Michael Droese, known in WWE from 1994 to 1996 as Duke “The Dumpster” Droese, was charged with attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.

The indictment was announced through a press release from District Attorney General Chris Stanford for the 31st Judicial District of Tennessee. Dorosé was charged during a session at the Warren County Grand Ju Court in May after a “short but very effective” investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. On April 21, 2024, Droese allegedly used her account on Coinbase of Cryptocurrency Exchange to purchase child sexual assault materials from Dark Web, but the transaction was flagged and ended before the purchase was completed.

The FBI initially received hints from Coinbase regarding attempted purchases, but it is still unclear what steps were taken in the initial investigation. However, on March 19, 2025, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received tips from the FBI on Dorosé, and five days later, Stanford sought assistance from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Reviewing the evidence, Stanford is said to have decided to accuse Dorosé of Miner’s worsening sexual exploitation attempts, and to justify the issue as an aggravated crime.

However, since Dorosé ultimately fails to secure the material he was planning to purchase, the claim is classified as an attempted criminal. The worsening attempt at sexual exploitation of a minor is a Tennessee Class D felony, sentenced to two to four years in prison, with Dorosé’s bail set by the circuit court at $10,000.

Dorosé handed himself to the Warren County Sheriff’s Division when he learned of the charges against him, and his arrest was set in Circuit Court on May 28, 2025. Dorosé was arrested and charged in 2013 on three counts supplying controlled substances.
