7 Min Read

WrestleMania marks the end of some of the biggest WWE As for this year’s storyline, there is a new beginning to its closure. WWE wasted no time shaking the women’s division, especially at Monday Night Raw. One of the busiest developments is the arrival (or re-emergence) of three outstanding NXT women.

All three women took part in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, in the weeks following WrestleMania 41, inserting into major stories, including interactions with WWE Women’s Champions Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley, which they confused with first-class talent. WWE seems to want to give a fresh look, but not everyone is rising at the same pace. So who is most likely to thrive in the raw, chaotic atmosphere on a Monday night? Let’s break down the early movements of each woman as WrestleMania and Project are poised to help the main event.

Julia – Beautiful madness

The international star WWE has been waiting

The previous Stardom Icon arrived at NXT in late 2024 due to hype, but it has been revealed that her stay will be shorter. Julia quickly abdicated Roxanne Perez at the NXT Women’s Championship, and a few months later, she bypassed the extended development process and made her live debut on the April 21st, 2025 episode, crashing the famous match between Stephanie Verker and Aiyo Sky. The moment showed one thing: WWE considers Julia as a star, not a star.

Julia has a constant “it” factor. Her charisma, presence, appearance, and her cruelly unique in-ring style that blends Japan’s strong style with theatricality stand out among other women in the department. She is one of the rare performers who turn their heads just by stepping into the frame. WWE knows this, so they’ve already pushed her into programs that include top tier names like Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley within their first three weeks at Raw.

Since her debut, she has partnered with Roxanne Perez, and their actions quickly sparked a plot. They targeted top talent, disrupted the match and are now booked in a major tag team showdown with Sky and Ripley on the May 12 episode of Raw. WWE is looking for international stars who can break into the wrestling circles. Julia has won a crossover appeal in Japan and is made to match such a marketing push.

Final Verdict: The other side of Julia’s incredible aura is that she doesn’t always know what to do with the WWE main roster being “different” especially when it comes to international talent. Expect big things from the beautiful madness when her promotional skills improve and she has a better grasp of English. However, as it stands, she ranks third among the women featured here in terms of future WWE success.

Roxanne Perez – Genius

A loser has something to prove

Roxanne Perez Royal Rumble 2025 Image

Roxanne Perez has two things WWE love historically. Consistency and youth. At just 23 years old, she is already one of the most technically skilled women on the roster. Her ability to sell, wrestle and adapt her style to a variety of enemies makes her a trustworthy ring talent. She is one of three women who hold the NXT Women’s Championship twice, and proves that WWE sees something big in the genius.

After it appears in Raw. Not only did she engage in a feud with Bailey in the lead-up to the Royal Rumble, she was also the final two of the match, and ultimately lost to Charlotte Flair. On the April 21 episode of Raw, She and Giulia interfered in Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky matches, marking their presence in the storyline, which already got on track for the Women’s World Championship. Perez challenged Ripley next week, then continued his showdown with IYO Sky for the past week. She’s not working on low cards. She is thrust into a large gun and she is passing by in flying colours.

Final Verdict: Roxanne will thrive in WWE for years to come. WWE always prefers the wrestler’s flashy appearance and muscular physique, so her size may limit her to some extent, but she will become the pillar of the women’s division. Of the three women mentioned, we place her in second place in terms of being the most successful we can find her in the future.

Stephanie Verker – First

The dominant champion with world-class talent

Stephanie Verker Royal Rumble 2025

The signature of Stephanie Verker, a veteran of the Chilean and Mexican wrestling scene and outstanding performer in both the NJPW and CMLL, was a move of power by the WWE in an ongoing effort to globalize the women’s division. She debuted as an episode of Raw on April 21, 2025.

Stephanie Verker’s ring-in style has earned her extensive acclaim in Mexico and Japan. So far, WWE has positioned her wisely as a nonsense athlete. That’s not to say her character’s work is not at standard, but with a fiery appearance and an aura that commands attention. What makes her stand out is what she feels Authentic. WWE’s current women’s division is leaning heavily towards character-driven performers, but Vaquer brings a refreshing element of Badassery and Athletic legitimacy.

Final Verdict:Forget the four horse women. Stephanie Vaquer has all the tools to become the next face of WWE’s women’s division. Like Julia, she needs to figure out how to do WWE, mainly in terms of promotional skills. However, of the three women presented here, Vaquer appears to have a constant presence in the main event scene, and she appears to be most likely to win the main event for WrestleMania in the future. This is why she ranks number one.
