Injured star wins the championship with NXT return one year later

The title has changed the hand of tonight’s NXT.

Lexis King was scheduled to defend the Heritage Cup Championship against his Mystery opponents on an episode of the show, which aired PPV over WrestleMania weekend.

It has been revealed that the Mystery opponent is Norm Dar, who has been taking action since May last year. Dah started the match hard and maintained control over most matches.

Due to the end of the match, King got a two count with a super kick. Norm Dah subsequently forged the Dah Roller, but instead connected to the elbow on his back, pinning the former AEW star to win the title in a comeback match.

Noam Dar was amortized from television last May after being attacked by an unknown attacker. It is later revealed that the attacker was Ethan Page, who jumped over the ship from the AEW.

Since then, Page has been successful with NXT and has governed the NXT title. Now that he’s back in the brand, we need to see if DAR will chase the former AEW star.

Also, this wasn’t a night return, as the current TNA title holder made a surprise appearance and teased the champion vs champion match on the show. You can check the details here.
