We have brought you the official Wrestling Inc. pick for WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 1, and it’s time to do the same for the two nights. A night that you’ll probably see Randy Orton’s new open challenge, there are many moving pieces involved here. Also, since we started forecasting, there have been more uncertainties than this night. Certainly, matches like the Sin City Street fight or the title match for women’s tag seem pretty easy, but there are also two multi-person championship matches that feel like they can go in almost any direction. Really Would you like to make John Cena’s retirement tour a Heel World Championship run?
There are so many possibilities, and like everyone else, I can’t wait to see what actually happens. Let’s go to the pick!
Randy Orton Open Challenge
I don’t know exactly who Randy Orton is facing at WrestleMania after the scheduled match against Kevin Owens was cancelled due to an Owens neck injury, but we know that someone will be in danger of eating an RKO in Las Vegas. Orton issued an open assignment for the event – it was probably night given the games have been falling from the night one day.
Orton’s most obvious opponent is Solo Sicoa. He is a prominent WrestleMania character without a match and I saw him brawl with Orton just like he did last Friday. Certainly, he didn’t show up with Orton this Friday, but he remains a strong possibility. WINC staff gives Orton an 88% chance of winning against a opposing opponent. If somehow, WWE finds a way to explain Zayn to challenge Orton, we consider it 100% an Orton victory.
But things could be a little different if Orton’s challenge was answered by a dramatic WWE debut or return. WINC staff see Orton as a favorite with 77% of votes for Jeff Cob, who will debut, but if Orton’s challenger was Aleister Black instead, we’ll have less odds in that scenario. Now, it seems unlikely that it will be black given that all the evidence points to his debut in next week’s “Smackdown,” but all the evidence points to the potential return of Rusev (FKA Miro from AEW) WrestleMania. Again, in that scenario, 53% believe Rusev wins that match and defeats Orton.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (77%)
It was finally revealed this past Friday that they will be taking on Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
In the latest episode of “WWE Smackdown,” female tag team title #1 candidate Gauntlet Match was announced to determine who Morgan and Rodriguez faces. With WrestleMania 41 cards already packed in, it appears WWE has decided to combine both Valkyria and Bayley so that both performers will be featured on the show.
Since the beginning of this year, Judgement Day has struggled to stay on the same page, and many believe Morgan and Rodriguez may drop the title to WrestleMania if current plans break up for the near future faction to break up. That being said, Bailey still looks to the intercontinental championships of Valkyria women, so it’s possible that both women won’t be able to match in “the most epic stage of all of them.”
After winning the title last January, Valkyria competes with Bailey in two singles action, with both stars sharing a victory over each other. However, after a recent match, Bailey declined the swing of Valkyria’s blessing hand due to dissatisfaction with the defeat, but ultimately decided to show his respect for the champion. Since then, Bailey and Valkyria seem to be trying to stay on the same page as heading to WrestleMania, but will not remove any chances from either of the other competitors. So, 77% of us here at Winc believe that Morgan and Rodriguez will hold the title this Sunday, as both women focus primarily on women’s intercontinental championships.

AJ Style vs. Logan Paul: Paul (65%)
Although most of us don’t necessarily like it, I think YouTuber-Turned-Restler and former US champion Logan Paul have made AJ styles better at WrestleMania. A total of 65% of us who voted for the prediction believe that “The Maverick” has another victory on “all the most epic stage of theirs,” but annoyingly, for some of us, the match could be a memorable banger of Paul’s style as a dance partner.
There has been a lot of talk about Styles’ WrestleMania record recently, but many realize that when it comes to mania he doesn’t have the best matches or opponents. Boneyard Match is in its own league, but outside of film matches, none of his matches really stood out in WrestleMania history. That can change very well when he faced the pole he naturally took to the ring when he first started with WrestleMania 38 in WWE.
The “Go-Home Math” theatre company looks likely to win here as Paul turned his back on “WWE Raw” style after Styles beat Kallion Cross and then hit him with an impressive finisher, Paul Veriser. If Paul’s other games are a sign of how the year goes on, his streamer and fellow influencer friends and business partners could be involved in some quirky ways to help him win the veteran style.

Intercontinental Championship Fatal 4 Way: Dominik Mysterio (53%)
Bron Blakeker is tasked with defending the WWE InterContinental Championship against three other players this weekend with his WrestleMania debut. Penta made his debut with “Show of Show,” where established stars Dominic Mysterio and Finbarroa challenge the title.
Breakker and members of The Jecustment Day have refuted their goal of bringing money to the boys’ side of stables starting in February, but for a while it was unclear which pair would challenge him. After weeks of distraction finishing and non-contesting, Mysterio came to Valor with the idea that he could use his new member, Penta. Mysterio attempted to join their cause by attacking Penta’s strike with a chair, but he declined by attacking “Dirty Dom” and setting tag matches on both sides. Breakker accidentally attacked Penta with a spear, giving Balor and Mysterio the victory, urging Adam Pearce to declare the four-way of the title.
Heading into the weekend, a poll of Wrestling’s staff reflects that 53% believe it is Mysterio, leaving his fourth WrestleMania in his first Main Roster Singles Championship. If he wins, it’s the first time he’s ever raised his hand in a “show show.” 29% have helped Penta secure his first title since leaving AEW to WWE at the beginning of the year, but 18% believe Breakker is still holding the title. Unfortunately for Balor, no one voted in favor of the idea that he won the third Intercontinental title.

Sin City Street Fight: Drew McIntyre (94%)
One of the more underdebated matches on the cards, the feud between Drew McIntyre and Damien’s priest, has been built for a year now, and it’s possible that the two could steal the show. Meanwhile, McIntyre has been blocked by the priests multiple times, and the priest cashed his money in a bank deal with a WWE WrestleMania XL wrestler, continuing this year’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber.
With their paths crossing at WrestleMania again, the overwhelming majority of Wrestling Company teams believe McIntyre will ultimately get revenge against the priest. McIntyre was defeated last year after being defeated against the priest. It is difficult to imagine a Scottish warrior leaving WrestleMania without regaining his strength. The hardcore regulations also support McIntyre. McIntyre has shown many times that he is willing to go to almost every extreme to win.
As usual, when coming out of WrestleMania this year, there are many different directions that WWE can take. However, it claims that many of the most exciting potential stories involve McIntyre near the top of the card. As for the priest, it’s okay if the former Judgement Day leader is lost as long as the promotion involves him in the aftermath of WrestleMania.

Triple Threats at Women’s World Championships: Bianca Bella (59%)
The triple threat match between women’s world title pitting champions Aiyovel Air and Realiply was difficult to call after weeks of confused Build and questions about whether Ripley would be added to the match, but even so, we’re stuck with “Mrs. Wrestling Mania” in our predictions. A total of 59% of us predict that Bel Air will leave as champions and extend her winning streak to 5-0.
Skye seems like a retroactive attempt to make much of this feud after defeating Ripley in the title in the episode of “Law,” and since that defeat, Ripley has looked whimsical and desperate in his attempt to return to the match at WrestleMania. Sky has something to prove after being forced onto two other women, but has won 35% of the vote, but it doesn’t seem to us that she keeps money around her hips when she stands up against these great powers. However, Lea Ripley appears even less likely to regain the money, despite all her efforts being paid off to ultimately take part in the WrestleMania match, with only 6% of WINC staff voted for “nightmare.”
Ripley is forever over and Sky has a solid fanbase behind her too, so giving Bel Air a victory here to continue her “mania streak” makes sense to 59% of us. If Belair wins, there will be plenty of opportunities for her to face either woman, and those who don’t take the pin are likely to challenge the winners next month in the St. Louis backlash.

Uncontroversial WWE Championship: John Cena (82%)
John Cena is a world title because it breaks most world title records in WWE history. WWE Stalwart has given up on his fans and trying to impress the whimsical WWE universe in his quest to beat the record. The only thing that gets in his way is uncontroversial WWE champion Cody Rhodes.
A robust 82% of Wrestling Inc. staff believes Cena is trying to achieve Locke’s plans to abdicate Rhodes on Sunday. Breaking Flair’s record not only makes it a fitting cap for a historic career, defined by his position, just like “The Man” like Flair, but it also helps with conversations about “the greatness of wrestling.”
Flair has always been a divisive figure, but over the past decade, the WWE Hall of Fame has become a controversial brand of fire. Flair’s actions led to him falling in both WWE and AEW, but “The Nature Boy” always finds a way to get back to conversation due to the magnitude of his achievements. With Sunday’s victory, Cena appears to have taken Flair’s place on Mount Rushmore in wrestling, and it’s hard to argue the logic of celebrating a famous, loyal company man, in contrast to his increasingly unpleasant talent.
Rhodes’s story is complete and he was a stunning champion, but even if Cena’s attitude is less than the example, it seems that it’s time for him to step aside and get the last one.
