Sean Legacy

The match begins with EK attacking Channing and Uriah. He then hits a superkick on King. Shawn Legacy then breaks out and helps EK and they send BirthRight to the floor. Shawn then hits a double stomp and dropkick to Channing’s back. Shawn then avoids a sunset flip and rolls through to use Uriah to hit Channing with a kick. Shawn then hits a German suplex. Shawn then hits a few chops. Sean then nearly falls. EK then tags in and hits a double stomp on the back. EK then locks in a side headlock and Channing makes the tag. EK hits a rebound backflip and double dropkick.

Channing then knocked Shawn off the apron and Uriah hit a suicide dive. Channing then hits a flip dive on Shawn. Channing is on the verge of a fall with a knee drop. Uriah tags in and chops EK. They trade chops. Uriah lands another chop and tags Channing back in. Channing hits a double suplex and gets a near fall. Channing uses an Irish whip, but EK counters Uriah and Channing with forearms.

Shawn tags in and connects with a back elbow. Shawn dropkicks Uriah from a gordbuster. Shawn hits a suicide dive and he hits the announce table as well. Shawn hits a moonsault, but Uriah rakes the eye and avoids a reverse DDT. Tag to Shawn and a clothesline. Channing tags in Uriah with a leg drop. Uriah hits a knee drop, then slams Shawn into the turnbuckle and chops him. Channing tags in, Uriah with a running boot, Channing with a cannonball. Channing lands a reverse chinlock, Uriah tags in and gets a reverse chinlock. Uriah drives Shawn to the mat.

Uriah then kicks and chops Shawn. Shawn then sends Uriah to the apron and Uriah hits a forearm. Shawn then hits a kick and sets up for a superplex. Uriah then blocks this and goes for a sunset flip powerbomb, but Shawn blocks it. Shawn then hits a moonsault and reverse sitout slam. EK and Channing then team up and EK hits a clothesline and an enzuigiri on Uriah. Then EK hits a dropkick on Channing and a tornado DDT on Uriah. EK then hits a springboard moonsault followed by a Michinoku driver for a near fall. More O’Connor rolls from Channing and a kick from Uriah. Channing then hits a flatliner and Uriah hits a swanton, but Shawn breaks the cover. Channing is then sent to the floor by Shawn. Uriah then hits a superkick on Shawn. Channing makes another tag and Shawn hits a Spanish fly on Uriah. EK then hits Channing with a flying boot. Then EK hits a moonsault and Shawn hits the Burning Hammer with a twisting neckbreaker for the win.

After the match, King and Dempsey attacked. Tate Wilder then slips out and hits a missile double dropkick and a shooting star press like a clothesline in the direction of Uriah and King. Then an official comes out and separates everyone.

Thea Hale and Jada Parker are then seen talking, and Thea wonders who else is coming. Cali Armstrong then appears and says that Jada is afraid of competition. Then Jada says she’s not afraid of anyone. Kari then says that she is the one who will make a difference. Carly says if she has to go through Jada first then that’s how it will happen.

And now we see the announcement that NXT premium events will begin airing on The CW this summer.

Next, watch Vic Jospeh and Booker T talk about the women’s title picture and Izzy Dame. Robert Stone was with Tate Wilder and Tate said he was ready for the shot. Then Laura Vice appears and says if she wants to play a game, she can call Izzy. Laura then says that Izzy says that they are two steps ahead of her, but that she feels sorry for Izzy because she can’t do anything by herself. And she says if you do that, you’ll get knocked out. Laura then says that since she’s in the ring, she wants everyone to see what she’s doing to Izzy. She then tells Izzy to show her what she has.

Then Sean Spears appears on the big screen and Laura says she didn’t think of this. And he says he needs to stay one step ahead if he wants to defend his title. Then Osiris says they dropped the ball. Cutler then says he’s going to get the tag titles back.

Lizzie Lane then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Nikkita Lyons. Nikita said Lizzie’s heavy metal vibes are messing with her frequency, so she plans to make sure she doesn’t jump over the line.

Single match: Lizzy Lane vs. Nikita Lyons

The match begins with both women locked up and Nikita slams Reign to the mat. Rain then does a kip-up. Reign then hits Nikita with a flying back elbow. Rain then hits Nikita with an elbow. Nikita then hits a kick on Rain. Nikita is now violently attacking Rain. After that, Rain will try to make a comeback in this match. Rayne charges in with a series of rights and she follows it up with a cutter. Rayne forces Nikita into the corner and hits a series of chops. Nikita then superkicks Rain.

Nikita then heads to the top rope and launches himself, but Reign stays out of danger. Reign then hits an uppercut. Reign then attacked Nikita with Thunderstruck and was victorious.

Miles Bourne then asks Tavion Heights what happened to attack Tony. Tavion says he’s knocking down the door. Tavion then says why can’t he do it since Miles did it to Ethan. Then Miles says he was caught off guard. Tavion then tells Miles that he can add him to the list. Keanu Carver shows up and says he told Tony something last week, but now he’ll tell Miles. Then he saw a shark circling and said he was a great white.

They then meet Jackson Drake, who says things are going well. Brad Baylor then said that he and Ricky had locked the tag division. And now, he says, is Jackson’s time to do it. And Jackson says he has Micah and he can overcome anything. Then Jasper Troy says he’s told him everything about Jackson. Then he said at least your sons have tag titles. Then he said maybe I should worry about wrestling. And Jasper will challenge Drake to a match next week.

Kehlani then goes up top and goes for a frog splash, but Wren gets her knees up for a near fall. Wren tightens with the Final Wrench, but releases the hold due to pain in her leg. And next week, it was announced that Laura Bice and Mr. Iguana will face Izzie Dame and Nico Vance, Cali Armstrong will take on Jada Parker, and Jasper Troy will take on Jackson Drake.

Ricky and Hill then exchange forearms and punches. Hill then hits a pop-up forearm and a reverse senton for a near fall. Hill then goes up top and Ricky pushes the referee into the ropes, which straddles Hill. Ricky then went to the turnbuckle for a superplex and hit it for a near fall. Ricky then sets up the Old School and Hill kicks the ropes and crotches Ricky. He then puts Ricky on the top rope. Hill then kicks Ricky to the floor. Ricky then hotshots Hill into the ring steps and slams Roshambo to the floor. Ricky then gets a chair, but the referee takes it away. Hill throws more punches and Ricky falls into a chair. We then headed to the back, where Tony D’Angelo told Shawn Michaels that Keanu Carver was right about sharks circling him and his NXT Championship match. Michaels then told him that if he wanted an upset, he could have it considering he was the NXT Champion and the show was coming to an end.
