Gunther hasn’t taken the WWE Backlash match against Pat McAfee seriously

Gunther may be missing from WWE TV, but he knows the future challenges he awaits him WWE Backlash.

Following the stop of his storyline for attacking Pat McAfee on the April 21 episode rawGunther remains off-screen. On airing on April 28th, McAfee officially challenged the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion to the match Repulsion May 10, 2025. As he said, “If I die, I will die.” Smackdown all-mangernick Aldis, who had been buried for injured raw GM Adam Pierce (and Gunther too), reluctantly played the match.
