Unique situation behind one WWE release

Riley Osborne’s time at WWE ended as Chase U Alum is one of those people cut from the promotion. Now it appears that there is more to his exit from WWE than to make eye contact at first.

Osborne’s exit from WWE had something to do with “non-restling ones.” Dave Meltzer shared on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer doesn’t say his release is “political,” but added that “the certain things that happened with him led to him being removed from television.”

Osborne joined WWE in 2022 and played his first match at NXT in early 2023, quickly finding himself as part of Chase U alongside Andre Chase, Duke Hudson and Thea Hail.

As a WWE NXT superstar, Osborne will have to wait 30 days to be able to sign or compete elsewhere. But finding a job in “non-appearances” that destined for his WWE run might prove to be a problem of its own for the former superstar.
