The reported new WWE signature teased a potential rematch with the absent star ahead of the company’s upcoming debut.

Former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Jeff Cobb recently finished his promotion after running at the 2025 New Japan Cup and reigning as IWGP World Tag Team Champion.

It has been reported for months that Cobb will be joining WWE, and his name has recently appeared on the internal roster, and last week his name came out at a creative meeting within the company.

Cobb jokingly teased his “retirement” after the departure of NJPW, but he now teases a potential first match in WWE.

Upon Twitter, fans shared footage of Cobb and WWE’s Star Bronson Reed match in the Pro Wrestling Guerilla, with Cobb saying:

Let’s do that when I go back to Big Man @Bronsonisher

Reed answered Cobb’s challenge and simply shared his GIF, having taken off his sunglasses.

Reed recently took action in 2024 with an injury injured in the Survivor Series Wargames.
