The May 6 episode of WWE’s NXT brand brought a big show to CW. Non-US people could watch it on Netflix, and they certainly gained momentum in understanding who will face Obafemi next to the NXT title. That included a huge surprise.
WWE once had Elias on their roster and he had an impressive run, but he was eventually released. He became Elijah in the Indies and eventually became TNA wrestling.
Thanks to the partnership between TNA Wrestling and NXT, there were some surprises in Battle Royale, the No. 1 candidate for the NXT title. The winner of that match was now faced with Oba Femi in Battleground.
To the surprise of fans, Elijah was the last person to come out. He played a bit on his guitar, where he sang songs, and fans were excited to meet him. They also chanted, “Oh, walk with Elias,” but it slept. After all, his name is now Elijah.
This will require you to see if there will be more doors open from NXT’s Elijah. He certainly brings fresh momentum. At this point he’s also becoming a fan favorite.
