Jey Uso is struggling to deal with the impact of WWE WrestleMania World Title Win

2 Min Read

Last Saturday, on the first night of WrestleMania 41, Jey Uso surprised Gunther to win his first World Heavyweight Championship in WWE. Despite both many fans and wrestling media having mixed reactions to USO’s challenge to “General Ring” in order to win the Royal Rumble last February, the New World Champion has now won “the epic stage of them all” and solidified its position as the company’s main event star. After the show, USO appeared on the show on Saturday at WrestleMania 41, where he was asked about his current position at WWE and what he felt was a new face of the promotion.

“Leave a fire for me, and if you’re asking me uce, yes, hell, yeah, I love it, lie said.

USO’s title victory at WrestleMania 41 placed him in an elite group of WWE talents who were able to win the World Championship after starting their career as a star of the tag team. Before continuing with the title celebration, USO reflected on the next name on that list, saying it never found success as a singles competitor.

“There’s no one there, because I always wanted to be a tag team wrestler with my twin brothers… I’m starting to progress and seeing the various doors open, you want to take advantage of their opportunities. The lie said, “We’re the last of the dying breed. That’s what I think. It’s live plays, one shot, one take, a live TV. So I’m that guy, all my brothers and sisters, everyone I wear today, behind the scenes, we’re a big family to be honest.”
