Trevor Lee (aka Cameron Grimes) was released from the WWE contract in April 2024.
In the same post, Lee admitted that she passed all WWE drug tests during her tenure, except for the marijuana test. WWE star Ricochet responded to Lee’s comments, suggesting that the resulting marijuana fine is “worthy.”
However, Lee replied that he personally avoided such a fine. He attributed this to his timing and said he joined WWE after Matt Riddle.
Ricochet expressed surprise at Lee’s claim, suggesting that even after Riddle was part of the company he still faces fines, suggesting potential contradictions in policy enforcement.
Lee signed with WWE in January 2019 after giving her name in various promotions. At NXT, Grimes achieved great success with the popular “The Richest Man in NXT” gimmick. This story led to an interaction with WWE Hall of Fame Ted Diviaze and a feud with La Knight at the Million Dollar Championship.
He also won the NXT North American Championship in the NXT Stands & Delivery in April 2022. The Grimes finished their run at NXT in late 2022, and was officially drafted into the Smackdown brand in the 2023 WWE Draft, with the main roster debuting in May 2023.
