The former WWE star reportedly was behind the scenes on tonight’s May 3rd live episode of AEW Collision, which emanates from Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Tonight’s show was held at the Adrien Phillips Theatre in Boardwalk Hall, where FTR vs Paragon was found at the 2/3 Falls main event.
As Pwinsider reported, Maven Huffman was behind the scenes of the show.
Maven joined WWE in 2001, winning Tough’s first season and becoming a three-time hardcore champion.
When he was released in July 2005, his tenure ended.
Maven has come back to prominence through his popular YouTube channel and weekly videos discussing his time as a wrestler and some of the work of the wrestling business over the past few years.
His most popular videos include “A former WWE wrestler reveals the secrets of WWE,” “WWE finishers are most painful,” “Ratings WWE wrestlers worked with,” “How much money did they make as a WWE wrestler,” and “WWE wrestlers can’t break.”
Just a few weeks ago, he worked with current AEW World Tag Team Champion Shelton Benjamin in a video entitled “Shelton Benjamin Dismantles His Most Iconic Moment.”
There are no details yet regarding the specific reasons Maven is behind the scenes in tonight’s clash.
