Brian Danielson had some of the biggest moments in wrestling history, but when it comes to choosing the biggest history, the answer is not something that some fans would expect.

During an interview with Jamal Nias, Brian was asked whether he won the WWE World title at the WrestleMania 30 or the AEW World title. London meant more to him. Without hesitation, Brian chose Wembley. “Ah, um, I’m definitely at Wembley Stadium.” Brian said. “And you know, the real reason behind it is because of what surrounds the event itself.

Brian made it clear that it wasn’t just a match or title. “It just felt great to know that my career was coming to an end and that it felt like I was grateful even when it happened.” He added.

At the 2014 WrestleMania 30, Daniel Brian overcame an incredible odds. First, he defeated Triple H and even qualified for the main event. Later that night, he defeated Randy Orton and Batista in a triple threat match, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, captured in what many called the biggest underdog story in wrestling history. Brian’s image chant, which led 70,000 fans with “Yes!”, became one of the defining moments of the decade.

Fast forward to everything at London’s Wembley Stadium, Brian Danielson secured the AEW world title in front of over 80,000 fans. This time it wasn’t just mountain climbing. Soaking in the achievements of a lifetime career, his wife and children celebrated with him in the ring. Knowing that his wrestling career was over, the moment at Wembley carried deeper and more personal weight.
