The second Owen Hart Cup final has been set.
The April 30 episode of Dynamite featured the second semi-final of the ongoing tournament on the men’s side. Hangman Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher made that happen in the main event of the show.
The end of this match led Fletcher to get some near falls. Hangman Page then gained precedence and offered Moonzoo on the outside. Page put Fletcher back into the ring and prepares for the backshot lariat.
However, Fletcher pushed the referee in the final moments, rebutting the Hangman with a kick between his legs. Kyle went to Pin after the Brainbuster, but the page somehow still kicked out.
Kyle Fletcher then won the former AEW champion in the turnbuckle and aimed for another brainbuster, but Page pushed him down and delivered the lariat from the top of the corner. Adam Page manages to deliver the Buckshot Lariat from the usual location on the apron and finally gets the pin.
Will Osprey defeated Nishida Nishida to advance to the tournament final on April 16th in the dynamite episode.
Meanwhile, Jamie Hater won the position last week in the women’s final. She is currently set to face Mercedes Mohn on May 25th in both a double or an empty final set.
