Brian Danielson shared a new update on his potential ring return and discussed the idea of knowing when to leave.

Danielson last wrestled at the AEW Wrestleam Pay-Per-view in October 2024, losing the AEW World Championship to John Moxley in the final match of his full-time career.

Since then, there has been some uncertainty surrounding the future in Danielson’s ring, and the former champion has commented now.

Speaking to Jamal Niaz of Jnmedia, Bryan Danielson pointed out that he hasn’t ruled out another match but wants to live comfortably.

He said, pointing out that once it was over he would be happy with his career:

“My neck is destroyed. There’s no chance, but at this point it’s risk vs. reward. I can live comfortably with my wife and children.

“One of the things our society has had is realizing that enough is enough. I’m very pleased with my career. I think it’s enough.”

When asked if there was anything he could return to the ring, Danielson pointed out that he had always enjoyed wrestling at Butlins Holiday Resort in the UK.

“My return was when I was younger, I was struggling with the butler…

“We just toured, toured and toured. I came back for the Butlin run.”

John Moxley is set to defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at the AEW Beach Break.

An update has been made to plan this special. For more information, see here.
