Twisted metal The TV series featuring Aew’s Samoa Joe as a sweet tooth is back on its second run.

In December 2023, Peacock announced that it would renew its second season. On Thursday, they announced that the series will return on July 31st. There is another teaser trailer for the show. You can get a glimpse into new characters, including tournaments and Calypso.

Joe physically plays the character, with Will Arnett interacting. Based on the classic PlayStation game of the same name, the series stars Anthony Mackie, Taj Voan, Stephanie Beatriz, Celera Mos and Michael Carolo.

Peacock promoted Twisted Metal as the most binding original series in its first week, and is one of the three best original shows ever since season one.

Joe took a break from AEW TV in the summer of 2024. He returned in January 2025 with AEW Maximum Carnage to save Hook from a patriarchal attack. He formed the faction of Hook and Katsuyori Island. At Dynamite this week, the group defeated Death Riders of the AEW World Trios Championship.
