While the status of professional wrestling as a true “sport” may be questioned by many critics, the sacrifices that fall on the human body cannot be denied. It is often considered the business of a young man, as the wear and tear that can be held in an old body can destroy it as it approaches retirement. but, WWE Wrestlers often play well up to their forties, indicating that their longevity is not confusing.
The truth is, WWE legends like Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton won their first world title, among other things, when they were still quite young. However, there are many wrestlers who are enjoying their careers a lot.

Sami Zayn ended Gunther’s record-breaking 666-day reign in 2024 in a great 2024. WrestleMania 40 Kickstart his fourth rule as the Intercontinental champion. Zayn held the InterContinental Championship for four months before dropping the title to Wron Breakker Summer Slam.
OG Bloodline was reunited with Zayn in the fall of 2024, and they defeated the new Bloodline at Survivor Series: War Games. Zayn clashed with MIZ on Raw on Netflix and Zayn Triumphant on January 13, 2025. He took part in the men’s royal rumble match, but was eliminated by Jawsaw. WWE also revisited their rivalry with Kevin Owens, playing an unauthorized match at Elimination Chamber 2025, where the former won.

Without a doubt, 2024 was the best year of Nia Jacks’ WWE career and was worthy of the praise she achieved. She won the 2024 Queen of the Ring Tournament, defeating Bailey in Summer Slam and losing twice to the WWE Women’s Champion, changing that victory.
The charming force delivered goods in her first world championship reign over six years, and she was a victim of the bank’s cash-in when she dropped the title to the bank’s Money in the Ally Tiffany Stratton. Jacks had a title rematch with Stratton, but was unable to beat her. Additionally, she also tried to win the Women’s World title from Rhea Ripley in the January 25th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, but was defeated. Nia hasn’t struggled since the elimination room, but there were rumours that it was due to injuries, but she said it wasn’t. She recently attacked Tiffany Stratton, signaling a new focus on their feud.

Ivar may have suffered when Erik, a partner on the tag team, was on the shelf, but he thrived in solitude. Unfortunately, Ivar’s momentum stopped when he was injured. Nevertheless, after months of bystanders, Ibar returned and was better than ever as both members of the War Raiders were fit.
Ivar has had a decent year so far. He defended the World Tag Team Championship with his tag partner, Eric, against teams such as American Maid and Judgment Day. Eventually, they lost their title belt until their new day at WrestleMania 41. In March, Ivar became the number one contender for the Speed Title, beating Dominic Mysterio in the tournament finals, but did not snatch the belt from Dragon Lee.

Dexter’s final match in WWE was also against last year’s Raw’s December 16th edition of MIZ. He hasn’t struggled since then, and it seems creatives know what to do with him and the other Wyatt Sids.

The injury has hindered Brown Strowman’s WWE career, and it has been more than four years since he last held the championship at WWE, the WWE Universal Championship. Strowman returned from neck surgery in April 2024 and joined a feud with Bronson Reed. The monster between the men suffered a torn injury in a rivalry with Bronson Reed, and he defeated the lead in the final monster standing match.
Strowman then moved from Raw to Smackdown in the Transfer window. In January he began a feud with Jacob Fatu. This concluded shortly after the April match, and decided on the number one contender for the US title. He wanted to be a WrestleMania grand slam, but he wasn’t even on a match card.

He became the number one candidate for the belt in February and regained it by beating Nakamura the following month. Knight lost Jacob Fatu’s title at WrestleMania 41.

MFT was a fun member of the pedigree as he made the sound of fans joining him. Tama held the WWE Tag Team Championships with Tongaroa and Jacob Fatu for several months in 2024. He was responsible for a handful of matches in 2025, including OG Bloodline, Brown Strowman, Cody Rhodes and Lanite. Most of these were tag team matches. In April 2025, Tonga was injured by a night on television before WrestleMania matched with Jacob Fatu. Tonga reportedly suffers from injuries in real life and will be out of the ring for a while.

Damien’s priest won money in 2024 at the WrestleMania 40 bank briefcase and rose to the summit when he defeated Drew McIntyre at the World Heavyweight Championship. Infamy’s shooter proved many deniers wrong by having a brilliant four-month world heavyweight championship rule. The priest was strongly booked after dropping the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther at Summer Slam in 2024. The priest defeated Valor Bad blood In 2024, and their feud came to sleep when the priest defeated Valor again in Raw’s outstanding street fight on January 13, 2025. The priest couldn’t win the removal room 2025 thanks to Drew McIntyre, who had him eliminated. This led to a Sin City Street Fight match between the two at WrestleMania, where McIntyre won.

Natalia is one of the most experienced female wrestlers on the 42-year-old main roster and does a good job whenever she is asked to. The former two-time world champion had been bidding to become the first WWE champion of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, but she failed to explore as she lost a triple threat match with Iyo Sky, who advanced to the next round.
Over the past few months, Natalia has been working on live, speed and main events. She approached by beating Candice Lela for the WWE Speed women’s championship, but not so. In April 2025, she failed to win the number one candidate gauntlet match in the women’s tag team title. Natalia also wrestled at Josh Burnett’s Bloodsport XIII event and took on Yamashita Yu. It was her first time in almost 20 years that she had wrestled outside of WWE.

Asuka is one of the most talented female wrestlers to adorn the WWE ring. Tomorrow’s Empress is the Grand Slam champion and in the fall of 2023 she joined the Damage CTRL. Asuka continued her impressive winning streak, hosting the WWE Championships from 2016 to 2024.
Unfortunately, as Asuka suffered a knee injury that required surgery, she was once again on the sidelines, and she stopped. Asuka wrestled last in WWE Backlash 2024, losing to the teams of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. The latest report suggests that Asuka will return to WWE for a few weeks, perhaps in May. This year has started badly for her. She had a strange fan interaction that left her “feeling” behind, and she urged her to contact authorities too. She renewed her fans in February and said, “WWE and TKO are taking action to protect me.”

It seemed Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods had broken up as their tag team was on the rocks. However, the pair stayed together and turned the heels by launching a big E from the new day. The heat that Dominik Mysterio suffered is now shifting to new days.
The act of the new day was old, and Kingston had a great need for heel turn. The former WWE champion is 43 years old and he is still incredible form. At WrestleMania 41, he and his tag partner Xavier Woods ultimately defeated the War Raiders and ended their 124-day World Tag Team Championship Reign. This victory will make the new day WWE’s record 12-time tag team champion.

Surprisingly, Finballore has not won his second World Championship since winning the WWE Universal Championship last. Summer Slam 2016. Despite this, Balor held a World Tag Team Championship with JD McDonagh, and was a disappointing championship reign.
Rivalry with Damien’s priest, former tag team partner, Damian, reached its peak in 2025, and Barore needs a major rivalry to boost stocks once again. On Judgment Day there is a struggle for power, with both Balor and Liv Morgan trying to take factions in different directions. At WrestleMania 41, Balor took a pinfall loss from Dominik Mysterio in the fatal four-way match of Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Championship. For now it doesn’t seem to have a grenade from his side to Mysterio, but fans were hoping he would turn him on soon. This rivalry is great for Barore, who hasn’t had a big feud for a while.

The first two Grand Slam champions in WWE history have MIZ surpassed expectations for a wrestling career. Miz won the World Tag Team Championship alongside R-Truth in a six-pack ladder match at the WrestleMania 40.
Without a doubt, the two-time WWE champions have better heels than the babyface. He betrayed R-Truth and became a companion to the final will. 2025 was not particularly important to great people. There have been reports that WWE wanted to book him in a feud with Joe Hendry, who recently faced Randy Orton on the show, but Ariel Schnane wasn’t behind the idea. WWE also did not book a Miz for the WrestleMania 41. Given that his contract will expire this year, it’s not surprising that Miz decided to leave the company.

WWE should have pulled the trigger to make Shayna Baszler a major force, but there have been a few times that have not been the case. She was in Charlotte Flair compliant in the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. WrestleMania 36. Second, she defeated Ronda Rousey at Summer Slam 2023, but they couldn’t take advantage of the big win.
The Queen of Spades spent part of her WWE career with Tag Team Competition, the WWE women’s tag team champion. She is a member of the Pure Fusion Collective along with Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark. Baszler and Stark have failed to win the Tag Team Championship so far, and at the age of 44, the clock is ticking for Baszler to have a chance to win the silver product. The PFC lost the number one candidate gauntlet match in the women’s tag team title in April, but it appears they won’t win the title anytime soon. Baszler renewed his contract with WWE in September 2024, but many fans hope to become a younger generation trainer/coach after retirement.

14-time WWE World Champion Randy Orton is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Orton is incredible form at the age of 44, and Viper is chasing his 15th World Championship reign, but has not been able to win his previous world title since October 2020.
In October 2024, Orton began a feud with Kevin Owens. Because Kody Rhodes teamed up with Kudi Rhodes after Orton, Ko and Cody felt treated by the faction and betrayed by Cody. Orton was out for months due to an attack from Owens (Orton was dealing with real-life injuries and needed some time off), but the bounty player himself was injured before their feud led to a WrestleMania match. Orton has announced the opening challenge for two nights at WrestleMania. On Raw after WrestleMania, Viper attacked John Cena from behind during his promotion and began a feud for another world title between the two. This could be a rivalry that will lead to Orton’s 15th world title reign.

Nakamura took on another long break after being drafted to Smackdown in the 2024 draft lottery. Nakamura returned as a heel and he turned to American champion La Knight. The whimsical samurai had a new attitude and a new theme song. He wasted time defeating Megastar in Survivor Series: Wargames and became the WWE US three-time champion.
Nakamura has five rulers as the central card champion on the main roster, and all five of his rulers were overwhelming. His US title reign ended with the Smackdown edition on March 7, 2025, where he returned the title to the Knight. This unexpected loss led to rumors that WWE was releasing Nakamura, but was later exposed by the fight Sean Ross Sapp. Nakamura attempted to retrieve his belt from the night during the house show, but failed. He last wrestled during this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale.

Karito returned to WWE as a babyface and as a member of the LWO, but the former InterContinental and the US champion turned their heels when they left the group. Despite this, Karito was a member of the Judgment Day, but became a full-fledged member of the group.
Carlito is a funny member of Judgment Day as he appears in several behind-the-scenes skits by playing video games and laughing. Karito is featured in a feud on the day of judgement between war raiders and Damien priests, but at age 45, Karito is unlikely to run another major single in WWE. He returned to the ring on his final smackdown before WrestleMania by participating in Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale. In addition to interfering in the Bron Breakker match and gaining a spear on him, Karito hasn’t done much in 2025 so far.
