Trick Williams crosses the line and attacks Joe Hendry in a TNA rebellion

The TNA Rebellion saw the partnership between TNA and WWE on a full swing, and had a fatal impact on kickoff show and the meta four girls working during the main card. The main event also saw NXT’s impact both during and after the match.

In the main event, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry defended the title against Frankie Cazarian and NXT’s Ethan Page, and it was Hendry who won the page. As Hendry celebrated in the ring, Trick Williams appeared out of nowhere, slamming the popular Scottish wrestler and hit him with a spinning kick that knocked him out of his leg. Hendry shook at the attack, Williams nailed Hendry with a trick shot, and the champion laid out coldly to the shock of fans.

Williams won the TNA world title and stared at it for a while before throwing Hendry’s chest, but revealed he was interested in the TNA world championships. The attack comes after Hendry and Williams met in the latest episode of WWE NXT.

Hendry and Williams teamed up at WWE NXT in 2024, and things are now very different. Title matches don’t seem to be an issue at any time, as Williams is not an NXT champion and Hendry hasn’t won the TNA’s richest award.
