Originally, the previous stigma was scheduled to take place on Friday, July 11th at the esports stadium in Arlington, Texas. The status of the Supercard of Honor was already in the air at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Friday, May 2nd, as events had been moved later that year from their usual arrangements between WrestleMania weekend schedules. Fans who purchased the original date received a refund from exclusive opportunities before selling before original purchase.
Speaking of the death before stigma, the event will take place on Friday, September 5th at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 2300 Arena is more commonly known as the ECW Arena because it is the home venue for extreme championship wrestling.
ROH has a long history in both the city of Philadelphia and 2300 Arena. The company cited Philadelphia as its home location for most of the acclaimed run of the 2000s, but in 2008 it only moved from the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory to the Old ECW Arena. From there, ROH tapeped almost all of the “ROH ON HDNET” shows at 2300 Arena and traveled frequently until November 2021.
