Gunther of WWE explains why he doesn’t watch wrestling much, not because of lack of interest

Many veterans in the wrestling business will say that one of the best ways to improve is to try and consume as much content as possible, as long as they may learn a few things they may not have thought about before. But former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is not one of those people. He was recently asked about seeing what’s going on around him during his recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show.

“A honest answer, maybe I’m a bad example, but I see very little,” Gunther said. “I don’t seem to care… When I’m on TV, I see things I can see about the show. So I always watch live, but I miss it, but once again, it doesn’t seem to matter what other people do. No, it’s not. I don’t think it’s useful, but it changes where I can watch wrestling again.

Gunther explained that between married life, father and recently buying a home in both the US and Europe, he has no time to sit and watch every second of WWE programming. That being said, he sometimes goes back and watches old matches for fun, which is unusual for “Ring General.”
