14-time women’s world champion Charlotte Flair again took part in the championship scene during this year’s WrestleMania, facing Tiffany Stratton at the WWE Women’s World Championships, losing. But before “the most epic stages of all those”, Flair commented on the future of storytelling in the women’s division and on the potential return of “evolution.”
“I’ve heard all these rumors, so it was a few years. [start it up again]”Flare explained in an interview with Dennis Salcedo. “Overall, it’s really about having more women’s storylines and women’s main events.
Flare also commented on the current state of women’s wrestling in WWE, celebrating the abilities of many women on today’s roster, especially how much they experienced some of the new signatures.
“Inexperience, experience, and then you have these waves that you know – bring Tiffany a year ago and Roxanne to appear, [Sol Ruca] Have you won the speed title? I think that’s great,” she explained, adding that she hopes that the women who will be called on the main roster by “NXT” after WrestleMania will call more women.
