It’s been more than a decade since El Rey Network aired the pilot episode of their new wrestling show, “Lucha Underground.” At the time, no one knew what the show had on the wider world of wrestling, but despite running only four seasons in total, Lucha Underground has become one of the most beloved wrestling products of the past 20 years.

Prince Puma, the other half of the first ever Lucha Underground Domain event, was seen in the lights of Season 1 Episode 1 thanks to Johnny Mundo.

By the time he arrived at Lucha underground, following the exit from WWE in 2011, the former “WWE Tough” winner was completely immersed in the independent scene, and was able to completely reinvent it by winning the Lucha Underground Triple Crown after Phoenix. He only appeared in the final season of Lucha Underground, but Jake Strong finished his final season as a double champion and left a lasting impression on the promotion. As many people know, Jake Strong was the name of WWE’s former Jack Swagger. The answer is Jeff Cobb. Jeff Cobb is another man who sought legal action against Lucha Underground in his contract situation. This means that in season 4, he was not allowed to appear on air until the character was killed. This led him to take his talent to PWG and NJPW, making sporadic appearances in AEW in recent years. However, at the time of writing, Cobb has put together an eight-year, successful stint for NJPW and appears to be heading for WWE in the near future.

Dario Quet, the crazy scientist who made everything about chaos happen within the temple, is widely regarded as one of the most unique original characters created by wrestling promotion in recent years.

Spanish actor Luis Fernandez Gill, who previously starred in films like “Jack and Jill” alongside Adam Sandler, and Queto, a television show like “The Mentalist,” were characters shot and killed at the end of season three. Gill is still acting, and currently portrays Cesar Duran in MLW, so he runs some underground wrestling promotions. In the storyline, he also works on the “MLW Azteca” event.
