The show opens with a graphic tribute to the recently deceased Ted Turner and a video package that looks at the match between Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett then welcome us to the show, Jacob Fatu’s music hits, and he makes his way down to the ring. Fatu then grabbed the microphone and began saying that he would not be competing for the title against Roman Reigns tomorrow night at Backlash. Fatu then said he would take the title. Fatu said that all that everyone saw in Roman from an early age was the future. Then Fatu says that they did not see anything in him from childhood. The Usos’ music then hits and they make their way down to the ring. Jimmy says they’re not here to change his mind. Jimmy then says that nothing they say will change what will happen tomorrow. Jimmy then says he’s proud of Fatu for being in the main event of Backlash against Roman. Jimmy then says that he respects Fatu because he knows where he comes from. Jimmy then says that part of him is rooting for Fatu, but another part of him cares about him. Then Jimmy said he knows how important this “W” is to you. Jimmy said did you sit there and think about what would happen if you lost tomorrow?

Now let’s look at what happened to Danhausen, The Miz, and Kit Wilson last week. Danhausen is trying to get people to sign on as his partners. Danhausen then develops the potion and enters it into the computer. Then a spark will fly inside the cloning machine and a light will turn on. he. Sami then says that he is a working class hero who will represent Ride or Die fans until the end.

Sami then reminds Trick who he is. Sami then says he’s done everything he was supposed to do in WWE. Sami then says that he has been active for 20 years and has no plans to go anywhere. Sami then says he hates to give it to Trick, but admits that Trick got under his skin. Sami then says it’s personal. And I promise to make a joke out of tricks this Saturday. Sami then says that he’s disappointed that he lost, but that he’ll meet Trick at Backlash. Sami then hits a right hand. Sami then launches a vicious attack on Trick. Sami then raises the United States Championship, but the Gingerbread Man gets up. Then he took off his mask and it was Lil Yachty. He then hits Sami with a candy cane stick. Then Lil Yachty starts laughing. Trick then fires a trick shot at Sami. As the show draws to a close, trick music plays.
