WWE SmackDown Results (4/25/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with Joe Tescitore, who welcomes us while watching the shots of Texas. Next, we see the arrival of WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins), Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin), and #Diy (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa). We also see the arrivals of WWE US champions Jacob Fatu, Solosicore and WWE women’s champion Tiffany Stratton. Tessitore says the TLC match will air commercial free during the final hours of SmackDown.

The uncontroversial music of WWE champion John Cena is hit and he moves towards the ring.
John Cena holds the indisputable WWE Championship as live crowds cheer him on. Cena did the same thing on Monday’s RAW when she called ring announcer Mark Nash into the ring. chant. Nash says he was rude and apologized for reintroducing China as the greatest of all time. As soon as Cena tries to speak, Randy Orton’s music gets hit and Orton leaves and points to fans holding the “RKO” sign before joining Cena during Ring.
Orton is given the microphone when he enters the ring and “Randy!” The chant breaks out. Orton starts by saying that in a few months it will take 25 years from the day he and Cena first shook their hands. Orton then says he had known Cena for 25 years, up until a few months ago. Orton recalls that hustle, loyalty and respect were the daily Chinese mantras of his life. Orton then says that there’s a gap in Cena and that he’s been thinking about all the fans and children who have respected Cena for a long time. Orton says that generations and generations of children respect China. That should mean something to China. Orton then references China’s history in Make a Wish Foundation. Orton then says that Cena couldn’t tell him that all those kids were just numbers. Orton says Cena needs to have children.
Orton then says that Cena needs to become a father and grow up. That’s because it makes China a better person. Cena smirks and tells Orton how brave you are. Cena then asks Orton how he can mislead him by his parents in front of the whole world. Cena says congratulations to Randy Orton, who you have children and you love them. China says it’s good for you. Cena says the real reason she has no children is because he has raised yours for the past 25 years. Cena says the real truth is that for the past 25 years, he has been a better parent than all his children than ever before. Cena then points out how a 6-year-old in the crowd gives him a finger and calls it classy. Cena says she’s been police that kid-like brat for a quarter of a century. Cena then tells the child not to hold a knife in the shootout. Cena then says that your loser’s dad must have not taught you that. Orton says fans are the reason Cena is in the ring and why Cena ended up in Hollywood.
Orton says there’s no WWE without the WWE universe and fans say that China is the biggest reason why it’s still there. Orton then says he has made many mistakes throughout his career, but he is respected by his peers, so he can go to the locker room and lift his head high. Orton then says he’s here to be here, but Cena is just a guest. Cena says she believed in Orton’s perspective, as WWE would not be there without fans. Cena says she thought everyone won together, but it wasn’t everyone, he was the only one who won. Cena then refers to the “Let’s Go Senna/Cena Sucks” chant and the crowd begins the chant. Cena then calls everyone hypocrites. Cena says that if she gets bored of him she can put energy into the other superstars, but if the roles are reversed, he is exiled. Cena says that his relationship with fans is not functional because of all this. Cena says fans are manipulating the truth and calling out someone else in the crowd to wear clothes like Jack Black. Cena says he is labelled as an outcast and guest because he is simply trying to do something different. Orton then responds by saying he’s so stupid, thinking he can go there, and Cena will hear what he has to say. Orton realizes that he is part of one of the wrestling royals. Orton. Wrestling says he and his family will provide him until he is six feet on the ground. As Orton moves on, Cena tells him to close his mouth. Cena says Orton doesn’t understand. Cena says he’s already got 17 while Orton is winning 14, but after bringing the belt home with him, Orton is frozen forever at 14. Cena says what he’s trying to do is erase the three generations of Orton’s family.
Orton then gets hot and Cena demands that he put his title here and now on the line. Cena then retains the title and says no. Cena says she’s done it over and over the past 25 years to save Orton’s ass. After that, China says there should be a match, but it shouldn’t happen tonight. Cena then says that it should happen in the backlash as the backlash is in St. Louis, Orton is from St. Louis and Orton can spend the day with his family before the game. Cena says he’ll need Randy Orton in the backlash when Orton fails. Cena is because that’s what the last real champion looks like. Cena then holds the title and says Orton reaches the title and throws the title with Orton. Cena then steps on Orton and lines up to hit Orton with the belt, but Orton is a duck and gives Cena an RKO. Orton then grabs the title and holds it above his head as he poses with the second rope. Orton’s music then hits and ends the segment.

Los Garza then proceeds towards the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Santos Escobar and Fraquium.
Tag Team Match: Los Garza (Angel and Berto) vs. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom)
The match begins with Axiom and Berto, with both men locking up. Axiom hits Dropkick with Berto and tags with Frazer. Fraser then slams Taupe Swampeda outward with a belt and an angel, and Fraser flies on the top rope and lands outside again on both men. Axiom hits a moonsaw from the top ropes of Berto and Angel.
Fraser then sends the belt back inside the ring and goes to the pin, but the belt kicks out. The axioms then tag him, and Angel hits a kick on his spine before tagging the belt. Berto delivers some stomps to Axiom and tags them with Angel. Angel then continues to beat the axioms and tag the belt. The belt then wears axiom with a submission hold, Fraser tagging and hits the belt with a sling blade, but Rothgarza hits a double slam with a fraser on the ropes, and the belt moons out. The belt then asks for pins, but the Angel crashes into them and breaks the fall.
Angel and axiom deliver each other with their right hand. Axiom then slaps a Spanish fly at the top with the Angel, and Fraser chases it for the victory with a Phoenix splash.
Tag Team winner Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) match!
#diy (Johnny Gargano and Tomso Cianpa) are shown sitting in the dressing room, and Teshitoa exaggerates the TLC match. Tessitore will then hype Tiffany Stratton, with the WWE Women’s Champion appearing.
The music of WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is hit and she moves towards the ring. Stratton starts by asking the crowd what time it is, and everyone screams “Tiffy’s time!” Stratton then says he went toe toe with one of the greatest Charlotte Flairs of all time. Stratton then says that she ultimately won, and that she is still the WWE women’s champion. After that, Stratton says she was always told that she was the next Charlotte Flair, but that’s wrong as there’s only one Tiffany Stratton. Jade Cargill’s music is a hit, and Cargill grabs her with wrestling gear and microphone. Cargill says she’s there to give credit where it was due. Cargill says Tiffany’s match with Charlotte created a big target on Tiffany’s back. Cargill says she only has time as her business ended with Naomi, and everyone says it’s time to see how she became champion in WWE. Cargill tells Tiffany that just because he defeated Charlotte, she’s not the best. Cargill then says he had to beat her to become the best Tiffany. Tiffany says it’s okay and if that’s what she wanted, she’ll wrestletter with Cargill now. The referee then runs away, rings and the match begins.
Non-title match: WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill
The match begins and both women waste no time chasing each other and locking up. Stratton then offers her hand to Cargill, which Cargill shakes. Stratton then pulls Cargill to attack her, but Cargill raises the Stratton over her shoulder. Stratton then escapes, but Cargill hits her with a backbreaker. Stratton then crashes Cargill into the rope and bumps into her with a hip attack, attacking several spines.
Stratton then hits two hand springback elbows at Cargill in an adjacent corner, then goes to Pin, but Cargill kicks off. Stratton then hits a belly-to-belly suppression with Cargill, but Cargill sends Stratton to the corner and does some push-ups in the ring. Cargill then stuffs the boots behind Stratton’s neck and follows it with a pump kick. Stratton then sets up for Cargill’s cleanest moon saw, but Cargill avoids it and hits a sit-out power bomb with Stratton to go to the pin, but Stratton kicks out.
Stratton then hits a missile dropkick at Cargill, but Cargill responds with Stratton’s superplex. Naomi then proceeds towards the ring and delivers several strikes to Cargill, causing disqualification.
Any matches other than the title will end in the NO contest due to external interference!
After the match, Naomi first crashes Cargill into the ring post shoulder twice, then crashes into the opposite ring post. Stratton then returns to the ring and stares at Naomi, but Naomi slips out of the ring. Nia Jax then blinds Stratton from behind, nailing her with An-Nia-Lator and knocking her down her leg before maintaining the WWE Women’s Championship.
WWE US champion Jacob Fatu is heading into the ring with Solo Sicor. Fat is a hymn from a crowd immersed in “Fatu!” Cicor asks the crowd to show their love and respect for their new American champion, Jacob Fatu. Sikor says everyone has seen what they have already seen at WrestleMania. That means Jacob Fatu is the future of the company. Then Sikor says no one in his family wanted Fatu in WWE, except for him. Sikoa says everyone thought Fatu was too risky, but he says that it’s the only reason Fatu is there and Fatu is the champion. Fatu glars at Shikoa. Sikore then rants and Fatu grabs the microphone from Sikore. Fatu then tells Sicoa not to give Sicoa a twist as she says she’ll win the US title. Fatu tells Sicoa that the US title is coming back to the family and says he will do it with or without Sicoa. Fatu says that’s exactly what he did and he tells Texas to see their new US champion. Fatu says he knows the title threatens him to society, and at the end of the day, Sicoa says it’s better for him to go into the right place.
La Knight’s music is hit, and Knight heads to the ring on the microphone. Knight begins by saying Wrestlemania Fatu has eaten BFT. Knight then recalls how Fatu escaped from Ping’s attempt and took advantage of the opportunity to defeat Knight in the middle of the ring. Knight says everyone said he had hell of matches at WrestleMania. Knight says he doesn’t care about it because he wants his rematch and he wants it now. Drew McIntyre’s music is a hit, and McIntyre comes out. McIntyre stood at the entrance with the microphone and says drawing McIntyre wasn’t always easy. McIntyre says he has some big guns, just like Texas. McIntyre says he defeated Damian’s priest in one of the most violent matches in WrestleMania history. McIntyre then looks into the camera and thanks the priest for making him embarrassed in front of his family. McIntyre says his next plan is to challenge Cena for his world title, but Orton jumped over the line. McIntyre wonders if it’s Nepo Wrestling Entertainment.
McIntyre says he wants to fight the worst dogs in Yard Jacob Fatu as he steps into his apron. Knight then laughs at talking McIntyre, and McIntyre says Knight is always kidding, but the only joke here is Knight’s final title run. Knight says McIntyre’s final title run was a joke, but he couldn’t remember. Knight says if McIntyre thinks he deserves a title shot, McIntyre should step into the ring and show the Knight. Nick Aldis then goes outside and tells everyone to wear tights on his back, and tonight Knight will face McIntyre to decide who will be the next first candidate for the US Championship.
After that, Jellina Vega stumbles on Byron Saxton, who says that Vega can become the new women’s US champion tonight. Vega says tonight that she’s speechless because she’s been hoping for this for a long time. Vega says you’ll grow up or go home in Texas, and she leaves the US title around her waist.
Zelina Vega then goes to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Chelsea Green, Albafir and Piper Niven.
WWE Women’s US Championship Match: Chelsea Green (c) vs. Herbs
The match begins with Vega delivering his right hand to the green on the corner. Fear then causes Vega to hit the bottom of the outer ring, and Niven drops his elbow on Vega on the outer side as Green is distracted by the judge.
Green stuffs her knees behind Vega’s neck and then continues to wear her. Vega then hits the German suppression on the green from the middle rope and follows it on Meteora. Fire then jumps onto the apron, opens the green door and slams Vega’s Enz-Egiri, setting it up for the backlog. Vega then counters backstabber and dials for 619 on the green, but the referee catches both Fire and Niven’s misconduct and kicks him out of ringside. Vega then hits green with Code Red for victory.
Winner and new WWE Women’s US champion, Jellina Vega!
Then head backwards. There, Carmelo Hayes is shown along with Andre’s giant commemorative battle royal trophy. Hayes is with Miz and says that he sacrificed himself for Carmelo because Miz has a vision for Carmelo. Miz then presents Carmelo with a chain holding Andredo’s head. Carmelo says the chain represents the chip on his shoulder. Carmelo says he is bigger than life and is the 10th wonder in the world. Carmelo says he is him. Miz says Carmelo inspired him, and therefore he is trying to make his moment in the ring.
Later, seeing Miz standing in the ring, he says that since 2007 he has been an integral part of WrestleMania, but this year he hasn’t had a match or a mention. Miz then reminded everyone that he made Wang a major and defeated John Cena. This is something even Cody Rhodes could not do. Miz then realizes that he has been here for 20 years. Miz then asks what he has to do, wears Lucha’s mask and calls Ray herself. Ms. looks at how Randy Orton needed an opponent, but instead Joe Hendry got the opportunity. Miz reminds everyone that he is an A-Lister and the most must-see superstar of all time. The lights will then go out and you will see a candle shining light near the entrance. Aleister Black then rose from the floor and he proceeded towards the ring, chanting from the crowd “We are welcomed!” Black looks around and basks in cheers. Miz then walks towards black and black, hitting a black chunk of Miz. Black then sits next to Miz to finish the segment.
He then heads behind Byron Saxton interviewing Bianca Bellare. Saxton brings out the way Bel Air broke some fingers. Bel Air says she was extremely proud of her match at WrestleMania, even if things didn’t work out in her way. Bel Air then says that it’s not the last time she’ll see Rare Ripley as Ripley inserted herself into a match that Ripley wasn’t worthy of her. And Bel Air says when she returns she has a business that needs to be dealt with.
Later, she meets Nia Jax as she sees Naomi walking through the backstage area. Jacks tells Naomi not to get in the way when it comes to Tiffany and Tiffany’s titles. Naomi says she will as long as Jax moves carefully.
Lanite then heads into the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Drew McIntyre.
WWE US Championship #1 Competitor Match: “The Mega Star” La Knight vs. “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre
The match begins and both men waste no time chasing each other and locking up. Both men exchange chops with each other, but McIntyre bounces Knight’s face off the top rope, first crashing into the barricade on the outer face. McIntyre delivers several stomps to the knight when he returns to the ring, and delivers his right hand to the knight’s spine. Knight then responds with McIntyre’s suppression, then he first crashes into the top turnbuckle’s face and chases it with a neckbreaker.
Knight then climbs the rope, drops his elbow on McIntyre and goes to Pin, but McIntyre kicks out. Knight then slams McIntyre’s dropkick through the middle rope, causing him to repeatedly crash his face from the announcement desk before sending it into the ring. Solosicore slams Samoa’s spikes on the Knight as McIntyre is distracted by the referee and sends him back inside the ring. McIntyre then sets up for a Claymore kick, but Damian’s priest pulls him out of the ring causing disqualification.
Due to disqualification, the winner of the WWE US Championship match and the WWE US Championship contender, as “Scottish Warrior” portrayed McIntyre!
After the match, the priest continues to beat McIntyre and crashes through the announcement desk in the South of Heaven. Jacob Fatu then appears and splatters the knights and priests in the opposite corner before hitting the knights and priests with Moonzoo.
He then bumps into R-Truth as he sees John Cena walking through the area behind the scenes. The truth is that if Cena needs him, Cena can call him. Jimmy Lie then appears and the truth tells Jimmy that he still wants to be like Cena when he grew up. Jimmy says the truth is already growing.
It will then be announced next week that Aleister Black will face Miz.
Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) head towards the ring for the evening main event and the main event of #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tomassocianta) and Street Profits (Montesford and Angelo Dawkins).
WWE Tag Team Championship Triple Threat TLC Match: The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) (C) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs. #diy (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa)
The match begins with #Diy chasing the Motor City Machine Gun. The street profit is blindside #diy, but #diy grabs the ladder. The Motor City Machine Gun then uses a ladder to hit a double drop kick with #Diy, then delivers the right hand with the right hand to Johnny Gargano, Tomassociampa, Montesford and Angelo Dawkins. Alex Shelley then opened the ropes for Sabin to fly, but Gargano slams him with a chair. Gargano hits Shelley with it, and Cyanpa hits Ford with a chair on the other side of the ring. Dawkins then crashes Champa into the announcement desk, causing Gargano to hit the ring post, grabbing the ladder and sliding it into the ring. He then sets it up, but Sabin locks it into Dawkins’ sleeper. Dawkins is still climbing the ladder, and Shelley uses one of the rangs to smash Dawkins’ dragon screws.
Shelley then climbs the ladder, but Gargano pulls him away. Shelley and Sabin then hand Gargano their right hand and crash into the side of the ladder, crashing over the Ford and sending the ladder. Dawkins then fights a machine gun from Motor City, then splashes at Sabin and Shelley in the opposite corner. The Motor City Machine Gun trips Dawkins, who appears to climb the rope, and Sabin places the chair over Dawkins in the corner when he is covered with knees from the top rope. Shelley then hits a slide kick on Dawkins, but Ford flies over the top rope and lands on everyone outside.
After that, Ford grabs a ladder and slides it into the ring, then raises it into the ring and climbs it. Champa then joins Ford at the ladder, with both men delivering their right hands to each other, while Gargano sets up a second ladder and climbs. He then slams Ford’s jump flatliner from the ladder, and Dawkins pulls Champa away from the ladder. He then climbs it himself, bumps into a neckbreaker and leaves Gargano. Champa then climbs the ladder and Sabin joins him, but Dawkins pushes both men off the ladder. Cyanpa then places a chair around Shelley’s neck, Gargano smacks him with the second chair, and Cyanpa before hitting a brainbuster with Sabin on one of the chairs. #diy then beats Dawkins in the chair, and Gargano sets them in succession. Dawkins then hits a twisted neckbreaker with Gargano after Ford comes to his aid.
Street profits hype each other and grab the table and slide it into the ring. Dawkins then gets Champa in the electric chair position, and Ford flies over the top rope and uses him to hit Champa’s big hit and take away everyone else on the outside. Sabin then sets Dawkins on the outer table, and Ciampa crashes the Ford to the side of the ladder, stacking the tables on top of it. Ciampa then places the table on top of the outer ladder as Sabin hits a frog splash from the top rope and a frog splash on Dawkins via another table. Ford flies over the top rope and crashes another table on the adjacent side of the ring.
Ford nails Cyanpa with a super kick to the apron, but Champa responds with Ford’s round house kick. Champa then sends herself, and Ford crashes the ladder in an air raid from the apron. Sabin nails Gargano with his boots to the ring apron, dragging him onto the table, holding him in place for Shelley to fly over the top rope. The Motor City Machine Gun then sends itself, and Gargano crashes the table.
Ciampa then climbs a ladder set up inside the ring and unscrew the WWE Tag Team Championship Belt. Shelley and Sabin then pull the ladder from under him, accessing his feet with a chair and setting up a table under him. Dawkins then climbed Ladder Shelley, and Sabin left Champa and Dawkins’ Spears Cyanpa through the table. Shelley then climbs onto the ladder, but Gargano throws a chair at him to prevent him from climbing. Gargano climbs the ladder as Sabin does the same on the other side. Gargano and Sabin deliver their right hands to each other, but Sabin fights Gargano and causes him to crash into the floor. Ford then crashes Sabin down the ladder, but Gargano drapes him into one of the rungs and makes him a super kick. He then climbs the ladder, but Sabin meets him on the other side. Ford then climbs to the side of the ladder to join both men, causing him to crash into the floor. He then unlocks the WWE Tag Team Championship Belt and wins the match between himself and Dawkins.
Triple Threat TLC winner and WWE Tag Team Champion winner, The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins)!
After the match, Street Profits celebrate the victory and highlights will appear. While executive producer credits are displayed, street profits take celebrations into the crowd. Teshitoa then calls it the best TLC match of all time, and the show comes to an end.
