WWE officially removed the former champion from the active roster after taking part in this week’s retirement match.

On April 29th, Rev. Sato played an official retirement match at the Sendai Girls Show, named in her honor.

She defeated Aja Kong and Hashimoto and worked with Protege Manami.

Satomura was on a retirement tour in Japan. This included three WWE Live Event matches for July 2024.

She is a former NXT UK women’s champion and the last person to hold the title before retiring to the Mandy Roses – in her 451-day reign.

Despite having not played games in WWE since July 2024 and not airing on television since NXT’s obstacles in March 2023, Satomura was still listed on WWE’s “current” roster page.

But that changed today as she was moved to the alumni section of the roster after her retirement.

Despite her absence and parting tour in Japan, she is still thought to be somewhat involved in some kind of trainer role or similar NXT behind the scenes.
