New details have been revealed regarding AEW star Stokely Hathaway’s recent return and absence from television.

In last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite in New Orleans, LA (April 23), Stokely Hathaway was revealed as the new “agent” of FTR, who reappeared in the company’s programming for the first time in six months and recently turned heels in the AEW dynasty.

Following the Return Fightful Select, he provided details on Hathaway’s original plan for AEW’s Hathaway, before a long absence from the TV.

The report states that Hathaway and the FTR alliance were “close to what it was like last year.”

Before his absence, Hathaway was able to see him scouting the tag team in AEW, including seeing an FTR match in the background of one of his vignettes.

However, the plan reportedly changed as it reportedly led to its involvement in FTR instead.

During his AEW tenure, Hathaway has served as managers for Jade Cargill, Guns, Big Bill, Willow Nightingale and, more recently, Chris Stalander, whom he managed before his absence.
