Charlotte Flair sent a message to Shotzi following confirmation of WWE’s departure.
It was confirmed today that Shotzi is leaving the company amid a wave of talent releases across WWE’s main roster and NXT.
However, unlike many of the names that departed, Shotzi’s exit reportedly informed the 33-year-old that she would not renew her contract.
Shotzi himself issued a statement expressing his gratitude for his time at WWE, but Charlotte Flair took him to social media to thank his one-off tag team partner.
Posting on Twitter, Flair wrote:
@shotziwwe Thanks for the few months at smackdown & long talks…
Flair and Shotzi merged several times in the fall of 2023 and competed on the same side in the women’s wargame match in the WWE Survivor Series 2023.
At the time of writing, 17 stars have departed WWE yesterday (May 2nd). Check this link here for a complete list of these names.
We hope Shodzi and all names leave the best in the future and whatever they do next.
