WWE acquired AAA on a blockbuster deal that will be completed later this year if everything goes as planned. Currently, WWE has filled out its roster with some of the biggest and brightest names offered by the AAA.
WWE has signed several AAA stars, according to Ernesto Ocamo, editor-in-chief of Super Luchas. Included in the list
- Alberto El Patron
- Dr. Wagner’s son
- Viking’s son
- La Parka
- Ivy
- Lady Flames
- Lady Wonder
- Hamburger kids
Of the list, only El Patron has experience on the main WWE roster. The AAA Mega Champion spent years as Alberto Del Rio and became a four-time WWE World Champion.
Elle Patron has been the subject of many controversy both inside and outside the WWE, and for many years fans have believed he would never be brought back to the promotion. Alberto is still expected to perform in AAA under the rules of WWE, but it remains to be seen whether the former world champion has made another appearance in WWE main programming.
