AEW Dynamite/Collision Results (May 27, 2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show begins with a welcome from Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz, followed by a look at the Owen Hart Tournament schedule and tonight’s Dynamite/Collision lineup.

Next, we see a recap of the exchange between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay. Renee Paquette catches up with Ospreay backstage, and Omega warns Ospreay about the Death Rider. Omega says he understands the appeal, but tells Ospreay to be careful of the Death Rider as a friend. Then Jon Moxley comes in and says that’s great advice. Moxley then says we all have our own skeletons. Omega then agrees in an awkward moment. He then instructed Ospreay to call him anytime. Ospreay tells him not to give up on the world title, and Omega tells him not to give up as well.

Then Kevin Knight came out and started saying he might be asked why he did this on Sunday. Ms. Knight said she told Darby Allin not to take the jet down and not let people down, so she flew the jet. And Knight said the Sixers let them all down, just like they did against the Knicks. After that, Knight said he decided he no longer trusted the process. Knight said he then decided to take matters into his own hands and did what he had to do. Knight then asks who was the last person to humiliate MJF and it was him. Knight then said he should have been in the main event but was watching from the bench. Knight then says that he didn’t come to join, but to take over the company, so he took it upon himself. Knight then says he trusts Darby, and when he joins the company, Darby tells him not to waste his time.

Then “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Bailey can hear what Kevin is saying and he says he knows him. He knows how ambitious he is, and that is both his best quality and his worst. They work well as a team because they both want to be the best, but Kevin has no patience. He makes mistakes, and what he did to Darby was a mistake. Bailey says if he apologizes and admits his actions, he can make things right. Bayley holds out her hand for a handshake. Kevin waves and shoulders with her. Kevin with a clothesline. He gets Bayley to her feet and slams her. Kevin’s music blared and he walked back.

We then see Renee Paquette backstage at The Demand. Ricochet tells her he has nothing to do with Chris Jericho. Ricochet then says that Jericho was lucky that everyone was banned from ringside for the match with Jericho. Ricochet then says that there are no more than six other men who can help Jericho if he is defeated. Ricochet then says that he has already pinned Jericho twice, but that’s not what Jericho has against him. Ricochet then says that Jericho will realize that he is no longer in this world.

Chris Jericho then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Ricochet.

The match starts with Ricochet hitting several right hands. Ricochet then sends Jericho to the outside and Ricochet hits an outside splash. Ricochet then slams Jericho into the barricade and returns him to the ring. Ricochet then hits a springboard clothesline. Ricochet then hits a running shooting star press. He goes for another cover, but Jericho kicks out. Ricochet then hits a chop to the chest. Ricochet then goes up to the ring apron, but Jericho hits a right hand and Ricochet falls outside. Jericho then climbs to the top rope and hits a splash on Ricochet. He then grabs Ricochet but Ricochet puts a pitchfork in his eye and Ricochet slams Jericho into the announce desk. Ricochet then gets on the announce desk and grabs Jericho, but Jericho slams him down and slams Ricochet into the walls of Jericho.

Ricochet then tries to grab something, but he can’t, and Jericho lets go. Jericho then puts Ricochet on the ring apron, but Ricochet hits a kick to the side of the head. Jericho then hits a Death Valley Driver onto the ring apron. Jericho and Ricochet then return to the ring. Jericho then hits a shoulder tackle. Then Jericho gets on the ring apron and hits a double ax handle. Jericho then hits a bulldog and a springboard back elbow. Jericho then hits a brainbuster. He then goes for a cover, but Ricochet kicks out. Jericho then goes for a spinning back elbow, but Ricochet rolls onto the ring apron. Jericho then tries to grab him, but Ricochet sends Jericho flying out of the box. Then Jericho gets on the ring apron and Ricochet hits a dropkick. Ricochet then hits a suicide dive. Jericho then returns to the ring and Ricochet hits a Phoenix Splash. He goes for another cover, but Jericho kicks out. Ricochet then runs towards Jericho, but Jericho traps him in the Walls of Jericho.

Ricochet then tries to reach the ropes but Ricochet lands a few right hands on Jericho and Jericho lets go. Jericho then goes for a right hand on Ricochet, but Ricochet moves out of the way. Jericho then stops in front of the referee but misses Edwards. Ricochet then hits a low blow, but the referee doesn’t see it. Ricochet then hits Ricosoto. He goes for another cover, but Jericho kicks out. Ricochet then climbs the top rope and goes for a 630 splash, but Jericho avoids it. Jericho also hits a code breaker. He then goes for a cover, but Ricochet kicks out. Jericho then hits the Judas Effect and Lionsault for the win.

After the match, Tommaso Ciampa jumps out and attacks Jericho from behind. Ciampa then hits Jericho with a few right hands and Jericho lowers his knee pads. Ciampa then hits a running knee to the face.

Then we meet Andrade El Idro backstage. Andrade says he can now focus on winning the world title and defeating stupid MJF. Andrade then asks MJF if he thinks he’s better than real Latino men.

Orange Cassidy then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Lio Rush, Brian Cage, and RUSH.

Super Station Showcase 4-Way Match: LFI’s “El Toro Blanco” RUSH vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Machine” Brian Cage vs. The Conglomeration AEW World Trios Champion “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy vs. “Blackheart” Lio Rush

The match begins with Brian Cage sending Lio Rush out of the ring and RUSH tossing Orange Cassidy out of the ring. Cage and Rio then hit a series of right hands, but RUSH hit a German suplex. Cage then stands up and Cage slams Rio to the mat. Rio and Cassidy then get in the ring and go for the cover, but Cage and RUSH kick out. Cassidy then hits a series of kicks, but RUSH goes for a sunset flip. Cassidy then puts his hands in his pockets. Rio then stands up but Cassidy hits a dropkick. Rio then sends Cassidy out of the ring. Cage then gets in the ring, but Lio sends Cage to the ring apron and Lio hits a kick. Cage then fell outside the ring and Rio went for a suicide dive, but Cage caught him. Cassidy then performs a suicide dive on Rio and Cage.

Cassidy then hits an elbow into the cage. He then goes for a cover but Cage kicks out. Cassidy then goes up to the ring apron, but Cage hits a kick to the side of the head. Cage then suplexes Cassidy from the ring apron into the ring. He goes for another cover, but RUSH breaks it down. Cage then hits a body slam. He then goes for a cover but Rio breaks it up. Rio then goes to the ropes, but Cage lifts him up and hits a Falcon Arrow. He then goes for a cover, but Rio kicks out. Cassidy then jumps on the top rope, but Cage catches him. He lifts Cassidy up again, but Cassidy hits a Stunner. Cassidy then hits a tornado DDT. He then goes for a cover but Cage kicks out. Cage then goes outside the ring and Cassidy hits a suicide dive DDT.

Rocky Romero and Lance Archer then escape. Cassidy then hits an orange punch on both men. Jake Doyle then walks out. Archer then grabs Cassidy and takes her to the back. Rio returns to the ring and hits a Stunner and a Spear. Then he goes for a cover but RUSH kicks out. Rio then climbs to the top rope and jumps, but RUSH avoids it. RUSH then hits a right hand and Rio falls out of bounds. RUSH then sends him into the barricade. RUSH then grabs a cable wire and begins strangling Rio with it. He then slams Rio into the barricade and returns him to the ring. RUSH then hits a running dropkick for the win.

We then see Renee Paquette backstage with AEW World Champion MJF. Then Kevin Knight appears. MJF then tells Kevin Knight that going out to celebrate MJF makes him proud. Kevin tells MJF that he left because Darby failed, and that he’s going after MJF’s title belt. MJF then leaves and Kyle Fletcher appears with Don Callis. He then tells the Knight that he knows where to find them.

Renee Paquette is then seen interviewing Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor. Hater says he may have lost in Double or Nothing, but at least he was able to remove Thekla’s head. Alex Windsor was scheduled to face Willow Nightingale in Owen Hart’s tournament. Windsor says he has feelings for Nightingale, but warns Wildcard that he better have the courage to stand up to her.

AEW World Champion MJF’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. There are three balloons with the number 3 on them. MJF then grabbed the mic and started talking about how he’s a 3-time AEW World Champion at 30 years old. MJF then said he was going to write him into the history books. And MJF says you can witness his greatness in real time. MJF then says that these are the best times because it all depends on him. Then MJF says he’s a three-time, three-time, three-time world champion. MJF then says that he is the most complete wrestler in the world and that no wrestler can match him. So MJF says the people need to do the right thing. And MJF said he wants everyone watching at home or in the arena to bow before the greatest player of all time.

Mark Briscoe’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. MJF tells them to cut the music and asks Mark who he thinks he is. Mark tells him that MJF is like a stranger in a strange part of this city. Then Mark says MJF doesn’t belong here. Mark then said that it looked more like a penguin walking in the desert than a penguin on an exotic South American beach. Then Mark said they were in Philadelphia. And Mark said these people are hard-nosed, grinders, some of the toughest humans on the planet. Mark then said MJF sticks out like a sore thumb because he’s not tough. Mark then said that he thinks MJF deserves the world to be his. Mark then said that MJF believes he is better than any of them and that he is better than them, and MJF believes that too. Mark then says it wasn’t that long ago that they nailed him. Then Mark says he wants a title fight. Mark then asks MJF if he’s going to continue to be a nice little guy or if he’s going to be a man.

Then MJF tells him no. MJF says no because, unlike the rest of the company, he understands that All Elite Wrestling is a business, not just a sport. MJF then says it’s bad enough that an emo freak like Darby Allin would sniff out the AEW title, even on the surface. MJF then says that Mark Brisco thinks that’s a good thing for him. Then MJF starts laughing. MJF then says that it’s not a good idea because if he tries for the title, the company will probably go bankrupt. MJF then says there are levels to this and Brisco is nowhere near the Devil’s level. MJF then leaves the ring. RUSH’s music plays and he comes out. RUSH tells MJF that he is an asshole. RUSH then tells MJF that he almost beat him. Then RUSH says that if you tamper with the bull, its horns will come out.

MJF then says that RUSH thinks he’s cool. Then MJF says that RUSH is not the only one who can speak multiple languages. MJF then calls him Senor. MJF then says that he actually agrees with RUSH that if anyone deserves a title chance, it’s him. MJF then says that from a business standpoint, he has good hair, good looks, a catchphrase, and is more marketable than ugly fucking Brisco. MJF then asks RUSH if he wants to wrestle tonight at Triple B. MJF then says, have a spirit and listen. MJF then says that they have a title match next week and they better get ready because it looks like the Bull will lock horns with the Devil. Then MJF’s music plays and he heads to the back.

Claudio Castagnoli then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Brody King.

Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal Match: Death Riders’ Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brody King

The match begins with a lockup between both men. Castagnoli then goes for a headlock, but King sends Castagnoli into the ropes. King then hits a chop to the chest. Castagnoli then hits some right hands and King hits a chop. Castagnoli then goes to the ropes and King clotheslines him outside the ring. King then goes outside and King hits a chop. Castagnoli then landed a few right hands. He then runs towards King, but King hits a big boot. King then lands some right hands. Castagnoli then hits a right hand, but King hits a right hand and cannonballs. Castagnoli then rolls out of the ring.

King goes for a suicide dive, but Castagnoli hits him with a right hand. Castagnoli then returns to the ring. Castagnoli then goes to the ropes but King hits a right hand. King then lifts Castagnoli, but Castagnoli gets up from the spot. Castagnoli then goes to the ropes and goes for a springboard right, but King lands a right. King then goes to the ropes. Castagnoli then hits an uppercut, but King hits a clothesline for the win.

Brody King, winner of the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament quarterfinals!

Adam Copeland’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Then Christian Cage’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Christian told the fans to sit down and shut their mouths, but Copeland asked him what he was doing. Cage then asks Copeland if he heard their story. Christian asks what was so bad, but he didn’t hit his mother. Then Christian says maybe it was. Christian then says FTR is sitting at home wondering what he’s going to say. And Christian said that FTR were without a doubt the toughest and best tag team to ever share the ring and brought out the best in them. And he said they are what they say they are, top guys. And he said they’re not the best of the best.

According to Copeland, FTR decided to do an I Quit Match against the two men who had been told they would never wrestle again. And Mr. Copeland says the two retired players have gotten their careers back on track. Afterwards, Copeland said FTR was looking ahead and it was time to live and enjoy the moment. And he said he was going to do something he hadn’t done in 25 years. And tonight, he says, for the first time in 25 years, people who benefit from flash photography will be asked to pose for five seconds.

Then Christian says he didn’t do that. Copeland then asks him what his problem is. Christian then asks if I want a 5 second pose, but he doesn’t even do flash photography anymore. Copeland then says that was his mistake and goes under the ring. Copeland then picks up a black bag. And about 20 years ago, he said, he went to the store and bought a bunch of these just for this scenario. He then pulls out a bag containing a disposable camera. He then begins handing it out to the audience.

Copeland then returns to the ring, but David Finlay and O’Connor attack him from behind. Christian then falls outside the ring. Finlay then hits Christian in the hand with a shillelagh. He then puts Christian’s arm under the ring steps and O’Connor jumps onto the ring steps. They then sent Christian back into the ring and hit him with a shillelagh. They then strangled Copeland with a Schiller rag. Finlay and O’Connor ask the photographer to take a picture. The cameraman then picks up a disposable camera. Finlay and O’Connor pose in the ring with Copeland and Christian below.

Then we head to the back where Prince Nana is with Swerve Strickland. Nana Prince says everyone saw what Strickland did in Double or Nothing. Swerve then congratulates King on his victory. And it’s up to Swerve, who said no one will know who King is since he entered the industry in 2016. Strickland then says that conflict makes money, war makes money, and he’s making money with Brody.

Later, when Tay Mero and Anna Jay went down to the ring for their next match of the night, their opponents were already in the ring.

Tag match: TayJay (Tay Mero & Anna Jay) vs. Eva Everett & Ally Kutch

The match starts with Jay and Kutch with both women locking up. Mero then tags in and sends Jey into Kutch in the corner for a backheel kick. Everett makes a tag, but Mero runs him over with a pump kick and tags out to Jey. Jey then hits a blockbuster on Everett and Mero hits a knee strike on her. Jey and Mero then hit Everett with a golly bomb/knee strike combination for the win.

We then go backstage and Mike Bailey challenges Kevin Knight to a match.

Mark Davis then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Jack Perry.

The match begins with Perry getting hit from behind by Davis. Davis then hits a centone. He then goes for a cover, but Perry kicks out. Davis then grabs Perry, but Perry hits a right hand. Perry then hits a dropkick and Davis rolls out of the ring. Perry then makes a suicide dive. Davis then hits a chop to the chest. Davis hits a clothesline and Perry rolls onto the ring apron. Davis then runs into Perry, who falls into the barricade. Perry then returns to the ring and Davis goes for a senton, but Perry moves out of the way. Perry then puts Davis on the ring apron. Perry then climbs to the second rope and hits a hurricanrana. Perry then climbs to the top rope and hits a moonsault. He then sends Davis back into the ring.

Perry goes for another snare trap, but Davis goes to the ropes. Perry goes for a running knee, but Davis hits a right hand. Davis then goes to the ropes and hits a clothesline. Davis goes for the cover but Perry kicks out. Davis then grabs Perry, but Perry lands a few right hands. Davis then gets on the second rope but Perry hits a dropkick. Perry then climbs to the top rope, but Perry trips. Davis then hit a spinning piledriver from the second rope for the win.

AEW National Champion Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family, winner of the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinals!

After the match, Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis enter the ring with Renee Paquette. First of all, Fletcher asks Don to give him some sugar. Fletcher then said we could talk about the elephant in the room now. Fletcher then explains how he was able to come back from injury in record time. Fletcher then says he broke his leg and tore his meniscus. Fletcher then says he’s a picture-perfect performer. Afterwards, Fletcher said he was happy to announce that he was 100 percent qualified to compete in the ring competition. Fletcher then says that he wanted to be the man who would take away the burden of the Don Callis family. Fletcher then says that he has been trying to keep his family together for a year, but Konosuke Takeshita was trying to drive a wedge.

Fletcher then says that Takeshita doesn’t care about his family or himself. Fletcher says they could have ruled the entire world, but Takeshita is selfish and that will never happen. This brings us to Takeshita along with Conglomeration. Everyone goes down to the ring. Fletcher and Callis then dispersed and left the ring. Mr. Takeshita has a microphone behind him. He starts speaking in Japanese. And he says he has regained his international title. Then the fans start shouting, “You deserve it!” Takeshita then tells Fletcher that he wants him.

Then you look at Will Ospreay and he says the last time he fought Mark Davis he was at 50%. Ospreay then stayed in the apartment for a year, accusing him of not paying rent.

Will Ospreay and the Death Riders then go down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by The Rascals.

Trio match: Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and “The Bastard” PAC) and “Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. The Rascals (Desmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed)

The match begins with Moxley and Reed on the floor. Ospreay is then taken down by Xavier. After that, he only covered Ospreay for a two count. Xavier and Ospreay then run the ropes and Xavier hits a big boot. Ospreay then tags in with PAC. PAC then hip-tosses Wentz who is tagged in and Moxley is also tagged in and chops Wentz with some trash talk. Wentz then chops Moxley, but it has no effect on Moxley. Moxley then takes him down with a back elbow and makes a tag to Ospreay. Xavier then tags in and hits a dropkick on Ospreay. Reed and Wentz then took off over the ropes and landed on PAC and Ospreay.

Wentz then hits a running knee on Ospreay. Xavier is then tagged in and he and Wentz get taken down by Ospreay. Then the PAC is tagged and the lead is tagged. PAC kicks Reed and takes him down with a big lariat. PAC then hits Wentz with a big boot and follows up with a release German suplex. He then takes down Reed with a belly-to-belly and covers Reed with just a 2 count. Moxley then tags in and slams Reed into the corner. With Wentz and Xavier down, Reed ends up triple-teaming the Death Riders. PAC and Ospreay then jump over the ropes and take down Xavier and Wentz. Moxley then piledrives Reed and covers him for just a two count. Moxley then lifts him up, but Reed rolls him up for a near pin. Moxley then takes Reed down with a big lariat. Moxley then tags Ospreay and Ospreay stomps on Reed’s arm. PAC then hits Xavier with the Brutalizer. We will then place a submission hold on all three of the Rascals who submitted.

Then we head to the back with The Opps. Samoa Joe says this hasn’t been the best week for the group. Then Joe gets a call from Hollywood and tells him he’ll be away for a few months. Joe then says he expects them to hold the fort.

We then get a video package that highlights the tension between Hikaru Shida and Chris Statlaender and how things reach boiling point on Double or Nothing. It all leads to tonight’s Lights Out Philadelphia Street Fight.

We then headed to the backside, where Divine Dominion boasted something in “just 30 seconds” and then found out what they meant with TayJay’s placement. He is then called for help and heads to ringside.

Then Andrade El Idro comes down to the ring to hear about his open challenge and Ace Austin answers the call of the night. El Idro then enters the ring and Ace Austin comes out as the Bam Bam Gang watches him. Austin then enters the ring and the match begins.

Single match: Andrade El Idro of Don Callis Family vs. Ace Austin of Bang Bang Gang

The match begins with Andrade taking Austin to the mat and both trading attacks until he traps Austin with a pin attempt and a nearfall. Austin starts to fight back and sends Andrade to the ropes with a waistlock, but Andrade stops his momentum with a tranquilo pose. Andrade then begins to return to the ring. Andrade then takes Austin outside to take a selfie with a woman in the front row. She then jumped the guardrail in the process, but was brought back by Andrade before Austin was brought back into the ring. Austin reversed it and sent Andrade into the corner instead. He then hoists Andrade onto his shoulders and does a squat before sending him into the corner. He then props Andrade up against the turnbuckles and returns him to the ring, where he hits a Death Valley Driver for two.

The tables then turn when Andrade sends Austin into the corner, but Austin avoids the corner attack at the last minute. Austin then sends Andrade to the opposite corner, but is met with a back elbow attack, which Andrade follows up with a DM for the win.

After the match, Andrade celebrates his victory as the commentary hypes up the final match of the night, an unofficial Lights Out Philly Street Fight between Chris Statlander and Hikaru Shida.

We then returned to ringside and Justin Roberts explained that the lights would go out to mark the end of the allowed portion of the night. The lights then go out and after the lights come back on, Chris Statlender makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night. The next person to step down to the ring is Hikaru Shida.

Lights Out Philadelphia Street Fight: Chris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida

The match begins with Statlender charging at Shida and knocking the kendo stick brought into the ring away. Shida then reverses with a mounted punch before leaving the ring, only to be blindsided by Statlender setting her up with a chop into the ring post. Shida then returns to the ring as Statlander grabs a chair from under the ring. She then throws it into the ring, but this causes Shida to grab it and take Statrender with him, setting it up on the top turnbuckle. She then makes Statlender stand up, but Statlender reverses and sends her into the hair instead. She then sends Shida to the other side, but Shida fights back before grabbing a kendo stick and taking a shot at Statlender, forcing her out of play. She then grabs something from the fan, which turns out to be an apple that she slams into Statlender’s head.

She then props Statlander up against the barricade and delivers more punches before taking him away. She then reveals another apple and puts this in Statlender’s mouth before hitting a roundhouse kick, but when she goes to the apron she is caught by Statlender and slammed to the floor. The Statlanders then continued their attack and they climbed the ramp to the rear. Statlender then stands against the guardrail before going for a suplex, but Shida counters and slams Statlender into the railing. She then slips out from behind and tries to cause more pain.

Shida hits a superplex on Statlender and both men return to the ring. Both fighters then slowly rose to their feet before trading strikes, with Statlender winning, sending Shida to the canvas. He then climbs the turnbuckle and goes for a moonsault, but Shida rolls over and drops Statlender for a two count. They then trade strikes again, this time Shida winning with a Falcon Arrow and a cover, but Statlender kicks out and stands up. She then picked up a chair and launched it into Shida’s face, who rolled out of the ring.

Statlander then left the ring on the other side, setting up a table and Shida was seen stacking the chairs. The top chair then falls as Statlender walks on the ring, but Shida is still able to hit a drop toehold, sending her into a standing chair. He goes to set up more chairs, but Statrender stands up and carries Shida on his shoulders, aiming a Death Valley Driver onto the chair. While Fern tries to recover, Statlander reaches under the ring for another weapon and she pulls out a bundle of light tubes. Fern then pleads with her and Statlander decides to install a light tube, allowing Fern to blindfold her. She then sent Statlender back into the ring, grabbed the light tube, and smashed it into Statlender’s back. Shida then follows up with a Falcon Arrow, but Statlander kicks out and the count stays at 2.

Shida then grabs a kendo stick and fires a few more shots, but Statlender gets back up and takes the fight to the apron. She then pulled the stick away from Shida before flipping her over and driving Shida with a Jumping Knight Fever Tombstone from the apron into an outside table. She then brought Shida back into the ring and Harley Cameron came down to the ring with another kendo stick and held it out to her friend to finish it off, with Statlender hitting another hard kendo stick shot and more Night Fever for the win.

After the match, Cameron gets in the ring to celebrate with Statlender, and as the show draws to a close, they head to the ramp as commentary explains Saturday’s Collision and next week’s Dynamite card.
