Even after Dynamite went off the air, AEW kept the cameras rolling and taped matches and portions of the June 20th episode of AEW Collision. The recording included the results of the Owen Hart Foundation’s important tournament, the new Forbidden Door title match, and Tommaso Ciampa stepping into Chris Jericho’s face.

Prior to the taping of Collision, Stephen Bowden defeated Gino Medina in a dark match.

ROH also taped a match in which Red Velvet defeated Charity King in an ROH TV Title Proving Grounds match.

At AEW Collision, The Young Bucks and Jack Perry defeated The Lethal Twist in trio action.

One of the big results of the night was Maya World defeating Athena to advance to the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. This victory earned her a match against Mercedes Mone at Forbidden Door. Things didn’t end cleanly after the bell either, as Mercedes and Athena attacked her after the match.

Zack Saber Jr. also defeated Adam Priest.

Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Jericho had a face-to-face interview in the ring during taping. Ciampa challenged Jericho to a match at Beach Break, and Jericho accepted, setting up another major singles match on AEW’s summer schedule.

The Hart Syndicate also joined the action after defeating Warren Johnson and Zach Mason.

Mistico defeated Dante Martin and PAC defeated Jay Alexander.

AEW also announced that Shota Unno will challenge for PAC’s IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Chris Statlender capped off another significant result by defeating Mina Shirakawa to advance to a survival of the fittest match for the TBS title.
