The WWE-AAA Takeover received its first major crossover reservation. Angel Garza and Humbert Carrillo, now known as Los Garza, will officially head to Triple Mania Legía on June 15th.
The announcement came at a recent press conference in Mexico. There, Latin enthusiasts confirmed the duo’s involvement. This makes Los Garza the first WWE superstar officially announced for AAA programming since WWE purchased the iconic Lucha promotion on April 19th.
“Angel Garza and Hambert Carrillo have confirmed Triple Mania Regia.” Journalist Jahir Cardenas posted along with a video of the announcement. Although there were no opponents, the move has already fueled speculation about how other WWE talents could appear in AAA’s flagship events.
Garza previously worked on AAA between 2015 and 2017, but Carrillo recorded a one-off appearance in 2015.
